Today's episode was amazing, very good a full fight episode, but the bell could have used the double grip but using the firebolt on the sword was cool too.
Cool that Haruhime can give the boost to 5 people now, imagine the bell getting the boost now.
The only bad thing about the episode being leaked today is that Thursday has one less anime to watch.

I’ve given JC staff so much flak over the past few years for how bad the Danmachi adaptation has been, but this was perfection. Legitimately could not have asked for a better ep.

From haruhime’s spell, to lili finding the strength to not abandon her friends to Argo vesta and the fight with the enhanced monster.. just perfect. Animation, art and voice acting were incredible today. I really hope they keep this going forward.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

They did this fight better than I expected, really cool to see Bell pulling up those moves, and the OST has been doing its thing this season for sure.
Since ep6 also leaked, I got to see where it adapts, and it sucks but I guess we will need to wait till episode 7 to get Ryu in full time...

And it was, it was just that the final strike was less visualy impressive than the action scenes that lead prior to it.
Also this is only the beggining of this season, in the whole spectrum of what will happen, this fight will appear minor to the real stuff, cant wait.

YELP, indeed this and next episode got leaked pretty badly, and it's pure RAWs, not french-subbed nor the fansubs.

That said, Haruhime's magic power that has been in training with Aisha in secret for quite awhile, to see the full extent certainly is befitting of her "Ninetails"-like power boost, powering people for every tail. Of course, this comes with the caveat that it's a one-time use for last resort as the ace-in-the-hole.

But without them knowing, it's most certainly helping the Moss Huge grow larger, and all that effort was for naught with Aisha being its latest victim to get the parasite, save for the others' attacks that only renders its immortality even further. With monsters surrounding them at ever corner, the end moment comes if they don't act fast. Dormul and gang certainly would not relent to risk their lives if it means getting the Hestia Familia party out of the dungeon's Lower Floor.

All that's left now, rests on Lili's decision as the strategist, and when all hope seems lost, Bell came back on the laurels of his strongest Firebolt ever for a 1-on-1 fight against the enhanced Moss Huge that for a Level 4, he's been training for this moment to be even faster, to match those of the minotaur Asterius's level, and with Welf's custom-made magically-imbued knife for a one-hit KO strike of Argo Vesta (Heroic Slash of Holy Flame), the Moss Huge is finally defeated.

This is most certainly one of J.C.Staff's shining episodes in the franchise to add to the name of awesome and incredibles.

They're not doing a bad job at JC Staff, but god watching this episode you really want to imagine what Ufotable, Mappa or some other top studio could have done with this. Some of the animation was rather limited to be honest.

The next arc is going to be amazing

Another solid ep.

Lili really has come into her own as a character, far from what she used to be since we met her.

Bell's fight with the Moss Huge wasn't too visually impressive but I'm not gonna give it much flack.

But damn, I'm impressed JC really did a bang up job givin volume 12 a good 5 eps cause I expected it to be rushed. At this point I can't imagine they would go out of their way to rush vols 13 and 14 so maybe it's safe to say this season really is a 2 cour.

I'm so hyped for what comes next.

Haruhime’s Uchide no Kozuchi or whatever is like a super level booster huh? But man, this Moss Huge is a smart bastard. He lured the gang in and had them kill the crabs for their magic crystals. Sneaky!

My girl Aisha got hit and Welf with his Koga didn’t even do shit except wreck his sword. Things REALLY weren’t looking good for the team at that point. I really love how much Lili has stepped up though. Leave no man behind! Bell really just made it in time too. Let’s go Bell!

This big bastard was getting slapped around for once. Bell’s movements are much more precise and he’s a lot more agile. Dude’s really coming into his own in the lower floors! He took on the Iguaza and the Minotaur, this Moss Huge ain’t shit! And then there it was, his trusty Firebolt! Lol the big guy tried to run too. He knew he was totally fucked. Hell yeah Bell! That’s our Little Rookie.

Well another really intense episode but in the end Bell saved the day he did have some help finding his group tho.
It's also ice the see that Haruhime learned some useful skill to help out the group even if it's something that takes a long time to cast and can only be used in a emergency.
Now lets hope this group reaches the surface safely seeing they have a large group to care for.

So should I pretend I didn't notice level five Aisha didn't stand a chance against that monster, but the same monster couldn't land a single attack on level four Bell?

This episode was disappointing.

i liked the episode even tho the power scaling of the group and bell seemed off. 1 firebolt was enough to kill all the fodder monsters against which the main group was about to loose not to mention Aisha being pretty much useless against the moss huge even tho she got buffed hard by haruhime.

The Moss Huge is physically stronger than Bell but its slower, thats why Bell could fight it. Aisha even as a Level 5 is slower than Bell. Also, Bell only won because of Argo Vesta, he couldnt beat the Moss Huge otherwise.

And while Bell is a Level 4 he isnt a normal one, he was already a mid level 4 before adapting to his status. And while Level Boost Aisha was technically a Level 5, she wasnt used to that power.

Aisha was caught off guard and got hit by the parasitic plant. Bell on the other hand is a type of fighter that could handle the attack better and so was more suited than Aisha at fighting the Moss Huge. There’s also the fact Bell’s stats went over the limit at previous levels so he could have gotten like an extra level.

I don't know. I just can't put up with the fact a full power level four is stronger than a mid level five.

I mean, even a weaker level 5 should be stronger than a full power level four, otherwise the entire levels thing would be bullsh#t.

I wonder if in the future Haruhime will get 9 tails. So 9 boosts.

The dungeon wanted so much see that fight that got a arena close by.

Next episode I need to see the moss huge crystal. If isn't the size of a small car I will disappointed.Or small, but very shiny.

When they cut to that frozen frame, Aisha must had passed out from blood loss.

seems like some guys didn't pay attention on story 👀
Bell was SSS rank before he updated his statuses to LV 4.
So that means he's basically a mid Level 4 adventurer even before he updated his statuses to Level 4.

And Argo Vesta is Hestia knife + Firebolt + Argonaut.
Argonaut itself is pretty rare and overpowered Skill.

If didn't win with that, that won't make any sense.

not just from his level 4. Include the level 1-3 SSS stats and he's easily on par with a level 5

Finally started this season last weekend and caught up just in time, it seems, for this climactic episode. The rest of the group didn't stand a chance against the enhanced monster but thankfully Bell came in to save the day. The action sequences in this episode, throughout the fight and leading up to Bell's finishing blow, were fire.

I've been enjoying this season so far more than the previous seasons so I'm looking forward to seeing whats coming after this.

Grimoires huh seems somewhat of a doubled edged sword in this world. While it has a long casting time Haruhime's ability is simply amazing not to mention pretty. Being one that enhances the effect of her other unique ability is a great bonus as well. Though its effect is only brief its effect on the field is devastating. But Moss huge sure managed to outthink them. I didn't think it could get any bigger and more powerful thats for sure. Lili's determination to change herself and prove to Bell that she's worthy of standing by him as a comrade really is admirable. Bell's return sure was timely. Its ironic that its his time trying to survive in the lower levels that Bell's been able to refine his moves and transform himself once more. But man the moss's regen speed is just disgusting. But man Bell's fight against the moss sure was impressive. Wish it was longer but given how tired Bell was it was fine. Its good that they managed to cover v14 more or less perfectly. Now on to Ryu's arc in v15.

Bell has finally rejoined and finally defeated that Moss Huge monster and Haruhime's new ability gave everyone a huge level boost. Lili's decision to hold her ground payed off despite the entire party being surrounded by monsters. I guess its time to go back to the surface since Aisha and Mikoto got banged up.

The worst part about the Level-Boost Level 5 being weaker than a Full Power Level 4 in this episode is creates a plot hole in this series.

Do you remember when Level-Boost Level 4 Bell defeated Full Power Level 4 Aisha in season 2? According to this explanation, he shouldn't even stand a chance against a Full Power Level 3 (so a real Level 4 like Aisha...) because, apparently, Level-Boost raises a level, but not at all.

I'm sorry, but today's episode script has just lazy writing.

Bell and Aisha were both level 3 when they fought for the second time in season 2. Only difference is that she was a peak level 3 and bell was a fresh level 3. He was only level boosted when he fought Phryne that frog woman, then waited before his level boost wore down to fight Aisha without it. Re watch that fight again or better read volume 7 of the light novels, it should be at the last chapter where you can find the fight. In addition to that bell over levels each time he ranks up with SS or SSS Stats since level 1 thanks to his Realis Freese growth skill. Meaning has a stronger foundation of stats with each level up making stronger than most people within the same level as himself and can even match up to a person above his current level with good effort. So bell as a fresh level 4 as stated was upper tier strength wise level 4 and peak level 4 speed wise without getting used to his new level up. But after the Iguazu fight in the lower levels his new acclimated body can take on fresh to lower end level 5 threats well enough. He'd still currently lose to a high end Level 5, and definitely lose against a level 6.

Another bad episode, who cares this monster, who cares this characters. There isn'T depth to anything, there isn't anything interesting about world or characters. Who cares random mob they kill each episode which they wasted 5 episode on this. Why they even bothering adapting this trash?

Same plot for 4 seasons straight, now you understand why people dropped this show long ago.

Not for nothing, but Haruhime's spell, realistically, takes way too long to cast. And, I guess it just gave her AoE? I was expecting something far more impressive.

And, Jesus fucking Christ, as if Moss Huge couldn't get any worse -- I've seen enough hentai to know where this is headed.

Bell's grand entrance was actually a bit underwhelming for me. But, if nothing else, his victory over Moss Huge was fairly impressive.

I guess to each his own right? This anime has 4 season for a reason though, and it's well deserved in my opinion, and I do believe it's had a diverse plot. I don't see this revolving around the Xenos, or about waring Familias like other seasons. I really don't understand what you mean by "same plot".

I don't really see what was epic about this battle. Bell jumps around the monster and hits him with his dagger. It sounds like he is kicking an iron barrel. Monster can't care less, he just looks at him indifferently. Ho cuts, no regeneration, no blocking - nothing. Bell looks like a moron. Then he decides to use his ultra mega secret new spell he didn't use before because of reasons.

There were two asspulls in this episode - Haruhime's and Bell's. And both were completely unnecessary for the story. Does author think it is cool or something? It is the prime example of bad writing.

And Lili makes strategic decision "thank you for your noble sacrifice, but we are gonna die here and now anyway". That was amazing indeed. That's Leeroy Jenkins level of strategizing. That's why they pay strategists big bucks - to sacrifice people for no reason.

The whole expedition was a giant waste of time. One pointless forgettable battle after another. Fake drama with zero tension.

It is very difficult to make battle interesting. Characters hit each other until one of them dies. There is no logic behind it, it just happens for the sake of the story. If there are insurmountable odds MC will level up or pull a new amazing spell out of his ass or someone will help him or bad guy will slip on a banana peel. Levels are bullshit, abilities too. At least try to make the story around battles interesting. Battles are just expensive time fillers, they are not the story.

Haruhime's AoE style level up boost was very impressive and it gave the team a much needed boost in their battle. However, their fightback benefited Moss huge as it gained more crystals to gobble up, transforming in the process that the others, not even Aisha, could get the better of despite the level boost due to the unbalance of the boost within herself.

Thankfully, Bell made his grand entrance and faced off against Moss huge in a 1v1. My expectations for this battle was met with ease as it had some strong animation quality and a solid OST to back it up. Bell's final move, Argo Vesta, looked slick and epic as he used it to finish off Moss huge once and for all.

With the fight over, Marie made a quick appearance to thank Bell and also added "I love you!" before she departed. I hope we can get to see her again soon. =)

Overall, this episode was very good. Hopefully it won't be long before we see another battle with some stellar fluid animation quality again.

you fail to understand that they need to master their body that leveled up and a lot of times they cannot fully control their level up body because its too strong for them at the moment and their mind is not yet familiar/accustomed with a sort of new body, its a mind and body gap coordination just like the hand and eye coordination in real life

I'm sorry, but today's episode script has just lazy writing.

It doesnt create plot holes, you just havent payed enough attention.

1- Back in Season 2, Aisha was still a level 3 and Bell didnt fought her with Level Boost, he waited until it ran out.

2- Bell isnt a normal Level 4. Thanks to Liaris Freese he can break the limit of stats and reach SS and SSS stats. When leveling up previous stats dont simply dissapear, they stack up with his current status. Because of the insane amount of stats he has accumulated in past levels, his current power output is already comparable to a top level 4, and speed comparable to a Level 5. This is why he could beat Hyakhintos as a Level 2 or fight against an injured Asterius as a Level 3.

3- Bell defeated the Moss Huge with Argo Vesta and i will have to remind you that Argonaut has always been broken as fuck. As a Level 2 he could damage the Level 5 Black Goliath with a full charge (and kill it with Limit Off) or instakill Level 2 monsters with low charges. As a Level 3 he could damage the Level 5 Lyd or force Level 4 Dix to break his curse so he could return to his Level 5 status and survive Argonaut. Since then Argonaut has grown stronger and Argo Vesta is even stronger than the regular one.

So yeah, there really arent plot holes as Bell is one of the rare few adventurers (and the only one alive right now) that can surpass the level barrier.

So yeah, there really arent plot holes as Bell is one of the rare few adventurers (and the only one alive right now) that can surpass the level barrier.

1- Actually Aisha was Level 4 and her status is locked at this level since Ishtar returned to Tenkai. I read the novel.

2- Another reason why power level is bullsh#t in Danmachi. How can I take seriously a series that doesn't take seriously its own power system.

3- My problem if this episode wasn't this moment, but everything that happened before that.
