Light Novel 'Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita' Gets TV Anime
 Publishing company Kadokawa announced a television anime adaptation of Zappon's Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside) light novel on Tuesday.Synopsis A heroic and mighty adventurer dreams of...opening a pharmacy? Red was once a member of the Hero's party, a powerful group destined to save the world from the evil forces of Taraxon, the Raging Demon Lord. That is, until one of his comrades kicked him out. Hoping to live the easy life on the frontier, Red's new goal is to open an apothecary. However, keeping the secret of his former life may not be as simple as he thinks. Especially when the beautiful Rit, an adventurer from his past, shows up and asks to move in with him! (Source: Yen Press) Zappon launched the slice of life fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the novel through its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko in June 2018, featuring illustrations by Yasumo. The seventh volume shipped on July 1. The light novel has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in print, including digital editions. Masahiro Ikeno began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Ace in May 2018. Kadokawa published the fourth volume on June 26, with the fifth volume scheduled for release on November 25. Yes Press licensed the light novel in English last November and released the first volume on September 22. The second volume is planned for a February 23, 2021 release. It's actually a marketing strategy to make an abstract out of your title. It's genius, you don't have to read the synopsis. The title itself is self-explanatory. |

| What's with all these light novels getting stereotypical JRPG settings and/or the overused joke of long titles? Whether it has isekai tropes or not, this kind of trend has gotten way past tiring. It's really making me wonder how exactly the process of getting a manga or light novel an anime adaptation works. Does the work have to ride on current trends? Does it necessarily have to have an obvious and/or large marketing potential? Is it just random shit that a producer found interesting? I really want to know now. |

Since you said that isekai has evolved into being power fantasy, does that mean that on top of isekai novels evolving into not being isekai while still being isekai in name only, isekai novels that are not power fantasy are no longer isekai in name while being about isekai? Uh? Makes any sense any more ? |

| Okay, honestly, I know the long title thing is a meme at this point but it is legitimately getting out of hand, like if this was an English book I don't think they could fit that title into the cover without making it look atrocious. Slice of Life fantasy though? Sure, might be generic, but I'm down. |

Especially when there are heaps of good sources which still need anime adaptations. |
