| By watching at the leaked PV, looks like Shigure will be the main character this time and the story will focus on post-Surigao Strait. Kadokawa finally acknowledged the best girl. As long as the shitty Admiral from S1 doesn't appear to make retarded decisions, S2 has a good start to redeem itself. |

Well I myself am pleased to announce that this isn't the case. The last really important thing we heard about a second season coming after the first one and the movie (other than random tweets here and there) is an animated trailer shown in a concert on January the 4th 2019. Animes tend to take time to make, especially for a new studio. The one taking on the challenge is Engi which is well, a new studio. Lately a certain pandemic most likely isn't helping either.
