| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- YES! Nero in human form! She's been advertised a lot in recent promos but seeing her in action is a different story. They picked a fitting VA for her character too. I could get used to this honestly. Second half of the episode got pretty dark with that development.. |

| I already got spoiled that Nero/Secre was a human girl, but what I didn't expect was that the stone of the first Wizard King that has been present since the beginning of the series was the first Wizard King himself! That was shocking. Secre is adorable, loving Ayane Sakura's performance so far. Nice to see that some of the limitations of the magic of the Devil (like he can't just order people to die and the Anti-Magic also affects his monsters) have been revealed, but he's still broken as heck. Those monsters he made with his magic reminded me of the ones the Caster from Fate/Zero summoned. I also found cool how, when he said the spell, his words were portrayed as unholy sounds unable to be understood by the humans and elves. It really makes him feels otherworldly and creepy. The part of the backstory of Secre and Lumiel was so sad. Licht believed in his dear friend till the end and sacrificed his humanity to not give his body and grimoire to the Devil. He, Lumiel's sister and the other elves deserved better ;_; In a way, is funny to think how Licht and Lumiel were with us since the very beginning of the series and we just know it now at the climax of this arc. |

| Damn, we're finally getting to the "truth" behind this devil's ploys. And the first Wizard King has been officially revealed now, how interesting (poor Finral, meanwhile). Licht really was a good man though, certainly didn't deserve such an end. On another note, we're finally going to know about Licht's child/children. about time seriously. But more importantly, Nero in human form! Good VA choice too, imo. Man, the new Op & ED were hyping me so much so I'm looking forward to more of her in the present timeline and Asta's reactions! Not nearly enough just yet! Rematch between the two sides coming up soon, curious to see how that'll play out. Also, seems like the Wizard King and Nero were forced to that state thanks to the devil in the first place, I wonder if we'll get to that by the end of next episode. |

| Finally got to see how it really went down back then. Pretty fucked up... On a brighter note, Nero is a cutie, so hyped to see her in action along with the wizard king. Man, would've loved it if Julius was still around as well :( And props to my man Yami. He's an ordinary human without anything special and yet he's keeping up in this high level battle. |

| Pretty interesting. We finally get the back story for the first wizard king. Turns out it's a lot more tragic than what the intro would let you to believe. Of course it's all linked together with the elves plot, so we've come full circle at this point. |

| Another great episode! This each episode is turning even better with that revelations and plt twists, so much unexpected things! Neru used Finrall to change magick stones for first wizard statue, and he was sealed in it, and the first wizard is now there, Neru changed to human form, so she was as bird waiting for the right moment to resurrect the prince! Sad revelationbackstory that we all were waiting, what a sad backstory that happened to Litch, Tetia and Prince, also Neru! Looking forward to see their reaction to Neru and Prince, and also for the following fights! |
