@StateofOhayo Good catch with that line of dialogue between Elinalese and Rudy about possible time distortion. Otherwise it would seem like a very coincidental encounter. Also, in case something goes horribly worng there's also a chance it doesn't happen in this season but I doubt it.
| @rasterman7 Thanks, friend! It's really hard to say how time could be distorted in this labyrinth but I think we will get somewhat of an answer next episode. I haven't read the manga so I don't know what's ahead but I can only hope they find his mom by the end of the season. |

@rasterman7 Well when Elinalese went back through the portal, Rudeus did say that she seemed gone longer than she thought. It could be that teleportation takes longer than you'd think. Perhaps instead of an instant, it's a bit longer. I also don't know the rules of the labyrinth, it could be that time is distorted since there's so many teleportation circles. Maybe we'll find out next episode. They still have to find Rudeus's mom, but if Roxy can get some rest they'll be much stronger.
Also, there's been a lot of death flags with Elinalese and Rudy's father, if something bad were to happen I'd guess it'd be them but who knows? Sometimes this show is upfront with our expectations and sometimes not so we could be surprised. I hope it's not the dad :[

| @StateofOhayo I agree that the hinted time lag is probably why Roxy is only now meeting her match (and suspect more lag will be part of what leads to the prophesied regret), but it's still awful contrived that the timing worked out that way. And this is back to back with Rudy having just the book for this labyrinth by accident. Now we do have literal gods pulling strings in this setting, so we can place it all on that, but the literal deus ex machina has always been one of my least favorite things about the show. It's lazy to make it blatant. I could see the rescue working cleanly with your theory that time is distorted in general if Roxy's room moves much much slower, giving a ton of time for a "last minute" save and about to cause a ton of problems. I think that's unlikely, though. |

| @Bio Yeah, this is also anime so it could certainly be a chain of super coincidental events back to back. Since I haven't read the original material I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe some details were not adapted and the result makes it seem that way. In any case, we'll probably have a more decent explanation next episode (or not). |

| Hundred percent God pulled some things in this episode lol haha, normally people wouldn't hear what's behind the rock. And It has already been pointed out that there are some flaws in the teleportation magic, particularly concerning time, in the previous episode. Well overall, it wasn't that bad episode. |

| @Qiou Considering the anime seems to be adapting 3 volumes per cour, this season will likely end at the end of a volume so it is highly unlikely the season will end on a cliffhanger. |

| The pacing is just off. Rudy finds out Roxy is missing, and it's all very dramatic. Then absolutely nothing happens in between (they kill a spider or something, that's not story). Then she's rescued immediately. All of it is ten minutes of screen time. You don't do it like this! At the very least "oh no she's missing" and "oh yes we saved her" should have been two separate episodes. |
| Amazing episode! I loved seeing Rudeus getting to reunite with all these people, and especially with Roxy at the end. Now I know for sure that the Man God was tripping, because if Rudeus hadn’t gone, he would’ve never seen Roxy again. Can’t wait for the next episode! (10/10) |
| Rudy finally meet his father Paul and their maid. And now he finally helped amd reunites with Roxy. Elinalise and Paul finally made up and that book rudy had was a big W for them. |

| Wow really, she's been lost in there for months, and they just so happen to find her at the exact moment she's about to die? Convenient. Please don't set her up as this badass mage, who survived here solo for so long, just have the first thing we see of her is her losing, cowering in fear, pissing herself, and immediately needing to be saved. It kind of takes away from the "she's a badass mage" look you were trying to sell 5 minutes earlier. |

| Mf Geese didn't look like being in a rush at all! Mf could have been more clear while writing that damn letter! Also leave it to Paul to ruin any potential heartfelt/emotional moment by going full horny mode. He had the chance to catch up and connect with the son he hasn't seen in years (even ask for the daughters he sent to him) and the first thing that comes to his mind is to ask MC about his sexual experiences with Sylphy smh. But well, at least it seems Paul has his days counted considering the amount of death flags he has been setting as of late. Not gonna lie, him dying by the end of this arc would give me great joy. Oh, and MC's third lover is finally here. The badass mage who fought waves and waves of monsters non-stop for a whole month but have to be conveniently reduced to an incontinent damsel in distress in order to have MC saving the day and somehow justify her eventually falling in love with him: her saviour. . . . Man, I sure was missing Roxy. Good to have her back. StateofOhayo said: Is this what the weird god meant but him cheating on sylphie? I hope not, I really don't want that kind of drama. Don't worry. Everything seems to point at Rudeus having multiple wives. And for better or for worse, Sylphy seems like the kind of girl who forgives everything her man does. |

| Ayoo lots of returning characters here like Geese who I thought was fun asf to watch with Paul as well and at the end looks like Rudy got to save Roxy who's lost in the Labyrinth and I'm pretty sure Rudy fulfilled Roxy's fantasy of meeting her fated lover in a labyrinth. |

| The Labyrinth City of Rapan is where Rudeus and Elinalise will find Geese and Paul, though the former is easily found first to report on Zenith's status. Rudeus finally meeting Paul after quite the while, he's even more disheveled than the last we saw of him. Him and Elinalise may still have bad relations, but I'm glad they made it up for the reconciliation. Getting onto Zenith's rescue mission, and what both Paul and Geese reported last sightings are even more treacherous, not to mention that Roxy fell into a teleportation circle within the labyrinth. This immediately shatters Rudeus's expectations that such a person like her should be able to solo any labyrinth, but this is the S-rank Teleporter Labyrinth they're talking about, which thanks to the book, they're able to decipher a lot more information. Lilia herself too is fine, and Rudeus sharing about his marriage to Sylphie, there's some resentment in that, not when Zenith is not in the picture. Tackling the Teleporter Labyrinth altogether with Talhand, Paul is actually still quite capable...to show off, not when this is Rudeus's first labyrinth. Going down the stratums seem easy, but there's danger every corner, at least for Rudeus who needs to handle monster attacks with delicacy. Thanks to the book, Paul's group is able to get far, but there's a part of it that he senses Roxy in another area solo-ing against monsters, that she finds it tough to face against and being backed to a corner in distress. The Holy Relic does its job lols, and the reunion between Rudeus and Roxy could not have been THIS perfect. |
