| Heh, this was actually quite amusing when comparing Kongming and Eiko. Two characters with a lot of difference... However, Eiko behaves like how a normal girl would at her age. She also seems to enjoy playing a guitar and surfing social media. Kongming's reactions to modern technology is comedy gold. I mean, this show really hits different when you compare the two characters. Fun start so far if you ask me. |

| ABEMA & HIDIVE early streaming. P.A. Works' VERY FIRST manga adaptation, and it's an Isekai with a take on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms with Chancellor Zhuge Liang a.k.a Kongming being the reincarnated being descending into Japan, specifically Shibuya. And being smitten by the "Hell" songstress Eiko Tsukimi (VA Kaede Hondo of Majo no Tabitabi's Elaina, Takt Op. Destiny's Anna) to learn the modern ways while infusing the old tradition, Kongming is taking things as history stands for millenia gone. Eiko on her guitar has this "Carole and Tuesday" feel, which I can't be more happy to hear Kaede Hondo's elegant voice. And Kongming...since he's unemployed, he has to find a job, of which the bar that Eiko is working at, the owner Kobayashi has an inept interest to hire him whilst Kongming tries to grasp everything about modern music EDM-style. In exchange, Kongming offering to draw his wisdom to motivate Eiko who turned from a suicidal person to being a subpar talented singer, he's ready to help her all the way with his tactical wisdom to spread her music far and wide. HAH, tactics X music? This experiment will be fun to watch! Also, 96Neko's ED is dance bopping banger! To have Spring start early with a somewhat unknown work but impressive start like this, I expect NOTHING but the best. This is comedy gold at its finest. |

| I DIDN'T KNOW THE ANIME IS OUT TODAY LMAO, there are currently 12-13 chapters available in english translated so it's going to be quite hard for me to caught up with the latter. SO FAR THIS IS DEFINITELY A LOT MORE SUPERIOR BY THE MANGA, and I'm really stunned by the visuals expected by P.A. But gonna say though this is so interesting, so Liang got isekaid into their youth self and went to some very tokyo vibe world, all the random dudes just started inviting him over to some crowded party lmao and we get to see girl name Eiko singing, and her first song debut was pretty good! I like her horns and she's fucking beautiful. Also seems like Liang gotta get used to the modern technologies and other things that the world has to offer lol. The history of Liang in the past was pretty interesting and I'm in comprehension if this story will lead more to the music side whilst interchanging with Liang reminiscing his past life. If you ask me, this isn't your usual music anime, it's more diverse of different cultures if you ask me but the way they handle the blend between the music and historical thoughts from Liang makes it more fun and hilarious. Starting my Spring 2022 with this is legitimately the better thing I could've asked for. |

| This premiere was a lot better than I expected. It didn't feel that forced with humor with every second which I appreciated, spent some time to explore Kongming exploring the setting a bit to adjusting to the situation he's at and reflect about the events that happened while looking at the Wiki page, and him supporting Eiko was a nice touch too in this episode. The balance of humor and the story itself in the introduction phase was better than most other comedy anime I've seen in the past year so I'll keep my eyes out for how this show can perform over the rest of the season. It seems simple but I do see some wacky potential in this for sure. Nothing was overly funny by any means for a comedy work but I had a good time for sure, which is something I can't say for the Winter 2022 anime. The singer for Eiko was good too. Like the original songs, especially going for English ones for a change. Nice songs for sure. P.A Works did a really solid job visually too with animating Eiko's performances, the nightlife feel and craziness (lighting was on point) and pretty much everything else. Glad to see P.A Works go for a show like this too that's different for a change. Feels refreshing and gives me hope that they can finally produce a show I can potentially like besides Shirobako maybe. |

| When your boss is a Three Kingdoms nerd. A more than fortunate coincidence xD And lol, my first day at the bar didn't go nearly as smooth. Fun start, as expected of such a wacky premise. That this will apparently feature a lot of music too is a pleasant surprise. |

| The first time PA Works is doing a manga adaptation and so far it looks good. I like the humor and the early character dynamics, though it’s too early to judge how well it’ll turn out. I really like how Eiko is depicted as a believable female character and how nicely animated her singing and dancing were. Kongming seems like a really nice guy and a befitting companion despite his initial odd impressions with this new setting he’s been placed in. Overall a pretty nice premiere. Hopefully this can be as fun as Shirobako and Hanasaku Iroha or at least give me the same sort of feelings and experience as when I watched the aforementioned two. |

| Manga reader here. Great start so far! Eiko and Kongming have great chemistry, and Eiko's singing voice is convincing. Kinda wish she'd sung in Japanese instead of English, though. Still---solid start. |

| With this potential to be theoretically an idol anime, with Kongming being Eiko's manager. Lets watch. Now I cant stop comparing "気分上々↑↑" cover from D4DJ with this series cover, but are good. Kongming will beat me up but, like D4DJ version more. |

| "Ya Boy Kongming!" Man, gotta love this anime's alternative title xD Pretty nice start overall. Already liking the chemistry between Kongming and Eiko and the music was also pretty cool. | I think we should call this genre "Future Reincarnation". I have seen plenty of this era reincarnation, but none of them tried to take modern era as the story setting. Usually, we get to war era like Oda Nobuna, or just maybe some hard comedy like Oda Cinamon Roll(which I dropped after 5 eps). Yeah, I think this is a first time we get a MC from a legend getting reincarnated to modern era, and I really like it how adaptable he is. |

| There's a few moments where it's clear that the director wanted all the budget and the animators just threw up their hands and went all uncanny valley. Like the guitar scene. That is some Grade A disturbing twitching that somebody clearly thought "More frames = better looking," so she's rocking around like she's having a seizure in what is supposed to be one of its many melodramatic "idols are so great!" moments. Speaking of which, get someone who speaks English fluently on staff, PA Works. Every single song is broken Engrish. Yeah, it's undermined by way of being generic JPop to start, but mangled gibberish is not helping. As far as idol shows go, it's far from the worst I've suffered through, and I can't imagine it won't be better than the other four or so new ones this season even ignoring Yet Another Love Live. It was just unambitious and steering hard towards rank mediocrity in every way but the animation. The jokes were mainly the girl yelling in overreaction. The story nonexistent. The characters are all as cookie cutter as they come. There were a few moments here and there, mostly the very rare sight gags that didn't involve her screaming, but they were too few and too far in between. You can accomplish a lot in twenty minutes, and this episode was more interested in overanimating some bad Engrish for the CD sales than story, jokes, or characters. |

| Better than I expected. It's a bit crazy to see that this is only P.A Work's very first manga adaptation. I like the combination of music with the whole going forward in time thing. If the rest is handled well, it could end up being an underrated one for the season |

| What's up its ya boy Kongming!! Holy cheese, at first I thought I will be bored by these old time era information and stuff. But as the episode progress it slowly became more and more interesting. Kongming thought he was at hell first XD. Then he met Eiko who taught him the about the modern world. The way he adapted so quickly just proved that he is really smart. Now, to help Eiko's dreams in singing, Kongming shall now be her tactician. What a twist and unbelievably great mix between an the man from the old era Kongming plus the dream of Eiko pursuing music. I'm so invested! |

| I nearly passed on this, but gave it a shot because it was PA Works...one ep and I'm hooked. Every time Eiko sang, my arms started tingling lol |
