Shochiku opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Negi Haruba's Sentai Daishikkaku (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) manga on Tuesday, revealing the first visual (pictured) and a teaser video.

Keiichi Satou (Inuyashiki, Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis) is directing the television anime.

Haruba began drawing the action sci-fi manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in February 2021. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume on October 17, with the eighth volume scheduled to be released on December 16.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2021. The first volume went on sale on November 8, with the second volume set for a December 13 release.

Synopsis
Thirteen years ago, the Nefarious Monster Army invaded Earth, but humanity's great protectors, the Dragon Keepers, defeated them in a single year! Every Sunday since, the monsters have been forced to act out humiliating defeat after defeat in front of the unsuspecting public. Determined to change this, a single monster, D, infiltrated the Ranger Force. With the help of the mysterious Ranger, Yumeko Suzukiri, D managed to seize one of the divine artifacts—the only weapons capable of permanently killing the monsters' immortal bodies! However, D's subsequent encounter with the Dragon Keepers led to his unfortunate end, so who will stop them now...? (Source: Kodansha USA)

Probably because Negi is creator of best selling rom-com manga recently.

Yeah, direct translation of title is better than official.

Wow. Just when I was just starting to binge MMPR because of JDF's passing a few weeks ago, this manga gets anime adaptation with a catchy English title. The first couple of chapters didn't blow me away and I put it on hold. Hopefully the anime will get me to read the manga again

A premise too edgy and an author too weak, immediate out. Trying this post-superhero trend with Sentai is just dull.
Well I for one already loved Lain.
