This episode was okay, nothing too much stood out including that mech fight. One thing I will say that is Suletta seems to have improved her piloting and combat skills.

It does really feel like she's truly becoming stronger with each passing day and episode.

gg Shaddiq. The 6 v 6 battle was intense.

btw, Gundam Witch's Twitter account also changed its pfp to Gund-arm inc, as the company is officially established.

What an awesome G witch ep to cap off the weekend. Turns out Shadiq bit off more than he could chew lol. Even with all his scheming, couldn’t account for Aerial and Suletta’s bond. Animation and sound design during the fight were amazing as usual.

Felt bad seeing my boy Guel so down tho. Could tell he was chomping at the bit to get out there and help his boo in the 6v6, but the moral support was nice as well.

Can’t WAIT to see next week’s ep and to learn what exactly Prospera’s crying was about. You never know with her.

Gundam-related hashtags occupy six positions in top ten worldwide twitter trend! 1. Witch of Mercury 2. Gund-arm inc 3. Shaddiq 5. Aerial 7. Guel-kun (YES!) 10. Suletta

Anyway, nice episode, Shaddiq finally lay bare all of him, and Guel made some appearance. Since Miorine completely cut ties with Shaddiq, Shaddiq will be forced to team up with Guel, just like I want!

The battle against shaddiq was one by the Gundam team, and the comeback by aerial and suletta was pretty surprising. It made me believe in the power of Gundam.

This episode was a truly amazing spectacle. There was a little bit more revealed about the characters and their motivations, but the main focus was definitely the battle between Earth House and Grassley. There’s definitely hints with each passing episode as to what exactly Aerial is and what Lady Prospera is planning as well. I always have this sinking feeling inside when I realize I have to wait another 7 days for a new episode, but there are worst things to complain about than having to wait for another truly splendid episode!

The cold opening is set before episode 1 as Guel still has his Dilanza, less than the 26 wins, and an engagement with Miorine.

The Pharact that GUND-ARM Inc. acquired from Peil is still under maintenance and Guel is still held back by obidience to his father.
Four Earth House members who don't normally pilot will have to use Zoworts alongside Suletta and Chuchu.

Just as Aliya predicted in her fortune telling, Lilique had trouble with men.

If Gundams are permissible once more, then so are the Antidote weapons Grassley mobile suits previously used against Gundams.

Prospera's crying tears of happiness because she finally found a way to counter the antidote Grassley MS used on the Lfriths.

Saved by excellent Earthian sniper Chuchu!

This episode's end card was illustrated by Shirabii, whom you may know for Eighty-Six.

Good episode especially from the fight visuals and movements standpoint. The moral of the story is "Don't fuck with Earth house".

Also, what was up with the backup boyfriends bit?

What an unnecessary aggressiveness against Lilique. JUst saying that girl Shadiqq team girl is a big-S.

Well at least the 6 vs 6 was flag not annihilation match.

I interpret Prospera shedding a tear as " Damn! I'm so good at what I do.".

I guess Guel will join the rebel children camp.
And now what about Nika status.

Nothing like a good ol' fashioned team death match with mobile suits. It seems each girl in Shaddiq's harem has fans.
That's the beef Renee has with Lilique? Over Backup Boyfriend #12?!

Suletta taking them down after overriding anti-Gundam weapons and Chuchu with the headshot were spectacular moments.

I have been wondering if they are using live beam rifles in duels.

What if someone shoots the cockpit by accident?
Is the cockpit beam-resistant? Something I have wondering for some time~
In IBO, it is beam-resistant but the pilot will suffer from overheating from beams. In SEED, phase-shift armour blocks physical blade attacks. In 00, GN field block beams but physical blades can penetrate it.

Will continue to monitor this Gundam timeline technology.

Very cool fight from a choreogrophy standpoint, incredibly boring fight from a writing standpoint which I think ive just come to terms with has been this show overall. Outside the Elan fight its been pretty empty feeling cause theres never been any real stakes, they pretend they are, but its been so obvious Suletta and crew are always coming out on top and the duel format greatly limits variety.

At this point I'm not even desperate to see the setting move away from this I can accept that this is the show, its just I wish I actually gave a shit about anything happening here, its really just making me compare and contrast to how Build fighters was and how much weaker this has felt, I'd dare say theres been a far more interesting escalation and stakes in the show about plastic toys than this one with live weapons.

I honestly think this was just an afterthought on the writer's part and dont think we are getting any elaboration. Like I feel like even if in universe the duels are just dangerous but the companies dont care about their pilots we would of gotten more with that concept.

I'm starting to get sick at political affairs that needs to get disputed through duels, it's such a cheap plot device used to solve the stupidest of things without any effort. It would be better if we were talking about something worth fighting for, like oppression or something, but when all of this obstacles are put in Miorine's way through a random student that can add rules out of her flipping butt, it's nothing but a tool to drag things up and stretch this awful school section, like, flipping move things already, this turd isn't going anywhere at this point.

Also, Miorine's so damn dumb to ask for a team duel when most of her team has barely piloted anything, leading to an artificial desperate situation where Suletta is losing and can't use aerial because of some sort of EMP that affects only gundams, but suddenly she can and then she starts turning the tables with the power of gundam friendship. This is so damn cringe I can't even believe we're talking about Gundam here.

Whatever happened to the ruthless and crude Gundam?

In the prologue, Antidote is the weapon they used to make the Gundams stop working to kill the pilots. I can't imagine Prospera ever forgot that, and if Aerial was modified afterwards, there is no way Prospera wouldn't have created countermeasures. Perhaps the only way to know for sure if they worked was in battle, which led to the "fake tension." A better written story would have spelled all that out rather than leave gray areas you gotta consider. The slow build up to Okuichi craziness is a long one. I get your frustration.

Also Build Fighters OG is legitimately the best Gundam show, with THE best fanservice. It's not fair to compare the best show with one that still hasn't played all its cards.

A Code Geass style come from behind victory with minimal foreshadowing. Okuichi found another way to keep this monster of the week deal going forward. Almost every single Gundam show had a monster of the week format for some portion of their show. They have been more elegantly done, but it was still Scooby Doo at the end of the day. I'm excited because there are only 2 more people the school could pit against House Earth at this point. So the show will have to change formats.

With the way Eri and her home was done dirty trying to save lives, pretty soon I expect proper violence and subterfuge soon. We had a little bit with the Elan clone, but machinations should be starting for real soon.

To the Gundam fans that want the old Gundam....... it's old Gundam. Bandai has to keep selling their plastic, and they need new fans to keep the sales up. The point of this show is to be different. If nothing else, the plot is coherent, unlike G-Reco. Most Gundam shows take time to become great. G Gundam showed you can make a Gundam show about something different and still be great. Let this show get where it's going before you judge it.

It can fly! It can dance! Aerial! Never has there been a more convincing marketing scheme in human history. After that live stream of Suletta destroying a six versus one there shouldn't be any doubt about Aerial. She's a Gundam and she's a badass. So epic seeing Suletta have to dig deep to defeat Shaddiq and his crew. Chuchu was the only teammate of hers that could've done anything so I don't really blame the others for going out immediately. They're just engineers after all. Suletta almost clutched that victory herself, loved how Chuchu delivered the final blow but Suletta took multiple of them on at once was awesome. Her speaking with Aerial itself definitely leads credence to the idea that Aerial is some kind of living being inside the Gundam. Suletta basically had full conversation with Aerial in that battle. There's something more to Aerial which the show needs to reveal to us. Congrats to everyone at the new company. They can finally start getting to work and not thinking about hostile takeovers. Miorine has someone by her side whom will protect her.

Guel better start taking a stand for himself or he's on the banana boat to crap town. I was kind of hoping he would join the battle despite everything, but giving Chuchu time to shine was a pleasantly unexpected turn of events.

I honestly forgor about this Antidote mechanic from the prologue and thus was even more surprised there was a countermeasure.

Now that they have beaten all the big family branches in a duel, I can't really guess where another duel will become necessary. Lauda Neill seemed to have it out for Suletta, and they made sure to show that, but being the more rational in Jeturk House, I can't see him coming at her directly without a plan.

Well given recent events Guel really has to prove himself to not only himself but to his father as well. Im curious at why Nika is helping Shaddiq. Still Shaddiq has quite the harem guard squad huh. But I think this is the first time we get to see a team battle in a gundam series. Looks like each of the girls have their own sense of popularity within the school. As expected of Shaddiq's team though both their suits and the quality of their pilots was high. Plus their teamwork was top notch as well. Its also worth mentioning that Suletta's bond with Arial really is a curious one. Overall the dual was damm impressive though this fight showed more than anything that while Aerial is full of surprises the same could be said of Suletta's friends as well especially ChuChu. If only Shaddiq had been brave enough to ask for Miorine's hand in the beginning huh. Great ep as always that featured a nice balance of character expansion for Miorine, Shaddiq and Suletta as well as lore expansion via Aerial. The harem squad though really proved themselves in the dual so it will be nice to see them again.

This show has fallen off a bit for me personally because of a few things, firstly, I'm going to compare Suletta to Nagomi from Akiba Maid War here, in that they're both written in a way that will always see them getting bailed out by people, and not doing anything rather meaningful, at least to this point of the series. The silver lining that benefits Suletta here is that there will be more time to flesh her character out, with future cours coming.

The other issue I have is the structure of this academy and world in general, where the duels just seem like a plot device to advance the plot forward. I've never watched any Gundam series before this one, but from what I've heard, it was more ruthless back in the day than this.

At this point, I'll just chalk this cour up as buildup to something, and look to cour two for any semblance of meaningful sequences. Good effort on the audiovisual department though.

You make it sound like I'm complaining about things not being spoon fed to me, when in reality I'm more baffled as how the show tries to convince you of how close Suletta is to her Gundam which makes up for extremely cringe dialogue and on top of that, the stakes being dumbified thanks to it. Cool thing they have tools to EMP gundams and kill their pilots, Cool thing they added a countermeasure for it, why the heck do I have to digest such an off putting display then?

My main problem is more so how Suletta is as a Character and the overall structure of things, not things not being spoon fed to me, it's not a matter of understanding.

Suletta managed to clutch out another win by the skin of her teeth, but this one was EXTREMELY close. She activated another level of the revised GUND system, one that allowed her to overcome the GUND jammers from the prologue, but the Aerial is completely trashed now. There's clearly a number of secrets hidden within the Aerial, and I'm even more curious when we'll see them come to light.
Also, given that the stakes get higher and the damage is worse with every successive duel, I'm worried about what will happen when Suletta finally does lose. I fully expected the GUND jammers to be her limit, but overcoming that hurdle means that the rest of the galaxy will have its eyes on Suletta now- and thus, the consequences of losing will be higher than ever before.

Also, shoutout to Chuchu for real! She took on the best non-Gundam pilot at the school for several minutes, on her own, in a standard-issue mobile suit, and WON! (albeit with the rest of Earth House supporting her mobile suit at the end, but that kind of piloting and sniping skill is definitely nothing to scoff at.)

Ok, in the name of all sanity and logic, why would Miorine call for a team duel? To show the world that a Gundam can win 1v6? If that is the level of brains she has, there is no wonder her father would not consult with her about anything :D

I understand calling a duel, it makes sense to expect Suletta would probably never lose 1v1. But a team duel where she has neither the pilots, nor the mechs? Really bad writing this episode. -1 to overall score, worst episode so far.

Another phenomenal episode. Guel is starting to turn around, Shaddiq shows his true NTR colors, Suletta once again shows that she's the best pilot head and shoulders above everyone, despite using GUND bits as her primary weapon source. Nika being a spy makes for a great drama instigator, when Earth House finds out she's been in cahoots with one of the 3 Branches the others esp Chu-Chu are gonna lose it. Miorine showing she's the brains of the group while Suletta is the brawns.

And Suletta not forgetting to advertise her own company was hilarious. Excellent PR and a sick taunt to Shaddiq at the same time.

Looks like Guel is hard at work for something, he's been trying non stop and even getting 8 wins lol.

Shiddaq is still stalking Miorine for the Gundam INC thing, but Miorine refuses to give it. Shiddaq wants so badly to take over the company which they JUST started bruh, Shiddaq even went out of his way to start an team battle or some sort against Earth House.

Nika secretly meeting with Shiddaq, that's a thing you don't see all the time.

Suletta encountering Guel was a funny one. Suletta asking Guel for assistance but Guel is not allowed to fight because of his losses and because his Father told him but later on his Father has some sort of plan or something, I wonder if that was for in the 6v6 battle.

Shiddaq still being an shithead and stalker against Miorine and even telling Miorine to call of the duel, smh. I'm glad that Miorine sees what for ugly plans that Shiddaq really has.

Suletta seeing Shiddaq is an really interesting encounter.

Earth House prepare for battle and its ready to go, the Earth people really are going against them quick but most of the Earth people get taken down quickly and the Earth team ends up losing 4 people in the match already and its not going so good for the earth people. With only a few remaining Chu tries to stop one of them but ends up failing sadly as well. Suletta now being surrounded by the other team feels defeat upon her even to the point of Aerial shutting down completely due to the other stupid team shitty tactics, Suletta feels that Aerial is angry but Suletta is not about to give up so easily so she ends up wanting to try it herself and see what she can do and that's nice to see, Aerial came back online and is alive again and Suletta doesn't want to disappoint Miorine and the rest, that's wholesome. Suletta ends up destroying some of the other teams machines/gundams while Shaddiq remains. Aerial's one foot got shot down so now Aerial is sitting on the ground unable to move and Suletta almost sees her defeat upon her because Shaddiq is about to end the match but something unexpected happens, Shaddiq gets his gundam head shot off by someone else, holy shit, Shaddiq members literally betrayed him lol, good for you. Shiddaq doesn't even trust his own people and he for sure felt that defeat hard. What an awesome team battle.

With the battle being over their Gundam Inc skyrocketed in views, good for them. Sad moment with Aerial and Suletta. Shiddaq finally leaves Miorine alone.

All in all an interesting episode and the team battle match was amazing.

overall loved this episode. was a touch underwhelmed with last weeks episode, but this one brought back the energy that I was missing. plenty of character development and exploration this episode. the exchange between shaddiq and suletta about miorine before the fight was a highlight of the episode. and the fight proper was stunning. gorgeous environments, lighting, and animation all on point. i was on the edge of my seat the whole time. and of course the mystery of the aeriel grows more tantalizing with every episode. if i had to critique anything, I'd say it was hard to keep track of all the characters in the fight, mostly because half of them we literally just met. overall, 8.5/10 episode.
