Not only do we get vampire urges emerge but also a mysterious character with the spider mask. Jeanne's bloodsucking scene though...Jesus Christ. This anime really doesn't hold back when it comes to their vampire instincts lol |

| That blood-drinking scene was so erotic. LOL, But boy the rest of the episode was just pure awesomeness. That show-off from Vanitas in front of everyone was so fuckin' dope until he returned to his normal self. LMAO. Veronica made her appearance and instantly tried to kill Vanitas. Jeanne saved him tho. And, then the shit got dark immediately. This show is really doing this in a mere moment every time. The Jeanne scene... Holy fuckin' shit... |

I read the director interview that he really aware there are a lot of hints in Vanitas no Carte, why he is aware but doesn't show the hint? Sigh. I mean, this is mystery anime, if you don't show the hint, people won't wondering ヽ( `д´*)ノ Other than that, it's good enough. To be honest, the blood sucking scene took longer than what I think it should have taken. I mean, it would have been fine had they also included the flashback right after where charlatan appeared that showed Noe, Domi, and the rest as children and the "cursed-bearer" because, like you said, it would serve are more hints to the story and makes people curious and want to know more. I think they will end up animating that scene from memoire 8 in the manga in the next episode but I think including it to the ending part of today's episode would have been such exciting cliffhanger for the episode. Other than that, I loved the episode and I cannot wait for more!! |

| One man's research is another's devilish plan, and "Mon Chaton" Noe learned this "World Formula" theory from his teacher the way that was taught, the backdrop setling in for evil thereafter. This is one of Jun Mochizuki's starting hooks, which only makes the original source material feel that much better, now in animated form. The Bal Masqué arc with Dominique leading both Noe and Vanitas (along with Murr), and getting lost in this huge mansion filled with calefare jesters isn't a good sight. While Noe encounters Luca (which means that Jeanne is around also), Vanitas is unfazed by Domi's torture of questioning his involvement with the Vampire of the Blue Moon, locked together with The Book of Vanitas, staging a coup de grace to not slay, but save humans from their vampire graces as means to retaliate against the rumours. That is...if Vanitas made it to sound like a laughing joke, then I'm certainly amused by it with the usual chuckles. Unfortunately, Veronica's introduction, as grandeur as it is, tried to kill Vanitas for real, while Jeanne escorted Vanitas out from harm. The unassuming cacophony that turns humans into curse-bearers, and the rage of these curse-bearers to drink off the blood from humans (as such with Jeanne and Vanitas, which makes the entire scene scary), along with the immaculate camerawork action. The Charlatan are the waywork villains of this arc, and every episode takes me further into the abyss. Another great epsiode. |

Plot wise the story is making me more and more intrigued, seems like there's a group that corrupts vampires now. Real talk though, why do vampires no just destroy humanity if their tech is better? Surely they could have lol |

| Nice way to start the episode, with a bit of Noé'sbackstory and world building information. So it was Paracelsus von Hohenheim who messed up this world's formula. Vanitas' declaration infront of everyone and then the start of chaos was really well done. Noé sucking Dominique's blood was kind of lewd but Jeanne sucking Vanitas' blood was too lewd. From the way they were reacting really makes me wonder if it really feels that good to get your blood sucked or to suck someone's blood. Another great episode, things are building up really nicely so far. |

| Whatever is going on between Jeanne and Vanitas, the anime really does take it pretty far. This anime is great, plot-wise, animation-wise and action-wise. Even the fan service if that counts. Vanitas No. 2 makes his official debut and now everyone is after his life. I'm interested to see more of this "Charlatan's Parade" thing. I thought it was supposed to be a simple curse but if it has a physical form, there must be more to it than that. I wonder what kind of reputation Vanitas will have after this mess of a party is over. |

| Finally the introductions are done and the Plot progression started. And not disappointed in the least! Bones did a great job(Again the minor cuts dont really serve any important purpose and the animation and soundtrack more then makes up for it) Voice acting was on point as well! Tbh Now i am really intrigued on how they will adpat certain sequences and scenes! And NGl they elevated alot of scenes as well! 5/5 I hope they do justice to noe s flash back as well! Cant wait i suppose. |

| Yeah, I won't mind being sucked to death by Jeanne. I mean I am not as suicidal as Vanitas, but... They are skipping here and there, but the flow is there - otherwise the manga shouldn't have existed XD. A lot of good texture art, colour and lighting. The music is enchanting as ever. They didn't really hold back on those scenes, and I am not complaining! Though it would feel weirder if I closed my eyes and listened to the VAs... |

| Amazing episode and very, very intense too. Just Jun Mochizuki shit right there, I was so drawn in by the opening sequence and the close cuts and the voice acting, particularly during the tense scenes with Jeanne and Vanitas in the second half and Dominique scenes too in the first half. Not to mention, Vanitas' speech was dope too. Bones were a bit of a mixed bag with the first 3 episodes despite being good on its own, but this was their best one. The story getting more and more intense over time makes this anime really scream of excitement for the future. This show and Sonny Boy are carrying this season for me. Loved Jeanne and Dominique a lot in the manga, and that hype is coming through for them here too in the anime. |
| My adorable Luca is back! It's funny how Noe gets lost, and just goes "How unbelievable! Those two are together and still managed to lose their way!" The art and animation are so pretty, but the directing is slightly weak. Like, there was no tension at all this episode. It doesn't feel like anything is about to wrong, not just anytime soon, but at all. Vanitas seems so predatory and some of the scenes are so sexual. But, I don't remember the manga being like that. I want to check the manga again, but I also don't want to because I like the feeling of experiencing this story for the first time again. |

| Well damn! Things got chotto eroi this week and I am here for it! Vanitas is such an interesting character; I just cannot pin him down! He's ridiculously bold for a human among vampires plus every now and then you see this side to him that almost seems psychotic, like that scene where Jeanne was sucking his blood. The fact that Vantias declared he wants to save the vampires in vengeance against the vampire Vanitas hints at a dark past and I'm looking forward to learning more about him. I'm also so curious about Noe too cause there's something just as mysterious about his character as Vanitas |

| Woa- WOAAAH that blood sucking scene was quite ........ stimulating . For some questionable reasons it made me want to suck some as well . Scary what Cute anime girls can make you do . Again the story and the characters are still just meh , but goddamn if the directing isnt brilliant for this show . it got more pronounced in this ep , with how well timed it was and how much it compliments the source material. i decided to check some of the chapters of the manga to see how faithful it was to it , and its honestly incredible how superb of an adaptation it is , visuaaly atleast. Shaft inspired SBs are always the best SBs . |
| Dimo was beautiful as hell in the first few minutes of the series, seems like she's really worried about Noe hanging around Vanitas. The masquerade ball got raided by the one and only, Vanitas. That was a wonderful and serious speech but it ended up with some light comedy. The mysterious character with the mask looks sick af, can't wait to see more of her. The only thing we know is that it's Dimo's sister. While Noé is fighting Charlatan, Vanitas is having some good time with Jeanne. |

| The blood sucking were so intimate, but Jeanne and Vanitas' really topped Noe and Domi's, theirs felt a lot more erotic. Vanitas looked like he was orgasming lol and it was funny how he covered his mouth to stop himself from letting out his moans. Noe suggesting Vanitas and Domi were lost after he got separated from them was amusing. |

| I LOVE Vanitas no Carte as a story BUT I think I like manga more. I like the style (art) in the anime as well but... Vanitas sometimes seems like a completely different there. Or maybe I was just seeing his character as a little bit different as I was reading the manga? |

| I'm glad they explained the Babel Incident! It's such a vital piece of information that it'd be weird if they actually left it out. One thing I really liked in this episode was the execution of the scene in which Dominique accuses Vanitas of worshipping the Vampire of the Blue Moon. It had a very nice build-up. The voice acting was on point as well. And despite me not having been that big of a fan of the humour's execution in the past episodes, I found this one very amusing and not disruptive at all (except for the obvious one atop the chandelier, but that's a whole other thing). One other shot I really liked was Vanitas' "I don't know/No real reason". For some reason, I thought it was delivered very well and gave insight to his flippant personality. I did, however, not really enjoy the scene between Jeanne and Vanitas as a whole. In my personal opinion, it was unnecessarily long, although it did do a good job of showing Vanitas' manipulative side. I was a bit disappointed that they left out a certain piece of information, but perhaps they will add that in later (like they did with Babel) as it should be important. Either way, I look forward to the next episode. It will most definitely be the best one so far if they are able to adapt it properly! |

Noe is so skilled though, took both of the enemies in a fight and didn't even intent to kill them, nice :) Good episode nonetheless. |

| Vanitas got guts, I will give him that. Announcing that he is a human with Vanitas' book and power bestowed on him, in a mansion full of Vampires was a bold move. Jeanne to the rescue, the scenes today were surprisingly hot. First Noe and Domi and later Jeanne and Vanitas. Charlatan showing up at the end, I could only wonder if that actually is the real deal or not. |
