| Jesus Christ, they're not fooling around this season. That underground is filled with dangers and monsters. Poor Hitachi getting caught in the mess... Bell and his party ran into some serious risks this episode and everyone knew it. This was a very eerie episode imo where everyone's lives were at stake. |

| Out of the 3 episodes so far, this feels pretty much like peak J.C.Staff with the action. The Lower Levels aren't a joke, and like the enhanced species that got Chigusa the last episode that put her on a stranglehold of the green moss all over her body, and when stronger monsters kill lackey monsters, the Great Falls is an area where survival is NOT guaranteed, even if people are very careful. Unlike getting hit by mere monsters and getting healed by potions, the magic stone-consuming enhanced species are literate parasites sucking on the user's body for nourishment, and Chigusa is in grave danger. Bell in desperate need of ideas to heal those affected (even outsiders), and as Cassandra namely optioned, to leave the dungeon and find an experienced Familia would be the best option...or hunt down the Moss Huge monster that hunts adventurers for their magic stones for an endless walking human buffet, which would be pure suicide. But after learning Luvis's plight, it's the suicide option that works the best, for to kill it eliminates the penetration source at the root. The intriguing thing is that there's no news about it, and since no adventurer would want to risk their lives being it's buffet meal, the supply weighs the same demand of being a trap, not to mention the Moss Huge's intelligence for Luvis's friends being fodder. Bell's party managing between the Moss Huge and mere monsters, it's clear that it's a heavy heft with the former dragging Bell down to the depths of the Great Falls. Even with the party missing Bell, they ultimately have to move on with precise strategy from Lili, and have faith that he is still alive. As for Bell...yup, he managed to survive the drop of chasm...and the swordfish-bird-like Iguazu (which Eina has reminded him to watch out for), this is the reality of the Lower Floors. Dormul's party that escaped while scathed by Moss Huge, plus Bell's fight and this mermaid that seems to be impressed by his skills...who exactly is she? Definitely the most intense episode by far, and if this is just the start, this could very well be on par with Season 3. |

| They're doing a great job adapting this novel. Yeah the CGI is a bit cheap but they get everything else right. And looks as stunning as described in the novel. Well done JC Staff |

| An intense episode but that was to be expected after last weeks cliffhanger. It seems the trust between the party has improved but they still have some things to work on at least Lily might the right decision after Bell got lost from the group. The question now is how are they going to get back with everything that's going on. It seems like joining forces with some other parties is a good idea but the one who has the biggest problem here is Bell seeing as he is alone. Maybe the mermaid will be of some help if she is friendly that is. |
| As if the green troll wasn't powerful enough it had to have a parasitic attack as well. But the troll using the parasites to sustain itself while draining its victims was such a scary move. In this situation being able to keep a level head as Bell is a vital. More so when combined with the sharing and analysis of intel by Lili as well. That was quite the trap that the moss prepared for them. Though Bell getting swept away was bad at least they were able to save the hostages making that a partial victory. Its good that Lili was able to switch back to strategist mode despite her concern for Bell. Her plan really was gutsy. Bell being able to take on that blizzard by himself really was amazing. Nice to finally meet Marie. |

| Man what an episode. JC staff are doing a phenomenal job with this adaptation so far. Animation wasn’t quite as good today but the story and pacing were perfect. Bell being separated from everyone is going to help him grow a lot. |

| That big Miss Huge bastard from last week ate the crystals from the monsters? It’s definitely not a “regular” monster. Thing basically cast leech seed on Chigusa and Luvis. It’s setting traps and shit too, crafty bastard. Dragging Bell into the water and then basically launching him out that waterfall was smart. Bell is becoming a pretty good leader. He’s not arrogant and he’s willing to listen and admit when he doesn’t know something. Lili has done well as the strategist, too. For the most part she’s been pretty levelheaded. Just as Bell survives that waterfall he encounters those damn Iguazu. Little shits were like bullets. But damn dude, I’m impressed Bell went full on Fruit Ninja on those things. That was fast as hell. He really is getting very strong as a fighter. I’m very curious to see more of this mermaid waifu next week. I wonder if she’s a friend or foe since they’re so far down in the dungeon. The monsters here are a whole other level… even the “weak” ones are tough af. |
| animation quality slightly drop already especially on the fighting scenes but that is fine i do not expect DanMachi to be consistent with animation quality anyway Bell is now separated from his party but he met the mermaid in the OP and that Moss Monster is really mysterious |
| Wow. Bell got separated from his party and almost fell to his death down a huge waterfall. It's solo dungeon crawling time for Bell while the rest of his party regroups with some of the survivors from the lower floors. Bell manages to hold his own against an army of flying monsters only to find a mermaid watching him. I just hope the mermaid is not as annoying as Winne from Season 3. |

| This was a great but intense episode. I must say that the animation and soundtrack where phenomenal. The action scenes were fluid and it felt the same as the previous seasons, even better I think. Anyway, Bell fell off but suprisely ended up save down there until he got attacked by those fast as fuck birds. Which might not be that bad, he found a fucking mermaid out of nowhere. One thing I like so much about Bell is his combat skills. It's not just throwing magic spells left and right, enchanting himself with boosts and stuff like that. |

| The past two seasons were lackluster imo so I'm glad that this season is picking up the action I wanted to see. I feel bad for Luvis' friends being fodder for that creepy Moss Huge. The mermaid clapping at Bell was cute tbh. Things are getting interesting so I'm excited for this season! |

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |

| Dude am i the only one tearing up with these episodes? I always get so excited i start crying with how cool the fights are and what they mean to the story itself. But this season is crazy so far, Bell is not only a super good fighter, but a super capable leader able to assess a situation and even ask his team for suggestions and go off them. lily being the strategist means she's no longer this (for a lack of a better term) kind of useless side "love interest" to this really useful strategist, like i love her character but this makes me really enjoy her character as a whole, with this new season they really do change her for the better (in my opinion). Also the fight animations are incredible, you can just put season one fights next to season four fights and see the difference, not something you can say for a lot of shows that have fights. |
| Great episode. That Moss monster was brutal and cunning to use adventures to get magic stones. Bell was really cool in fights, especially with those flying birds. Really showing his growth. Also, Lili got the hang of her new role as a strategist. |

| Lili is doing much better as a strategist than i expected. These quicc birds remind me of the annoying birds from Ninja Gaiden that keep spawning and are a pain to dodge and kill. Mermaid waifu let's go!  |

That's great to here! I fought my way through s2 and dropped s3. So far 4 has a different feel to it. I'm loving it. |

| Holy Shit Moss Huge are no joke. This monster are not only strong, stealing magic stones and also able to set a trap? Animation fight scene was really good, this episode is intense. Mermaid? Bell gonna pick up another girl in the dungeon again. Hey the title of the Anime lol |

| Moss Huge has certainly proved to be a crafty and smart monster with the way it gets magic stones from other weaker monsters or attacking adventuring parties that it knows it can win against. Bell's group are having a tough time against it, but at the very least, the group were able to rescue Luvis' party. While Bell was dragged away by Moss Huge before it retreated again, leaving Bell to being swept into a different area on the floor, he had to deal wil another annoying enemy, the Iguazu. These birds were lightning fast with their dive bomb attack, but Bell went full-on YOLO and took them on and won. It felt satisfying with how he killed the last bird, too. After that hard fight, he was applauded by a nude mermaid, the lucky bastard! XD This was another great episode. The animation was still very good, although the first fight against Moss Huge last week still being the best animated fight so far in this fourth season. At the very least, J.C Staff has been pretty consistent and that does make me happy. =) |
| Holy, this was a captivating episode fr, nothing like the past 2. The Moss monster did a great job of trapping them, but they did manage to stand their ground and rescue Luvis's squad. It was also nice to see Bell take action against the Iguazu, and finally, the anime is going to live up to its title once again with the mermaid. |
| I see the show's title is still plenty relevant, we got ourselves a mermaid. I've always loved Danmachi, but this season has been exceptional so far. Moss Huge be scheming, like damn, what a dick. It's really intelligent and it's not even a Xenos. Them Iguazu's were cool, but Bell was cooler, that was a sick scene. |
