 ABC Animation opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiroaki Mizusaki's Kaijin Kaihatsu-bu no Kuroitsu-san (Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department) manga on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), teaser promo, and theme song artists.The anime series will air on Asahi Broadcasting and TV Asahi's 24 affiliate stations on Sundays at 2:00 a.m. on the ANiMAZiNG programming block beginning January 9, 2022. Staff Director: Hisashi Saitou (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Sora no Otoshimono) Series Composition: Katsuhiko Takayama (Ange Vierge, Two Car) Character Design: Kazuya Morimae (Masou Gakuen HxH chief animation director, Shinmai Maou no Testament main animator) Studio: Quad Kaori Maeda (Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai) and Satomi Amano (Tamayomi) are starring as Touka Kuroitsu and Wolf Bate, respectively. Japanese boy band AXXX1S is performing the opening theme "Special Force." Mizusaki originally published the manga as a one-shot in Comic Meteor in April 2019 and subsequently began serializing the manga on the website. Flex Comix will ship the third volume on October 12.
