Kawai still has a lot to learn about law enforcement but I think she's on the right track. It seems Seiko also recognizes her potential. Got a case about a runaway girl this time around.

Still pretty entertaining episode. We got see more of how their work is life on everyday occasions in the office. Plus, I think the character chemistry of the anime is still fun to watch in general.

Hitting on the policewomen? Fuji is so savage to give the men picking her up the police's emergency hotline LOLS!

The beginner's luck of Kawai's juvenile training on a 16-year-old prostitute girl who ran away from home. But then again, police deal common cases like these much so often. Kawai may not have noticed it, but Fuji sure does know how to detect signs of it, especially one if sexual abuse is concerned. Glad to see that the girl has a good ending by living with her mother and filing a divorce with their stepfather. The "thank you" gift though, was something else.

What's up with Chief Fuji signalling the alarm? As it turns out, the domestic violence case happens again, but none can be as scary as the Criminal Affairs Division, the paperwork done by Miwa Makitaka's VA HanaKana, Fuji's replacement. Her line of work dealing with stalkers and sex crimes, it's no wonder she came from an all-girls' high school and grown up not being accustomed to men, much less being a history Shinsengumi buff.

Miwa may be afraid of men, but she knows how to stand her ground and have a backbone. The police are more than capable when it comes to psychological challenges from criminals, and thankfully for Miwa, the all-male hooligan-looking Criminal Affairs Division will stand by her in situations like these.

Women be strong in the police force. Learn to be perceptive, Kawai.

Penalties for people who break the no-smoking rules? I don't understand this, I thought it was a trivial matter so I thought onee-chan tachi would let it go. but it's also dangerous if someone smoking at the gas station I'm sure it will explode, depending on the situation and conditions. "How do I put "backing up" in the sex position police document?" This episode seems to have an interesting case, despite feeling sad for the girl, lol. Domestic sexual abuse. It's a complicated case, feel sad for Okaa-san. Oioioi, is that a banana wrapper? Look at this what Was that

So I guess the scary thing is humanity, Judging from this episode maybe that is the right statement. What is DV anyway, lol. I don't understand at all.

Well a bit more action last week but also a lot of comedy.
It was funny how the guy that was looking down on the girls got scared when he was led into the room will the male officer that looked scary.
It was also funny how they talked about the male officers.

And the had a good catch with the father of that girl.

A pretty good episode once again. Kawai and Fuji are getting better and better everytime I see them. Forgot to mention that this episode was more on the serious note. It was handled pretty fast but they done a great job. Kawai was pretty hilarious and Fuji just did an excellent job.

Ah, the sexual terminology must not be missing in a vocabulary of any police officer. The twits with the father being the rapist was very interesting. Also i'm not knowledgeable in the Japanese police force system, but do they have a city police and also a state police ?

I'm asking because our cheerleader girls here looks like a city police to me.

I'm curious about those censored words honestly, but hey things were a bit serious there just what anyone would assume out of a case involving a runaway, gladly courtesy of Fuji's sharp perception things got resolved quite peacefully there. So another good one for sure.

There is really the police asking people if they are minors when they smoke in Japan, WTF xD but wow the 2nd case was fucked up, of course the 16 years old girl would run away and prostitute for no reason, she was abused by her stepfather at home, that's disgusting, at least they managed to save her... well the three policewomen have a funny cohesion for sure, but the men make me laugh with their look

The police system in Japan is mainly divided into National Police Agency and Prefectural police department. The National Police Agency is the central agency of the Japanese police system, and the central coordinating agency of law enforcement. They also get a command over national emergency or large-scale crime. Whereas, the Prefectural police department is responsible for the regular police affairs in their respective prefectures. All of the characters in this anime seem to be prefectural police. Our main characters are working in a "koban" which is kind of a police box. The main responsibilities of the koban are to maintain order and safety in their responsible neighborhood, promote traffic safety to the citizen, crime report, lost and found, initial emergency services, and petty crimes. The koban also doesn't have an investigating officer, so if they need one, the koban police need to report to an actual police station(the main station in the area) for sending them to the crime scene or to the koban. Those investigating officers in this anime are working in an actual police station. As we have seen from the anime that when they caught a suspect they need to report to the investigating officer from an actual police station.

Well that turned dark fast but I'm glad they found out her issue rather than her going back to that hell.

The comedy moments were pretty funny and liked the character interactions. We finally got to see Maki voiced by none other than HanaKana. It's always a treat to hear her voice. Fuji was pretty brutal with the guys there, she just says whatever that comes to her mind. Thou she can very reliable when needed as shown in this episode, really like that about her.

This was a good episode again. Highlighting some very sensitive and important crimes which often get ignored or misunderstood. Fuji's attention and observation of things was the best high in today's episode. Loved the way the girl poked fun of Kawai with her letter. Some good light hearted moments every now and then to diffuse the tension and move the story forward with good pace without getting stuck in the details. 👍🏻

This episode went from Pokemon jokes and sex positions to some more serious stuff. Fuji got a keen eye, but sometimes you need to rely on intimidating guys for the job xD Having Koyama Rikia (also known for voicing Takamura) as seiyuu for the pompadour guy is a perfect fit.

Another enjoyable episode. The catchy opening made it all the bette.

This episode wasn't consistently top-notch in the entertainment department but I do feel like it's a breath of fresh air for a series like this to air this season, even if I'm not a real fan of it overall. It ain't no Brooklyn Nine-Nine that for most of its seasons, interweaved comedy with serious crimes, topics and themes really well. But this show does showcase some of the author's experience with working on the force for a decade and handles them fairly well in a balanced and nuanced fashion. Sexual and child abuse is serious business here, and you wanna handle the matter in the right way when writing out the scenarios for this series to explore. If only the balance of the actual episode itself was a lot better since some of the comedy between this scenario felt so off for me and the tone shifts were pretty striking and dampens the impact of the episode for me overall.

While the comedy is pretty unfunny overall like with most anime airing currently and can get old really fast, I do hope that the series can tackle topics like these more often with the right balance at hand. It does a good job in showing Fuji's competency and positive qualities as an officer in handling sensitive situations like this and adds character there. If the series can be more consistent, this could be one of the better shows of the season (although the actual season itself is pretty abysmal so even being a 5/10 = one of the best of the season currently). The life of an officer and the lives of citizens aren't all rosy, real disturbing and messed up shit can happen to anyone and handling matters like those need care. The show has just got to find a better balance overall between these scenarios and the comedy itself, let alone actually making the comedy be more entertaining on its own since that aspect still feels really dull overall, and the cast barring Fuji hasn't offered enough for me to just yet feel into them yet. This anime's a weird conflicting experience where it can be really good when it wants to in serious scenarios for a police officer to handle, and really poor when it goes back to the routine flat, uninspired jokes and tone shifts.

Woah this was funny yet also an intense episode. The first part man, for a 16-year old to speak hentai only things to a virgin police officer, was funny that's for damn sure. And Fuji saying doggy style made the laughs even more. These scenes makes me want to keep watching the series. Until the thought hit me that the stepfather...............yeah it hurts.

Now with the second part, and once again women problems. First, it was domestic violence and then our girl Maki being a closeted (otaku) girl in an all-male division, and finally a man charging in with sexist sleeves. Yeah me2 episode, amirite, and I ain't complaining, I'm in for it. Of course these issues (and more darker things possibly coming) is all learning blocks for our rookie cop Kawai, which is finally starting to handle these cases firsthand. And this made the anime certainly not for kids, that's for damn sure.

There are laughs all throughout, and that gift to Kawai is umm....yes that was wild. But when tense topics hit, it hits hard, and this anime so far is handling it in a moderately good way.

I really liked that juxtaposition. A 16 y/o doesn't really end up like that unless something's pretty damn wrong in their life. I think it highlighted how backwards Kawai's focus was while talking to the kid, being impressed and a little insecure instead of imagining *why* someone that young would be pursuing that kind of lifestyle. It's funny until you give it a moment's thought, which I think the show put across well.

Can't get over the pompadours.

Great episode! Fuji giving the police number to them men asking for her number was really funny and cool to watch xD. I feel sorry for that girl who was being assaulted by her mother's husband and Fuji could instantly detect there was something off but seeing how Kawai is fairly new, she wasn't perceptive enough to. Makitaka is now stuck in a bar with Fuji and she won't be able to sleep all night lol.

Looking forward to the next episode!

This episode had a good balance of amusing comedy and rather tense scenes that was pretty satisfying to watch. Kawai trying to understand the sexual terms that the girl was telling her did make me laugh a bit, but when her parents came into the police station and her stepfather looked perplexed and hesitant when told by his wife to join her to apologise, it dawned on me how serious this case was.

Fuji's observation here was flawless as she was able to get the girl back into the interrogation room and got her to finally tell her the truth. This part was handled really well and it did end on a funny note with the girl sending a "thank you" note to Kawai which contained a condom and a love hotel points card. XD

The other half of the episode was good, too. I like Makitaka and how she quietly works hard in a working environment that's full of men. She also held her ground when she came face to face with the rude and sexist man who came barging in before he was put in his place by the male staff. Now she should let her hair down and enjoy a girls night out at the bar with Fuji and Kawai! =D

While I already really liked this show since episode 1, it’s starting to grow on me even more, this could potentially be this season’s “The Vampire Dies in No Time” for me, just really surprising me with how good it is. This episode had a great mix of seriousness and comedy, and idk how accurate the police work in this is but I’m finding it really interesting. Fuji was really funny in this one too, her “hooray” really got me, and the new girl Makitaka is great, I hope we see her more.

I am also now referring to doggy-style as “rear-entry position” lmao, and I loved the ending where they pretty much kidnapped Makitaka lol.

LOL Fuji really gave the mens who were about to hit on her a 911 number but Fuji really needs to be conscious because asking for someone's age out of the blue is not appropriate especially when judging their appearance. I died laughing when the blonde hair girl asked for Kawaii's virginity and some other segs talk xD Also what's with Takeshi calling people a Pokemon Master, it seems like calling someone a culprit and that censor talk, I wonder if the author is really hiding something from us because we can't tell if they're telling something explicit or important and this case reminded me of Higehiro but with a blonde hair girl who runs away from their parents and fucked many people to fill her own sexual desire, honestly this feels like her parents are responsible to not teach the kids being conscience. I think Kawaii also needs to learn how to handle these cases which are a serious business here, even in real life situations, you can't just leave them hanging and crying, calm her down is the easier approach but other than that, as expected by the blonde hair girl, she gave a virgin Kawaii some condoms with a gag message on it.

I think that the overall develop of Kawaii gradually on the moves when the blonde hair girl and the mother who got divorced are all safe and sound but there's once again a room of improvements she needs to learn morally especially approaching different people, whether or not they're hard to talk, your job as an officer is to not be afraid of them through some perseverance and get used to the utilities, Maki looks like she would be good as a criminal defense lawyer if she wants to understand the whole event like how history plays a role there too in most common cases and she can give her perception towards the criminal no matter what type of cases it is. Lol the end of the scene where a random guy was hold to have a conversation in the investigation room with the head of investigation himself but as expected the random guy gotta apologize for the verbal and I gotta say though the head himself is very consistent with his workers and cares about them xD

The moment they focused on the father being all fidgety, I already knew where it was going, though I guess running away from home was already a huge red flag, girl was just very convincing with her story.

For a lack of a better term right now, this anime feels down to earth lol. For this episode even though there was some heavy/dark topics involved, it was still able to present 'em in a sensitive manner.

Also one thing I like about the Japanese language is that they will NEVER pronounce Pokémon wrong (Poh-kuh-mawhn is wrong and I dislike when someone says it like that, yuck!)
