This year, we're taking our very first MALentine event (from 2014) and recreating it to see what new, fun submissions our community can come up with!  Everyone knows those scanlator group pages where they take a manga scan and change all the text bubbles to mean something completely different than the original text?(See to the right, for an example!) You are tasked with creating a MALentine Story out of either: ♥ Anime Screenshots or ♥ Manga Pages Each MALentine Story must: ♥ Have some kind of Valentine's Day themed plot! Sappy, romantic, bitter... ♥ Be PG-13. ♥ Be original! You need to make your own story, you can't just take the same story where the image(s) come from. The story can use the series' characters, original characters, or relate to current MAL happenings. ♥ Be nice. No slander. If you include MAL users as your characters, you should be 250% sure that your story won't offend. ♥ Not be a novel. Try to keep it short since voters will read many! Need some inspiration? ♥ 2014 Winners ♥ Check out some of our FREE MANGA! How to Submit? Send Cupid-nyan a PM with: ♥ Your story's title. To help us refer to them. ♥ Link(s) to your image story! Obviously. ♥ Link(s) to the original source images. This is so we can see what you changed. ♥ Link(s) to the MAL database entry(s) of the source(s). So we can source it back to the creators. ♥ Creator(s) of the story. Group submissions are welcome! Once we collect all of the entries, we will create a voting thread where the community can view all of the submitted stories and can vote on their favourite one! Submission Deadline Friday, Feb 14th, 23:59 PST You must send in your story before this date! Voting Thread Posted Saturday, Feb 15th Once the thread is posted, you can start voting! For image editing, you can use a program like MS Paint, GIMP (free), or Photoshop. Then upload your finished image(s) to a site like Imgur (no acct needed) and send! | Since anime screenshots aren't like manga where you have multiple panels on one page, does it mean that there is a limit to how much screenshots I can use. I just don't want to seem like I am adding an excessive amount of pictures because of choosing anime instead of manga |

| Aw A Gore Valentine's Story would be interesting though but it sounds like that would be ruled out by the guidelines. It would be unique and I don't mean the Yandere type or the cheating stuff. You could call it an Anti Valentine's concept |
