No, it's not too late. There are still a lot of mysteries yet to be solved. And it's not ending anytime soon, probably in 5 years. Go ahead, read or watch. Up 2 u, I'd rather you read it, it's more time-efficient.
Everyone has times when they've come up against a wall and feel like giving up on everything and running away. But you mustn't forget that during these times when the going is rough, the soul inside of you will try to create something to break through that wall. And don't forget that in your suffering there is something very precious. We're all suffering in agony with our troublesome lives. Sometimes it comes to tears. When that happens, let it flow as much as it wants. If it still doesn't stop flowing, then we'll come and mop it up. - Gintoki

If you got a lot of free time, you can binge watch it, I suppose.

If you can only do an episode a day or so, you may find yourself catching up for a whole year. But up to you. Mind you, either route is an opportunity cost for watching something else so unless you are dead set on watching it for whatever reason...

In a month? Isn't it like 15 days of content... Are you ok man?

Bruh, it's been a year to watch one piece for me. You don't have to worry about me, my brain function is faster than bullet train. Even after 48 hr continuous wak, I've ability to keep my cool and man it's pretty normal for me.
Man,I watched 25-30 episodes per day. Reason-It's great and absorbing.
I know you can't do that, but at least you can watch 15-20 or 10-15 in a day. Yeah, if you want a break then just take it and fresh your mind.
Yeah, these aren't applied to me. I'm pretty much abnormal.

it's not too late. watching 10 episodes a day will get you up to speed in like 3 months. if you're like me and can watch 50+ eps on some days, then you can catch up in like less than a month.

Never too late. I started in early 2019 and am up to the Water 7 arc (ep 232).

I haven't watched an episode since June 2020, but when i do pick up One Piece I'll binge watch it for a couple of weeks and watch a whole arc in one go (did this twice with Alabasta and Skypiea arcs).

One Piece is just so fun, Skypiea was so much fun to explore with the show, colourful, fun fights with strange rules. You knew Luffy & crew would win, but you never knew exactly how they'd do it.

I'm planning on watching the Water 7 arc sometime in next couple of months. Then I'll pick it up each year until I catch up, may be a while, but it doesn't look like One Piece is going to end any time soon.

I know it's easier to read the manga, but if you do you'll miss some great OP, ED and OST. I love some of the cheesy tracks you get on some One Piece episodes, like this one from the dub, i love the guitar hook, ED 09 Free Will.

You can watch everything whenever you want. Watch One Piece now, in 2 years or maybe in 10. Watch it when you want.
I don't watch seasonal anime really often because i don't want to wait for the next episode, so i watched a lot of "big" or "known" stuff later. Why should it matter?

my advice, read the manga, and then watch the anime when its about fighting (u can skip the build up story coz u already read the manga).
U dont need rushing to catch up to the story right now, its still take more than 3 years for this series ended.

It just amazes me so much to see an anime still airing new episodes today since 1999. Damn.

So what are they at now, 960+ episodes? Let's say you start right now, and are really into it. Let's watch a decent amount each day, not too much, but not too little. How about an average of 6 episodes a day, about 2 hours of watch time. Seems like a good amount for your average avid anime watcher. Don't forget you probably have other anime you're watching on the side, so let's keep it a good 6 just for one piece.

Now let's do the math based on our 6 episode per day watch plan: 960 divided by 6 is 160 days, just under 23 weeks, or about half a year. Start now in late February, you'll probably finish sometime in late August or early September. Dang. And that's IF you continuously watch 6 episodes EVERY day. Idk man, if you have the guts to tackle this beast, and if this is the stuff that floats your boat, go for it. But for more personally, I wouldn't even dream of it. I'm just not into that long running shounen side of anime. Just give me my little 12 episode rom coms XD

Nope.If you don't watch any anime at all but only One piece you can complete it if you don't mind the pacing.I've already completed a total of 846 episodes(not one piece) and i've only started watching anime around March/April in 2020 and I watch only around 3-6 episodes per day.So No.It's not too late.
People with around 3000-5000 episodes completed is a piece of cake to catch up to One piece.

Were you watching the episodes for 10 hours/day for 7 days during that month? Did you skip any episodes?

1 episode = 20 minutes
3 episodes = 1 hour
10 hour = 30 episodes
70 hours = 210 episodes

280 hours = 840 episodes

This means you would have to be constantly watching One Piece episodes for 10 hours a day through an entire week to make it to 840 episodes a month, which still come out less than 860. This does not include breaks.

There's never too late, but you won't catch up that fast, will take you some months, just take your time watching all of them, don't force yourself to a crazy watching schedule. Just watch a healthy amount each day (6 eps of One Piece/day), and you will catch up in 6 months.

It's not too late! It would only be too late after it ends because then you would risk all the end game spoilers. But right now is as good of a time as ever. If you catch up with One Piece now (by "now" I mean several months to a year, or possibly longer if you lack free time) you will be able to experience the ending when it eventually comes which will be a historical moment.

Not one piece related, but i was asking the same thing when i'm trying to start Detective Conan. I start it and before i knew it, i already at the 997th episode with all movie finished watching. So, i think it's never too late.

I don't think it's too late. Plus, if you're not a completionist, you can stop at any arc as soon as it starts feeling stale or skip arcs that you don't find interesting. You don't have to watch every single episode.

It's never too late until the manga is nearly finished. It's a fun watch at any age and you won't get the ending spoiled. The moment OP manga ends, the spoilers will be almost world news. It's no point watching then.

Why is it too late to start it? Yeah currently it's a lot of episodes in, but it's never too late to start an anime. If they're enjoying it then I don't see the problem with watching it, plus they wont get spoiled about the ending since it's still airing.

i would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that so many of the early arc were left unfinished but as it is now i would rather wait.
