I think 10 or 11 is too young. I’d probably let my kid start One Piece at age 13 or 14

Whenever they want to, I guess.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

I was watching Afro Samurai when I was 11 which had literal gore.
I would let my kids watch one piece when they could read. More people die in Disney movies.

Do people get holes punched through them in Sesame Street?

I remember they put One piece on the TV so I started watching One Piece and also Naruto when I was 6, I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. Why wouldn't you let your kid watch a shonen? I'm curious. And why at the age of 10????

Don't plan on ever having a gross gremlin, but I'd let my niece watch the same age I started, 12

It's not even much of a graphic scene. I consider episode 36 more shocking. It's nonetheless something average children should be able to handle. Even The Lion King had scenes as vicious.

Of course there’s no blood, it’s a kids show. That kind of scene would be super bloody in One Piece, like the time crocodile gutted Luffy and Robin in Alabasta. I wouldn’t let a child watch something like that.

I won’t. One Piece will corrupt their minds thinking pirates are good and the navy is evil. I don’t want them to be tainted unless they can discern its just a show and not to take or learn anything from it.

That is a real thing. In yearly years kids have a hard time discerning fact and fiction. And the subtext becomes authority is bad. Kids are really impressionable.

I have been watching One Piece since I was born pretty much(not kidding)
my dad was a big One Piece fan and was watching it when I was born and I remember watching episodes with him before I could even walk.

So I would let my kids watch at any age I guess

If possible , yeah and it's okay to watch it at a young age , when I was 5 , I used to watch movies with violence and practical effects and I turned out fine .

I wouldn’t want them to watch it at a young age because then it would make everything else look trash in comparison.

I think with one piece, especially post time skip there is a lot of sexualization of characters which isnt very appropriate for a young 6/10 y/o child
