| Pretty difficult question actually. When an anime makes me go "wow" I usually neglect to stop and check the episode number. If only MAL had a better search system, I could look up the episode threads I commented on. Anyway, next time I rewatch, I'll try and pay closer attention. | Black Lagoon(two episodes) In 2nd season (forget which episode) where Revy and Ginji go into the bowling alley to rescue Yukio from Chaka and his gang. 2nd season where Balalaika squares off against hansel and gretel (seeing how well Balalaika has her paramilitary forced so well organized and to see how scary she can be during the ending scene by the fountain gave me chills. GitS:(2nd gig) The Major goes under cover as a thief in order to dup someone into letting her into the vault willfully as this was the best way to get enough info in order to issue his arrest. same season, we see major training some new recruits and she finds herself in a small little shop and we get some back story on a little boy and little girl who both had a terrible but major turning point in their childhood. Psycho-Pass: Episode where Akane finally catches up to Shougo Makashima and is forced to ....watch an incident which makes her question the sybil system as a whole. Ergo Proxy: Episode where Re-L and Vincent find themselves seeing double. Love this episode because you can see who's who if you pay close attention. Alderamin on the Sky: Yatorishino comes in and saves the princess dispatching her kidnappers in devastating fashion. Yatori faces off against another dual sword fighter. |

| Gonna talk about my top 5 6 because I can't remember the rest. Aria - Honestly, the final 5 episodes of Origination could be here. I could play it safe and answer with episode 9, Surrounded by That Orange Wind, but I think it would do a great disservice to the other excellent episodes that the entire series has to offer like Origination's ep 4, 5, it's aforementioned final arc, Natural's ep 18, 16, 20, 5, and even the Arietta OVA. Aria, as a whole, is rife with intimate little pieces K-On!! - Easily episode 20 and 24, HTT's performance at their final school festival and graduation ceremony. A very great and memorable finale, even if I prefer the 2011 movie. Cardcaptor Sakura - Somewhat the same thing with Aria, I like all of them about the same. I do think that episode 42 was immensely entertaining and a great introduction to the 2 best clow cards in the entire collection. Natsume Yuujinchou San - Episode 4, of course. The series' ability to create impactful moments using characters that have little screen time never ceases to amaze me. The 1st episode was also a strong and emotional opener. 3-gatsu no Lion - episode 19, Shimada's backstory and the opening to the Kyoto mini-arc. This episode cemented Shimada as my other favorite character from the series. I love his VA and his backstory was also heartbreaking. Haibane Renmei - episodes 8 and 13, The Bird and Reki's World, utterly broke me and emotionally shook me to my very core. If I were to be a bit more sensitive, I would've probably cried because I saw so much of myself in both Rakka and Reki. |

| Not really in favorite order. 1. Shoujo Kakumei Utena - Last episode. Makes me cry. Always. 2. Hunter x Hunter (2011) - Episode 135. If you know. Then you know. 3. Usagi Drop - First episode honestly but the second one is just as <3 4. Mob Psycho 100 - Last episode of S1 or S2. They're both perfect bow top endings. 5. Mousou Dairinin - Internet suicide pact is probably one of the greatest stand alone episodes ever. 6. Alps no Shoujo Heidi - Episode 34 where Heidi reunites with her grandfather. Made me weep. 7. Ore Monogatari - It's been a while but I think the episode where they plan Yamato birthday party was just so lovely. 8. Amaama to Inazuma - The episode where they make curry or stew. They're both heartbreaking. 9. Haikyuu - End of the Shiritorizawa match is engrained into my soul. 10. Karekano - To be real episodes 1-4 feel like one full long episode to me. It's like one of those perfect openings. Bonus: I hate the anime but BNHA. The Kacchan vs Deku 2.0 fight in season 3. I've probably sadly watched that episode more times than any other episode in anime. |

| I realized after gathering screenshots from the episodes that I just can't decide what episodes are my favorites in half of the shows, so here are just the ones I was sure of (I tried my best to choose pics that wouldn't spoil but even a character's appearance could spoil them not dying previous to the episode, so open at your own risk) Detective Conan: easily episode 129, this could be my favorite anime episode period, the excitement and intrigue I felt watching this episode is something I'll never forget Hunter x Hunter (2011): episode 135. Just...damn Code Geass R2: episode 25, literally what else would it be, lol. Talk about a peak. Made in Abyss: episode 13, it was just the richest and more emotionally impactful episode (also the one that made me cry) Anohana: episode 13, basically every emotion climaxes and gets multiplied in this one |

| 2 entries are movies so here's the remaining 8 of my favorites: Konohana Kitan - EP4 made me laugh and cry and go hug my mom in the same episode. Steins;Gate - hard to choose but the big twist at the end of EP9 stands out to me the most. Clannad AS - EP19. Yes, 19. Not the famous flower field episode. YGO 5D's - EP150. Although 109 has my favorite moment of the show, 150 is better when considering the whole episode. Shirobako - EP23. How can it not be 23? If you've watched the show, you know what I'm talking about. Aria - the final episode. I'm weak to bittersweet ending. Maid Dragon - probably the first one. Really hard to choose. Shiki - I'm gonna cheat and say the special episode. Not because the main show is weak but because the final batch of episodes are all amazing, and the special expanded on them to a whole new level. |

| Kaiba : Episode 3, which is my all-time favorite episode out of every anime I've seen, it's a masterpiece all by itself Made in Abyss : Episode 13 of course, that's where MIA peaks and the exploration of Nanachi's and Mitty's characters is so great and impactful Madoka Magica : Surprisingly, the episode that impacted me the most isn't episode 10 but the one that concludes Sayaka's arc, I think it was episode 8. It was such an emotionally powerful episode which really proved to me how great of a character Sayaka is Aria the Natural : I don't remember the episode's number but it was the one with the little pink lantern, it was such a beautiful episode Serial Experiments Lain : It's hard to say because that's the show as a whole that is great, I don't think there's an episode that particularly stands out, but I'll go with the one introducing , I found it to be very interesting Kemono no Souja Erin : I'm hesitating between the one with and the one where . The first one was beautifully directed and the second was the one that made me realize how great Erin's character really is Cowboy Bebop : I can't decide between two, the first one The Mad Pierrot episode, I loved it, it was so well-made (especially the ending) and Mad Pierrot was a very unique character. The second one is the one about Faye's backstory, Faye is my favorite CB character and this episode confirmed it to me Owarimonogatari : Episode 6 without a doubt. I found the whole Sodachi trilogy to be amazing but episode 6 is definitely my favorite Monogatari episode (so far), everything was so well made and such a great conclusion to all the build-up we had since Owari's first episode Clannad:After Story : Episode 18 of course, I don't think I even need to explain why, I'm sure everyone who's seen it would know Ef:A Tale of Melodies : This one is also quite hard, because I remember a lot of impactful moments from many episodes but not one specific episode, but I'll go with the one where Yuuko reveals her story, it was pretty great |
