 The Konosuba Channel Special Program confirmed the new anime as third season and revealed staff and a teaser visual (pictured) on Saturday. (Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!), also known by its short name Konosuba, adapts Natsume Akatsuki's comedy fantasy light novel, which he originally penned on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from December 2012 to October 2013. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Sneaker Bunko label that month, featuring illustrations by Kurone Mishima (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records). The light novel ended with the 17th volume in May 2020. Konosuba has a cumulative 10 million copies of its volumes in circulation. Masahito Watari began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Dragon Age in September 2014. Kadokawa published the 15th volume on May 9. Studio Deen produced two television anime seasons in Winter 2016 and 2017, each running for ten episodes. The Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!: Kurenai Densetsu (Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! - Legend of Crimson) anime film by J.C.Staff opened in Japan in August 2019, adapting the fifth volume. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime series with subtitles and debuted an English dub for both seasons in January and February 2019, respectively. Discotek Media licensed both seasons and original video episodes and released them on home video in May 2020 and February 2021. Yen Press licensed the light novel and spin-off in English and published the 16th volume on April 19 and second spin-off volume in July 2020. | Hopefully, Kanasaki is still involved for atleast a good extent of the production even though he is the supervisor now. The staff somehow worked it out even at Deen so Drive shouldn't be a huge problem and off-model art isn't something new for Konosuba. Atleast Mr. Saggy Tits is back. |

| Ok. This is the third studio change for this series (from DEEN to J.C.Staff to Drive). Hopefully, the new studio will have satisfying results but since the director is here to stay I'm somewhat satisfied. |

| For as popular as this is, I'm surprised season 3 hasn't come sooner. What surprises me even more is that it's getting a new studio. I feel like Deen should keep this, thanks to their often wonky looking animation. It helped add to the comedy. Hopefully Drive can emulate that. |

Well I guess that's something one wouldn't notice unless they've read the light novel which is like most of us. As for someone who has both read and watched the series (still reading) I guess you have two totally different worlds to enjoy if you don't compare them to each other that is. |
