| It's a good decision to show the majority of Jr. and Baki's fight in Jr's perspective. It shows how terrifyingly strong Baki really is, knowing that, it's still impressive how some think that he's the strongest in the world, after his father of course. Though I still feel everything was rushed, not the fight itself, but how they got to that fight, like everything leading up to that fight was rushed. Also, it would have been better if Netflix adapted the first part too, Baki's journey on how he became champion on the underground tournament. I bet a lot of people watching this didn't watch the old Baki anime, even I barely remember it tbh. |

| A bit weak with Alai Jr. lol. I thought he'd beat Baki so Baki can train more to become even stronger. Still fun to see some of the other chars (even though only for a second) like the Kureha brothers and Hanayama Kaoru. |

| Meh, with how bad this show is; I honestly should have expected that. Since everyone's already pretty much gone over how pointless this arc was; no point in reiterating it. I seriously don't know what happened to this show after the first half of the convicts arc. Literally the entire show now is just "Look at this super strong guy. He's unbeatable" and then someone beating the shit out of that guy effortlessly (while also taking multiple episodes to do so). |
| Ali got power-creeped. Then he got nerfed by getting beat up by everyone who beat him up. Then he lost nigh instantly. I enjoyed the episode, but not one of the best ways to show Baki's improved strength. |

| Even though deep inside I hoped Junior would win or at least put up a good fight, I kinda expected his one-sided defeat by the previous events of him supposedly being incredibely strong -> getting beaten the living shit out of him -> mostl likely to win -> only ended up getting oneshotted by Baki. This arc felt pretty pointless and it's pretty sad how they treated Junior in such a trash way. |

| No matter what I think of Alai Jr., I really felt bad for him especially after seeing him in such a pathetic state post-fight. Kozue shouldn't have gone as far as to give the guy who tried to win her over regardless of her relationship status a hug but it was a completely understandable thing for her to do. Guy's got nothing left after getting his spirit absolutely crushed with little to no effort at all. Yujiro and Baki finally fighting each other made me excited! They're finally about to clash for real and I hope that it won't be a horribly one-sided fight like it has always been. |

| The writers convinced me that Baki, the main protagonist switched roles. I was rooting for Muhammed Alai simply because he lost so many fights to a point where he would shine at his best in this final fight. The fight could have gone the mile but ended a bit depressingly. Bad execution. Baki challenging Ogre was foreshadowed from ages ago. I don't know if Baki can win this. I'm glad this can be settled now to allow for a better plot in the next season. Bakis entire purpose is to fight his father. It's not the greatest of plots. |
