Communities, servers ,groups, w.e you wanna call it. How often do you get banned/kick from places ,you're free to talk about real life communities or places you have been kicked out of in person.

Bonus question: What was the dumbest reason you got banned from somewhere?

I was only kicked once. It was a Godzilla PS4 Community that some kid made and advertised in a bigger community (so was looking for others to join). The owner I sort-of knew from other Godzilla Communities (I was in a couple of them). I either was invited by one of my friends (or joined myself, I don't remember?), but I invited some of my friends and tried to add the owner and talk to him. But after a brief talk with him, he kicked me & unfriended me. I don't think I was outright banned though, I could have rejoined, but I didn't want to cause a feud, but I think he was just a dumb kid, maybe he thought I wanted to be a moderator or something? (which I didn't). No big loss though, his community was shit and he changed it many times. I just felt bad asking my friends to join it.

I don't think I've ever been banned anywhere.

Oh, wait, I did get banned once and it is probably the dumbest reason I can think of too as it was a fake GoT spoiler I was joking about with some other user, and a moderator who was probably really into the show thought we were being serious.

Never really; I'm pretty careful in any community in which I have a visible presence in.
On a certain anonymous image board though... well I may or may not have had my IP address banned many many times and counting for a little shitposting here and there.

I have been banned a few times on the Steam forums, by 'scam' developers that put early access assets flips games on the Steam store. I always get very quickly banned by those 'scam' developers when I gave them criticism or show proof of assets flips.

Most of those games are now removed from Steam. Only moments when I got banned from certain forums. Not by Valve, but by the 'scam' developers.

It might be foreign to you all, but I am, in fact, an upstanding human being. I don't spam the n-word or anything (so long as I'm winning the argument). So not so often. I have gotten a few warnings when I was younger and got embroiled in the now-extinct drama side of MAL. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. But it's all behind me now.

only once so far and it was AnimeSuki forums, i got banned from putting spoilers on spoiler tags thats how ridiculously strict their forum rules are, the moderator said to me that i cannot put spoilers of different anime even on spoiler tags so spoiler tags should be strictly only use for the specific anime being talked about

and if getting hacked counts then a local tech forum banned my account since it made scam threads well that forum is now dead anyway

Only once, from YouTube, back in 2020, but I wasn't alone on getting banned. A bunch of users got the hammer throw at us.

A bit of background, I and many others were subs to two channel of survivors, exposing, talking about our ordeals et cetera. One channel was made by two SRA survivors, both from England, a woman and a man. The two channels were set up to encourage other survivors to speak up/expose and trying to heal our wounds.

The channels were very low key, flying under the radar, way under the radar of everything/everyone.

Embolden by this opportunity some users started to say too much, started naming too many persons, giving too much accurate info, of locations, names, dates et cetera.
That of course didn't sit well with the powers at be, the channels/users got the hammer for b.s reason, the reason I got was "your account xxxxx was banned for multiple breach of YouTube TOS" et cetera. 😂 What? Anyway I had that account since 2009 and never had a single strike and out of the blue a had "multiple breach of YouTube TOS" LMAO, okay.

The owners of the channel decided to move to other places, Bitchute, Rumble, but it wasn't the same. A lot of us got scared off and we got the message.

And that friends is how I was banned for the first and so far only time.

Committing Defamation is a bannable offense on Youtube. They even have a Defamation Complaint Requirements page where you can submit Defamation Reports.

LMAO, defamation, and who decided that? Which court of law, on what judgment they decided that? Last time I saw Epstein was guilty.

As far as I know to do that you need to sue someone for defamation for that to take effect. And a defamation lawsuit can be very challenging since a complainant must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that an accused person defamed them publicly and that they incurred losses.

FYI, I never mentioned anyone by name, I only gave, general locations names (City names et cetera) and dates. I never said any real people names. So tell me again which TOS I breached?

Online -> Actually I haven't been banend anywhere, sometimes got kicked but always get back as it was usually a banter manners.

In real life I am actually banned by my ID and past Car Registration Number to enter one of the hotel/renting vacation wooden houses area in Józefów [Jeziorna region] - Reason: I've been with my crew and we get there for drinking party, and they decided to ban us because we were playing darts and the wooden doors looked like Cheese with holes, cause there was no actual damage to rented area, nothing else has happened outside the amount of alcohol drank and the ban got only drivers so me and one of my buddies who was a driver from the second car.
Outside this I was also kicked from a bar by "accident" by bodyguard. Someone who was standing close to me dropped the glass full of beer and bodyguard kicked me thinking that it was me, but after a short time I went back and it got explained that he kicked the wrong person and that's it.

Nothing else has happened like I don't break that much of online rules, especially in IRL places, I do follow the rules and I do respect them.

Depends on the community. I was part of a Counter Strike 1.6 community ages ago, and I got banned there like 50 times. There were a myriad of reasons why, but the main reason was the fact that you could pay money to become an admin. To make things worse, there was also a rule against shit talking admins. You could pretty much get anyone banned by giving the owners a small amount of money.

Good thing I was banned because the moderator happens to be a member of Portugal's Neo-N*zi movement in real life. Yeah, he is a living riot.

Most recent ban: Banned from /his/ for 48 hours for using one of those AI things to turn Rosalia Lombardo into anime which I admit was a bit too edgy even for me.

Not-my-faultest ban: Banned from a few boards on 4chan for using Tor (didn't know they had that policy).

Weirdest ban: Same as the above but I didn't actually use Tor. Apparently something about dynamic IP.

Mod-is-a-bitch ban: Banned from a server on BF3 because the admin banned everyone placed above him in the scoreboard. Also reshufled the teams because they where losing.

Most can't-really-complain-about-it ban: Banned from playfire for anti christian posts and anti semitism. I was 13 and a raging atheist communist (most cringe phase of my life. I eventually returned to Jesus) and I was blaming christians for destroying ancient greek culture. Also blamed the jews for inventing christianity and importing inferior jewish culture and architecture to Greece (later I found out that early christian and byzantine architectures are very obviously continuations of Roman architecture so not only I was annoying but also wrong). You know, I'm all for free expression but in that case I was never on topic and probably broke half their rules so I don't complain.

Those are all the bans I can remember in all the years I've been on the internet. After I went through the cringe phase of my life I stayed relatively controversy free and my bans have not been my fault. Except the one on /his/.
