Well, what can I say, Emma never gave up, she just delegated the work so that Isabella would only worry about watching only the her and Ray, but Ray takes things further and decides to set fire to the orphanage, so that Isabella can be distracted and they can flee, but he also decides to set himself on fire, even though Emma tries to change his mind, Ray sets himself on fire.
Isabella's face when she is seeing the fire was great, but that face was because she cared about Ray or the fire?, well later we know that she was only concerned for Ray only because his value as a product.
The youngest kids are evacuated and Isabella still tries to put out the fire to save what's left of Ray and she warns Emma to run away, but she is not with her, but in her tracker she sees that Emma is in the hall, but in the end she just find Emma's severed ear and the fury in Isabella's eyes are a pleasure to see.
Emma meets with her brothers and sisters, Ray is with them and he also cut his ear just like Emma.
The flashback of what really happened when Ray set the match was great, Emma saves Ray while Thoma and Lani prepare a fake corpse with ham, sausages and Anna's braids (how adorable and clever), then Emma gives him a good slap to Ray and reproaches him for stopping with his suicidal ideas and running away with them.
Listening to Norman's plan made a knot in my chest, the boy never stopped thinking about fleeing, at least he leave everything planned to save his brothers and sisters, we also see what Krone left to Norman as her last will.
Ray still seems shocked by Norman's plan and for her part Emma did her part and told everyone the truth about the orphanage and they prepared for that night.
Isabella totally lost her mind, seeing how her beloved orphanage burns in flames must be hard, but she does not care since she can still follow Emma and Ray, but we see how little Phil takes Isabella from her dress and calls her "Mama" .

This episode was undoubtedly very good, now everything is connected and the kids can finally run away, but we see that Ray is surprised to see that not all his brothers and sisters are there to flee, but why the youngest aren't there? and why did Phil stay with Isabella?
The last episode will be the expected moment, the great escape that our three heroes had planned so much.

Thus why I said “may” and not “is.” Merely a possibility, even if in the slightest. Nothing more, nothing less.

They weren't rooms away, we know that Mama's room is at the center of the 2nd floor while the dining room is on the edge of the 1st floor, so it's a whole floor and a quite alot of rooms away

Out of all the little kids, Phil is shown quite frequently and with some interesting expressions. Now, this episode has me interested in his significance. I feel like he's working with Mama. But it wouldn't make sense even after everything has been esplained to all the kids.

damn! another intense episode.
Emma was just acting like she has lost all hope, but she was secretly planning all the stuff and ordering all kids since that is what the last note of Norman ordered her.
oh god, there are some kids that is not included with the escape!?!?
5/5.
one more ep left and for sure S2 is possible with now popular this series is!

I knew Phil was missing. I've always wondered about his character for a while now because frequently, he was focused. I got this feeling he's a very special boy. So I was looking for him the whole time they were escaping. I can't wait for this season's finale. Man! I almost had a heart attack when I thought Ray was going to die.

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

Why the cuttest kid is the one left with mom?

Just why, he was the most innocent and the most cheerful besides Emma dude. He was my selling point in most episodes.
Why he is the one that is going to pursuit mom and stay with her?

God dam this stupid plot twist

I finally found out why the opening likes to talk about fire so much and the reason why Ray's the hottest boy out of everyone in Grace Field. It was really stressful to watch Ray act all suicidal in front of Emma with the intent of helping them all escape and avenging Norman by pointing a middle finger right at Mom and the demons.

It's great that Emma was there to stop him from doing what Ray was intending to do and let him on to the fact that she got everyone into the plan and revealing that she wasn't sitting on her hands for the past two months out of despair. They cut off their own ears so Mom will get tricked by the tracking devices but going that far's painful beyond imagination. I really hope it won't hurt that much once the adrenaline rush wears off.

Emma and Ray finally take action in this episode and it was amazing. Setting up the fire, cutting off Their ears and escaping with all the kids was so great and it was really satisfying to see all of mom come so undone. I’m just sad that they left little Phil behind:(

That fire scene was masterfully edited. Concealment and revelation at its best.

But why didn't they use the zapper to kill those tracking devices? Cutting off your ear is pretty desperate.

Burn the house, burn Ray himself and let Emma try to escape along with the others? NO THANKS!!!

Little did Ray know that all this time, Norman has thought up a plan so effective and so perfect, every single children -I repeat- EVERY CHILDREN- would be able to escape together, at least out of this plant. The children has already known about the truth all along since that night when Sister talked. And wow, for the past 2 months, Emma wasn't messing around, she's just bullshitting her state of depression all the while discussing the strategy for the escape with the other kids SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING GARDEN!

Fuck being covert and silent about it! When they absolutely bamboozled mama to the point that she thought everything was under her control, there's no need to be silent about it since mama will already be full of herself. Brilliant, undoubtedly genius. Norman's efforts are all taking into shape in the form of a successful escape with all of the children.
And I also won't forget how badass Emma and Ray are for cutting their ears up with little to no hesitation at all!

Hmmmnn... Phil... Pls no, this can only be a disaster about to happen...

I enjoyed it but a lot of things are bugging me.

So Isabella was never tricked once by the 3 geniuses, but she doesn't notice that the entire orphanage (including 6 yold kiddos that barely know how not to shit their pants) is preparing a massive evasion, including the preparation of food, clothing, ropes, etc?

Ray plan was so dumb, that it doesn't make any sense for a genius like him. So he's been planning this for 6 years, but his plan included him to die in the fire, to keep Isabella busy? Or you know he could just cut his ear, and, you know, live, escape, avoid the whole burning alive thing.

I'm not even mentioning how dumb it is that Emma and Ray cut their ears, while Isabella has the whole orphanage at the same spot on her GPS tracking thing. She perfectly know where they are, either cut the 37 ears, or none at all

Absolute amazing. The planning these kids is just crazy. So Rays plan was to burn himself down with the house. He definitely has an emo look but damn that's ballsy. I'm just glad Emma caught the match. This time Ray and especially Isabelle got completely outsmarted. Who had thought Emma and Norman planned this all along.

Emma and Ray both cut their ear off ouch, that must have hurt. But 100 times better as ending as food for these monsters. We also finally got to see what Krone left behind for Norman.

These kids are something else. I like the idea that they told everyone the truth. It makes a lot of thing way easier for them. I guess the other kids zapped their transmitters and Emma + Ray were the only ones who cut their ears for distraction right? Otherwise this plan wouldn't make sense.

Is Phil just another distraction or didn't he want to leave Isabelle and the house? Hopefully this will be clarified at some point.

On to the final episode!

I love it when we see dark Emma.
I was not expecting him to try and commit suicide though ai was so happy when she caught the match and when she slapped Ray. And the way they made that certain smell they had. The note Norman left with the plan was carefully thought out and was almost made me cry. I wasn’t expecting them to tell the other kids or the long planning that Emma did. But they left poor Philip he can’t die he’s too cute:(
