| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was pretty funny to watch. The main character had no clue what she was doing but she was doing really well and she had a lot of fun which is the thing that counts. She went for the way where normal players need a lot of patience but she was having so much fun with the bunny and the hydra that she didn't even realise the time. I am looking forward of the reaction of the others towards the new gear she obtained which looks nice. Also how will her friend react towards her stats. |
| Maple/Kaede really thinks outside of the box when it comes to defeating her foes, especially against that poison dragon, I didn't expect that she'll use her dagger as well. Who else would've though of defeating a super powerful dragon that's way past their level by eating pieces of it. Also, that poor bunny creature, it literally died of exhaustion in a futile attempt to even inflict 1 damage on Maple and all of the bug just nibbling and stomping on her also in futility is hilarious. |

| Maple is cute but she seems like the type of main character you can find in almost any similar fantasy anime these days. The adventurers and themes in this show reminds me a lot of the MMORPG games I've seen these days. An average start imo. That's a stylish looking shield though. |

| Pretty fun episode. I like the main character, Maple. She's so clueless but at the same time got pretty strong. The way she defeated the Poison Dragon but eating it was hilarious. Maple's new outfit and shield look great. |

| Lol, that was quite the unorthodox method of defeating the Poison Dragon. Pretty fun albeit typical, so far. Cool looking shields though, I've to say. Maple is a cute main character, no wonder why she's gotten a fanclub on her already xD, and I'm curious to see how her friend will react to her interesting stats lol. Damn, the friend is some bigshot in the online gaming industry. They'll make an interesting company, I'm sure. Also, who falls for a nap while virtual gaming lmao. |

| It's the anime I was looking forward to the most in this season and I'm not disappointed with that start. Hydra part killed me :D All the convinient things happening bother me a bit, and being a MMO fan myself, it's hard to ignore how broken that game is. But in the end it's a comedy, so I'm ok with that. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| It's like cautious hero and shield hero combined except this shield hero is much more lovable than trashy naofumi. Kaede is a savage lmao. The lady straight up ate a dragon and dominated a cute little rabbit. |

| This anime is absolutely beautiful. Her strolling through the wilderness and fighting small slimes and bees had kind of an iyashikei vibe to it. The backgrounds and backdrops of certain scenes are so good-looking the characterdesign even sticks out like a sore thumb and feels out of place. Both Somali and Bofuri have similar settings in the midst of nature and while one feels more atmospheric and elegant the other evokes more feelings of welcomeness and friendliness. The story is nothing special so far, but I like how he didn't find companions throughout the first episode at all. Her being alone until she faces some sort of adversity she can't overcome alone makes for a fresh twist. Definitely gonna keep watching. Also Dragons are tasty uwu |
| Resistance shouldn't be a skill, and you definitely shouldn't be able to raise it to immunity level. Usually players are punished for bad decisions, but I guess she's never actually going to end up dying in this game or seeing any consequences to her actions to her actions at all. She shouldn't have even been able to kill anything with a dagger and with zero strength, honestly she should have barely been able to carry the shield she had with her. She should have been dragging it on the ground because it was too heavy. And where did the 9 +STR she had at one point even come from? |

| This feels like a Silver Link anime if there was ever to be called one. Not to say that is bad, but it’s very simple VRMMO story, with cute characters and bright and colorful animation. I do like that it basically makes the best tank girl though. It’s fine and it’s basically gonna be my Kenja No Mago. Nothing overly special but fine for background noise. |

| I couldn't stop hearing Shirou in Kuromu and Neptune from Maple(why do they sound so familiar while having different seiyuu wtf!?). As for the episode, it was pretty much the same as the manga, I enjoyed it hopefully it stays the same tone all throughout the anime(so no serious plot please). From the opening too it's gonna go way farther than the manga but only 14 chapter got scanlated so I'm not surprised.
