 Bandai Namco Arts opened an official website for a new television anime titled Re-Main on Friday, revealing the main staff, cast, and a teaser visual (pictured).  The project is a collaboration between screenwriter Masafumi Nishida (Tiger & Bunny), Bandai Namco Arts, and animation studio MAPPA. Judging by the amount of contracts that the studio is taking on, they're probably trying to make up for their losses in previous years. As it's a common occurrence for studios to take on more contracts when their sales are not doing well (e.g. AIC, Production IMS, GONZO, Madhouse, etc). |

| Water polo is really big where I live and it's one of my favorite sports so seeing this got me quite excited, then saw MAPPA's name and excitement is kinda gone. They really don't care it seems, if they could they would gladly take every project under the sun. Really one of the crappiest studios of our time. Since this is coming this year and it's mappa who is juggling trillion projects at once I don't have expectations for this looking great. Will likely have cg swimmers and stuff. |

| They really don't know how to give their employees time to recover huh. Original anime from mappa few years ago would have been really interesting to see but this really doesn't look promising. Waiting for the day when mappa too will fall like predecessor madhouse |
