The "professional" animators here, discuss the technicalities of the production and how they wish a certain scene was animated. But no one is discussing the new things that we learned such as Mikasa's background story, Eren's resolve, The plan that those guys had for Historia. This is place is the worst possible one for someone to discuss an anime lmao. Horrible I feel extremely bad for any anime only that browses this forum. Practically no discussion about the plot, characters and situation and just endless whining over the most stupid, and just "who the fuck cares" aspect of the episode. It's histerical how annoying this fandom has gotten since last year I used to discuss the plot when the manga was at this part... It was a glorious expirence.... Waiting for it to be animated just to find out out it has trash animation fucking hurts.... Still not as much of a disappointment as RtS lol. Bad animation, directing, projects outside of the model, this is the definition of s3. Go ahead and let Imai be your argument that it is not. Even though s4 has problems with animation, the direction is still great enough to capture the mood and atmosphere of this season, s3 couldn't do it. S1 and S2 were on a completely different level, yes. But the RtS adaptation is a joke, and you're just a WIT fanboy, there's no other explanation for your blindness to s3 problems, and pointing out every little s4 bug. I had high expectations for the RtS adaptation, I was damned disappointed and did not repeat the same mistake again. I had no expectations from the s4, and hey, I'm really enjoying it. At least I have good directing and not that Koizuka joke from s3. You act as if the animation is the most important thing, LMAO. Not to mention, the dialogues in AOT ALWAYS were a slide show. But hey, you're the guy who calls the scenes bad just because they're not adapted the way you want them to. You're just a clown who calls something garbage just because it doesn't live up to your expectations while riding a WIT cock as if everything they did was a fucking masterpiece. If you don't like it that much, stop watching, at least we won't have to read any more of your shit littering the discussions. You can't comment any different aspect of the episode other than tRasH QUalIty, go away clown. |

Yeah i agree with you, why don't you apply as an anime director at mappa? Dude just shut up, you are embarrassing yourself. Slow-mo bullet???? lmao, like why? Because it'd make the scene cooler. As for embarrassing myself don't really care. If saying this season sucks is embarrassing then yeah its ok with me. Slo-mo bullet at the start then showing the impact is done in alot of series. It takes effort to do that, the only reason they didn't do it. Lemme get this straight you think ep 10 had good animation? Nvm the bullet. |

To be fair she wears long sleeves a lot but I just checked back to the beach scene in season 3 part 2 and there's no bandage. Then I looked at the manga panel for that scene and she does have a bandage so I guess the anime majority fucked up with this one. Or maybe Isayama should have done a better job making its importance known if it was present throughout the manga. Eren made it seem like this was some big mystery revealed but I'm pretty sure everybody along with myself just went: "Wait what? Mikasa's been hiding something with a bandage on her wrist?" Anyway it this wasn't planned since like chapter 1 of the manga, Isayama probably should have just come up with a different way to accomplish the same thing. Maybe Mikasa just recognizes the crest, mentions her mother had it on something or another and then the Asian folks deduce that she must be a descendant of that important guy because that's the only way she'd even be on the island. But other than that I did enjoy those scenes with her regardless. I'm happy that there's at least a bit more backstory to her and it even has some plot relevancy. On the other hand it was pretty depressing to see Historia looking miserable as fuck with that pregnancy especially since they just showed her fooling around and smiling 2 minutes earlier. At least she's alive and not a mindless royal blood titan so maybe her situation will improve. Also I'm surprised Mikasa didn't have an explanation for Eren laughing at Sasha's death considering she saw him laughing in a similar way when Hannes died. It's just his way of dealing with sudden loss. He's probably laughing at the absurdness of having all this power now and having come so far since he was a child watching his mother die, yet he's still unable to save one of his friends. I guess maybe it will come up again but regardless I feel like Mikasa should know this? Oh and just lolz that people even feel the need to ask her whether she'd side with Eren considering the only reason she even joined the military was to stay by his side. I mean come on. Her wrist is covered in the manga on the beach. WIT did not include it ,idk why. There are no plot holes on aot You clearly didn't read much of my post since I commented on that as well but yea looks like it was just never in the anime. The episode was really good as always.A lot happened , 3 years passed and what was the most depressing scene for me is Historia’s pregnant and she doesn’t have that happy face like she used to.In the end i came out depressed after being so hyped for a week. But i hope everything goes well and we get to see some action. |

My favourite scene is when they acknowledged the fact the Levi’s so short and he’s just like “How dare you guys get so big” when he’s looking at Connie. Made me laugh. |

I am curious how consistent the manga was with it and when it first appeared. The tatoo was always there in the manga. It has been present since chapter 5 and is something WiT removed from season1 when they animated. Yams brought it back as foreshadowing now and mappa just chose to pretend it's always been there. Mikasa has a bandaged wrist whenever it is shown in the manga |

Another dialogue heavy episode. Seems like each episode goes back in time a bit to enlighten the audience about what happened in between the time-skip. Discussion on the inheritance of Eren's founding titan was discussed although a conclusion has not been reached. Historia gets pregnant...on Valentine's Day...congrats... |

Hahaha, Sasha's words are really sharp as sword...in the eps 9 she asked to Onyankopon, "Why idid your skin is so dark?", in this eps, she tells Connie that he's a fool and why did he surprised about that, hahaha...that's why we really need her...soo funny when Armin is trying to stop Sasha drinking all of the water, reminds me of the old day...and Mikasa, how is she become that strong??? I know she is strong, but look at she carrying those materials that size are almost 2 times than her...and yeah the big part in this eps is that Historia is pregnant...arghhhh I really don't want to accept that, with some random guy that we don't even know his name (I am assuming Eren is the father, but yeah, to good to be true)...and at least Eren is still human 2 years ago, how he's rejecting Zeke Yeager's plan and also he said that his friends are the precious one for him, even blushed...now, he even dare to threatened Hange...why Eren? Is it because he is running out of time, so he tries to rush things? Although Hange's plan is a declaration of peace...it's a shame... |

Having watched the subbed version, it was another great episode. Some of the exchanges between the group were hilarious, especially the dead pan one between Connie and Sasha about inheriting Eren's titan. A nice use of the OST as well during that whole scene. The Mikasa - Hizuru clan link was actually covered way back in the manga, but never in the anime by WiT. I guess at the time they just didn't think it was all that important a detail. The only criticism I'd have of this episode was that some of the dialogue was delivered so quickly during some scenes in the 1st half of the episode, that each scene was never really given enough time to breath, and for the audience to take it all in. Even though MAPPA are covering these recent chapters really well, and slowed the pace right down to accommodate a lot of important information, it still feels like they're rushing through some sequences. Given the amount of dialogue-heavy chapters they are covering though, it'd be difficult to slow it down anymore than they already have. |

Episodes like these are what made AoT stand out more to me. I enjoy the little fun moments they have from time to time and subtle forshadowings and plot progression to complement it with. Also is it just me or did they made Kiyomi more "interesting" in the anime form. maybe it's the expression but it gave me creeps during her talk with Mikasa(Princess yey!) lol. |

Okay hold up Eren is blushing, wtf?!!! Looks like the Hizurus and somehow Mikasa is actually a descendant of their former Lord, so wow nice job. Also a nice relatability with Historia there, knowing they're both leaders on their own front. And hey Eren smiles!!! Unfortunately the Hizurus are only up for their resources, and if they want to prevent the Rumbling, it's either Historia acquiring the Beast Titan or get pregnant for some unknown reason. Either way, because of some goddamn spoiler that I actually got exposed to, Historia is actually pregnant now, and who knows who's the man who gave the seed, Idk probably... That scene where they were riding the carriage shows how Eren is still close with his friends. At the time when they still resemble their early Survey Corps days, even after a tense talks of acquiring Eren's Titan power, they can't help but all blush (EVEN EREN) because they still care about each other. How I wonder that all of those feelings faded away in a span of a year. And since Eren has a good 4-5 years left, they're now scratching for decisions if they want to initiate the RUMBLING and the person who's going to acquire Eren's powers. Personally I will pick Levi on this job, but the man's a bit old now, spare him his remaining life that he has. Pretty tense episode overall, we got to see more of the events after the Shonganshina Arc, and I'm more curious on the events that led Eren to initiate his actions on Marley. How can he change drastically like that? |

I am curious how consistent the manga was with it and when it first appeared. It first appeared chapter 5 Well okay then. I guess Wit is just at fault for not including it which is a shame since it looks like this should have been foreshadowed years ago. Although her mother tells her right there that it's a family crest so I guess there wasn't much of a mystery other than what it looked like. I mean, WIT never really made a mistake, as the tattoo is in the front of her wrist, which was never shown. The beach scene just showed the back of her wrist (and omitted the wrapping). That's not even true. You can clearly see both sides of her wrist on the beach scene in different frames. Also she's suppose to be actively hiding it so having no bandage on in front of all those people is no good. |

Drawings were really bad but at this point i stopped caring I like aot and that's the end of it And story wise it was pretty and light hearted moments I really liked them, I have a little bit of confusion, eren was blushing while looking at Mikasa and than they had an eye contact, Right? Well I thought somehow eren would make historia pregnant but it was some random farmer guy I hope to get clearance in the next ep Also new eren is just dangerous and scary that I have to say m leaving Levi and from now on eren is my fav best boy, he's so scary the only guy I can compare him to is a villain named Johan from monster anime Overall 10 |

Another episode giving some background before season 4 and the repercussions of Eren’s actions. It is all very important to show how drastically Eren has changed and also setting up why Historia is pregnant, but I would be lying if it didn’t feel like a lot of information thrown at me. The next episode should be an important one for uncovering Eren’s and Zeke’s motives. |

There are no plot holes on aot First there is plot holes, Second anime made itself a plot hole. It was in the manga is not solid defense. First there are no plotholes. 2nd the main source material is the manga. So if i read the manga and only the manga there are no plotholes. That is WIT's error for not including that. Plot holes means that the author just asspulls something, which is not the case. And tell me some plot holes on AOT Colossal Titan doesn't have nuke effect in Season 1 when he was appeared right in front of eren? You want more plot holes? Or maybe Eren Titan Berserk Mode crap (anime-only) another crap. I don't care if it was in manga, we are not discussing source materials. Anime Adaptation has many plot holes. Colossal Titan doesn't have nuke effect in Season 1 when he was appeared right in front of eren? Just like how Collosal titan didn't nuke when he transform in the last episode? Read between the lines, or do you expect everything in the story to be spoonfeed to you? Or maybe Eren Titan Berserk Mode crap (anime-only) another crap. What is the plothole here? Not saying the series is perfect, and you are right about today episode reveal being a plot hole in the anime, but you are trying way too hard. Manga readers including myself are simple defending the author, its much better if its a studio mistake and not the author mistake, because when anime only view these scenes they will assume its the author mistake and not the studio, so we have to make it be known that's not the case. We want to make sure when anime only point this out we can make it be known that Wit studio fucked up not the author, that is what we really care about. |
