Anime industry is worth billions, and is one of the few Japanese industries that have international impact left. Japanese government would never attempt to damage it, because Japanese politicians are not very fond of ending industries or companies even if they lose money. The reason why Oreimo didn't get on oblivious incest ending is an actual existent Law, that forbids depictions of incestuous relationships in literature and entertainment. Yeah, there is an actual law, it doesn't affect porn and doujinshi as they aren't considered official, and to some degrees even manga can bypass it, the only instance where I heard the law applied and lead to the cancellation of a manga revolving incest is Aki-Sora, but as Oreimo is a book, the law had high chances to cancel the publication. Is just one of those weird Japanese laws that are very specific or interpreted in a very rigid manner, like the one for prostitution, which is forbidden under Japanese law, but legal brothels keep existing, because for some reason as long as there is no vaginal penetration - so just oral, hand jobs and anal - the Law doesn't see it as sexual acts, nor as prostitution, because the Law in discussion states describe the sexual act as being just vaginal, and the authorities interpret it in a very literal manner. He's currently writing 5 different lightnovel titles as far as I know, and he releases 2 books per year for each. He said he'd die if he stopped writing. |

She did end up committing suicide and I have seen speculation that the world she saw was same as in her stories- cruel and selfish. Knowing her fate Cat Soup is even harder to watch. |
