BRB going to send a death threat to MAPPA staff bad CGI xD Please. He can have his opinions. Not everything has to be a 10/10, 5/5 to everyone else. Funny how my episode rating is 3/5 and my season rating is 5/10 after episode 7 but the fanboys are still angry. Anything other than 10/10 is unacceptable to these clowns. Your score was 1/10 but you couldn't handle the backlash so you gave it a 5 instead. And you have every other season at a 10/10 lmao you're clearly biased towards your rating , you're nitpicking everything just to make yourself hate this season. Kinda sad tbh but what can I say you do you The poor soul thinks I changed my rating to not hurt his feelings. Your opinions are hardly important to my decision making. If only you realized that. I absolutely LOVED this episode. Everything was great. The time when Jean still tried to kill Pieck even tho Falco stand in front of her reminded me in Season 3 when a girl from Kenny's squad tried to attack him and how he hesitated before he could kill her and it almost cost his life. Then something similar happened when they captured Reiner and Hange was about to kill him but Jean stopped and later regretted that decision. LIKE THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT YALL MWAH *chefs kiss I see a lot of people not liking CGI but like its literally not bad. I still really enjoyed the fight scenes and they were cool. And we also got a Armin reveal! And he also destroyed a whole navy by himself, this is the same boy who throw up when he killed the same person Jean couldn't kill to save his life. Once again... how much they changed throughout the entire show is so crazy but it also makes so much sense. Overall I think they did a amazing job with this episode. I can't wait for the next episode T^T |

This episode was wonderful. Nice to see Hage with Onyankopon and Armin. His Colossal giant is much skinnier than bertholdt and was beautifully rendered as in the manga. |

But now in the present season I'm rooting for Reiner's now. Eren's acting like a Motherf**king psychopath killing everyone Damn it all. F**ked I didn't wanted anyone to die from Eren's group other than Eren himself. To be honest, it is not like Eren has any choice here. And if either people around him will die, or people from across the sea. Can you blame him for choosing his own kin? |

I remember Bertold in the third season, but before that it never exploded. Plot hole I'd say. A huge one at that. Pun intended. Really? And when was that made clear? Stop making excuses. Maybe AoT isn't as flawless as you think it is. I’ll just say that titan shifters can transform anytime they want as long as they hurt themselves and have WILLS to transform ( addressed in S1 with Hange & Eren scene ). Can it control its transformation? Well based on S1, Eren only turned his arm as titan’s arm and stopped due to no will of getting the spoon/fork and in S2, Reiner also controlled its regeneration. So it’s safe to say they can control their transformation depending on their wills. For bertholdt explosion, it’s CT speciality hence why it’s called “God Of Destruction” by Marley and in S3p2, it’s proven that he can control his power/steam but with the consequences of his steam will eat his titan’s flesh and muscles, so yin and yang there. All titan shifters has their own speciality. You might want to rewatch AOT from S1 again. No fiction is flawless, every stories has its own plot conveniences be it small or large. What’s your fav anime and I’ll address its plot conveniences similar to what you do with AOT here That 'God of Destruction' moniker is from this season. Colossal titan never exploded during the wall breaches. It appeared with the lightning and then disappeared in an instant (another plot hole). It was added later in the story. Having 'will' doesn't allow you to turn your power on and off or get a power you previously didn't have. Eren's titan can't get the armor of Armored titan no matter how much he wills it, Armored Titan can't get rid of his armor no matter how much he wills it. Same way, Colossal titan can't get rid of his explosions now matter his will. 'Will' only allows the titan shifters to do partial or full transformation or speed up the regeneration process at the expense of energy. Happened with both Eren and Reiner. The Reiner moving his consciousness magically to other parts of his spine is unexplained, even in the manga. So that's another potential plot hole. Maybe you need to watch the seasons from the beginning and stop with the mental gymnastics to justify a plot hole. And when did I say it was flawless? I said the opposite actually. Maybe you can improve your comprehension skills so you understand better in the future. |

So I think the Titan Shifters are all possessed by some kind of "will". The holder of the Founding Titan, if they are from the royal bloodline, are possessed by Karl Fritz's will to renounce war. Eren, who has the Attack Titan, is possessed by the will to seek freedom. As we know, even though he has the Founding Titan, he is not possessed by the King's will as he is not royalty. (He now has the Warhammer Titan, but we still don't know much about it). For the Armored Titan, Falco said that Reiner will be fine as long as he has a will to live. I think the holders of the Armored Titan are possessed by a strong will to live. Maybe the reason why Reiner was unconscious is because he "opposed" that will by wanting to die? For Armin, I'm not so sure but he did say something about not having a future if they don't retrieve Eren. So.. I guess something like a will for a better future? Lol idk. I think the wills of the Titan Shifters are formed by the first Shifter aka the original Nine Titan Shifters. The manga probably has answered stuff regarding this. I don't read the manga so if this is true, dang I must be amazing lol (just kidding, this is actually pretty obvious). |

Also with Jean questioning to kill both Pieck and Falco, but my guy just goes and shoots lmao. The calamity of war is an interesting watch indeed, watching people's action during such a time. Also, did MAL go down because of this? What do you mean MAL went down? THIS EPISODE WAS SO BOMB I popped off, but am I the only one who she’d a tear at Gabi and Falco calling Reiner for help? |

Reread my reply again and then think hard if you need to. Maybe then you'll understand my points better. As I pointed out, comprehension isn't your strength. Your reply proves it. Was too scared of me pointing out their plot conveniences? Condolences You're actually making me laugh and bash my head against a wall at the same time with how you misunderstood everything about my posts. You even got the definition of plot convenience wrong. What Reiner did was an asspull and since that plot point wasn't explained in the manga, it becomes a plot hole. It's a Deus ex Machina. Only suddenly used when required and convenient, and then never properly explained or talked about again. |

@Alpha_Druid Not sure why you decided to ignore but if you already read the manga. You should know that Armin transformed at the beach without causing a massive explosion at Paradis multiple times. This proves that colossal titans can control their explosion. Either that or you're just trolling to make these fans mad. |

There isn't anything to suggest they can't control the size of the explosionNefelupitou said: When did Colossal Titan become a nuclear bomb? Huh??? Is english not your native language or what? I alr addressed that CT shifters can control its explosion or steam the way he wanted proven by S3p2, the god of destruction is in this season just proved my point that even back when RBA branched the walls, the power of titan shifters have been acknowledged. Do use your brain to know the timeline please. When did i say that titan shifters can copy other shifters powers by having WILL? Show me. I said they can control their transformation depending on their wills. Look at this last ep, why did Reiner titan look like that? Look so half-assed? Because he has half-assed will to fight. Go back learn english before you make argument please. You know that explosion is the power of CT right not his design, the same of crystallizing techniques Eren Annie Zeke used so ofc his explosion wont stay there 24/7 with his titan. The part of Reiner transforming his conciousness is one that I can call plot conveniences, it’s a plothole if Reiner didnt explain that and just stand there, be safe and sound. Then when did I say it’s not flawless? I did state no fiction is flawless so use your common sense to understand what that means. Moreover I asked you to address your fav anime, what are them? Only suddenly used when required and convenient, and then never properly explained or talked about again. You are making me doing the same thing too there. There you go, said that used when required and “convenient”. And you misunderstand what’s plot holes and plot conveniences ( deus ex machina ). Here from google : A plot hole is something that happens in the narrative that's impossible, or at least, the story never establishes as being possible. A contrivance is when something happens that's possible but unlikely, and only happens because the author needed it to happen. ... If anything, it's a plot contrivance. Has the story stated that transfering conciousness is impossible before? If so, where is it and i’ll call it plot holes. And you stating it’s a deus ex machina just proves my point. Again from google : In literature, deus ex machina (Latin for "God from the machine") was a plot contrivance Who’s laughing now? Btw since you cant figure what I mean by no fiction is flawless, it literally shows that I do acknowledge AOT has plot conveniences lmao |

This adaptation keeps getting better and better. I've put the manga on hold now because I want to experience the ending of AOT in anime form for the first time. It's quite the privilege compared to all the Anime that remain incomplete. Let's not take this for granted and take a moment to appreciate that fact. The kids crying Reiner's name for help has been stuck in my head since I finished the episode. Very powerful and ironic. |

Just noticed that Carlo had pictures of the Panzer squad and a close-up picture of Pieck in his machine gun. The picture of Pieck is located near the opening of the machine gun, probably to not let anyone notice it :( And one of the members' last words are "Pieck-san". The extreme heat from the CT's explosion rapidly heated the water and caused this huge hypothermal explosion. Not to mention, there are boats around him with oil and fuel, so that just add to the explosion. It's not a plot hole, it's science. And since Armin's really damn smart, it's an acceptable reason. It's really not that hard to actually think about it instead of blindly hating. |

I was afraid they would fuck up Armin's transformation, but they did a good job with the use of that epic OST. Not perfect, but good enough. CGI Beast Titan looked atrocious, but apart from that a good episode, definitely the best this season so far. Marley got royally fucked and Eren now also has the Warhammer power, finally something that might give him an edge in combat. Guess Reiner will be able to save the Jaw. Pieke and Zeke will also recoverI guess. |

Holy shit... that episode was lit from start to finish. So much happened in this single ep that it's hard to absorb it all! I was so happy to see Armin and Hange again, even though it was heartbreaking to see Armin hurting people, something that goes against his nature That scene where Eren used Galliard to crack open the crystal coating on the War Hammer's real body was just brutal. It really shows how cold, ruthless and merciless he's become which I find so sad. He's completely lost who he was. |
