| I mean I like it but it depends. For example, Yukari and Takao (Garden of Words) and Nariyuki and Kirisu (Bokuben) I think that's cute. I actually like the age gap because I believe milf is the superior woman. As long as it isn't incredibly huge like a 16-year-old with a 60-year-old. But I did think Tachibana and Kondou from After the Rain was cute because it was pure feelings instead of going after their lust. |

| Not a fan but it depends on the character dynamics and bond. As long as it's not underage, I'm fine. The recent couple in MHA, La Brava and Gentle Criminal, even though they are supposed to be of legal age and there isn't that much of an age gap, but due to the character design, I find myself creeped out a bit. La Brava, despite her age, looks like a fucking kid, and Gentle Criminal looks like her fucking grandpa even though he is supposed to be still in his 20's (or 30's?) |

| I don't really care. By the current trends regarding aesthetics it's rarely apparent there is a bigger than socially acceptable age gap just by looking at the character designs and regardless of their age everyone acts like middle schoolers in romance anime. |

In Anime or Manga... I also don't care as long as no one is a Minor and it wasn't part of grooming. Like having two characters build a father/daughter relationship or w/e and once she becomes of age starts dating her (or even before...) That just seems fairly creepy to me. I don't think I could ever be in love with someone who I saw as my that kind of parent figure in my life. |

(CAVEAT) If a character is in a relationship with someone underaged, I expect that to be explored and not fetish material which most of it is anyway, so just don't do it. |

| AS long as they are above 18 that's fine by me. Like in real life, I don't mind if it's someone with a big age gap as long as both are adults, over 18, but if one is a minor that's a bit of a no go. Even tho I am sure I watched and enjoyed animes or read mangas where that's a thing....I think something like P to K or something like that...anyway, I still think it should be fine as long as both are adults. |

Many know it as the Andrew Llyod Weber musical but it was originally a French novel from the early 1900s. The 'Phantom' Erik was an older, disfigured man, enamored with Christine, a teenaged girl with a lovely voice and he....well, he basically kidnaps her. Tons of people shipped (and still ship) this. But...there was a good 30 year difference between them.
