Starting with railgun (Which doesn't explain the world like index does) and mixing and matching the shows to get the perfect chronological order is just messy. I'm also new to the series and trying to catch up and I've just been going in release order and think that works best. |

| Avoid the release order, u will not care about anything if u start with Index: Railgun 1-14 -> Railgun OVA -> Index 1-6 -> Railgun 15-16 -> Index 7-9 -> Railgun 17-24 -> Railgun S 1-10 -> Index 10 -> Railgun S 11-16 -> Index 11-14 -> Railgun S 17-20 -> Index 15-17 -> Railgun S 21-24 -> Index 18 -> Index II 1 -> Index 19-24 -> Index II 2-7 -> Endymion -> Index II 08-24 >= Railgun T > Index III *You can watch To Aru Kagaku no Accelerator after Index I ep. 10-14 or Railgun S 1-16 + Last Order arc (Index I ep. 19-20). |

You can watch Railgun S pre Index II, though it's not recommended. Railgun S is just too good for its own good. Index II would suck for you in that case. |
