THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Well, this was interesting. For the final episode, they decided to to also focus more on Mile's real life character. Got to see inner thoughts from her perspective.

Not too surprised that she was able to fight back against the Elder Dragons though. I mean, she's freaking Mile. This was a really fun series imo. I enjoyed it more than most of the other isekai this season.

Almost entire season without proper Mile's character development and then - BOOM! - an entire episode about it. From mediocrity between a human and a dragon after lying on the floor and thinking about her past life and friends from both lives she turns into Mary Sue ( I mean, an updated version). The series could've been decent, but and ending that pathetic makes it totally awful.

I enjoyed this series and what I like about it is the constant references to other anime series. This episode mad a reference to Yu Yu Hakushou with the spirit gun.

I give this series a 7/10.

I can't believe she used the f@#$ing spirit gun and the spirit bomb I'm assuming. I love how we finally got to see mile's family and find out that her parents are just as big otakus as she is with her sister being the only normal one. Overall it was an okay series it did make me laugh and I did enjoy the references but some of the episodes could have been better mainly the one's that involved that weird trio.

Miles family sure was quite the unusual bunch but for Mile they were perfect. While mere dreams it was nice to see Mile see her academy friends again. The appearance of dragon reinforcements while surprising was also fun as they added more amusement in the form of their personalities. The battle between Mile and the three though sure was impressive both physically and mentally as Mile essentially used the pent up power of both her lives to power her attacks. In the end though the battle was a tough affair its nice that they managed to achieve the goal. Though the dragons objectives sure were surprising ones. Im curious to what Mile actually discovered regarding this mysterious civilisation though that caused so much fear in her. Though it was nice that her friends were able to notice and come to offer their aid. Overall a solid ep that managed to end the series on a high note while also revealing enough info to suggest a sequel to which i hope we get. As a series its a definite 7/10 as while it lacked a central villain Azumi Waki's portrayal of Mile as well as the girls development both individually and as a tea, more than made up for it.

Nice episode.

Defeating the three Elder Dragons was no easy task but it's Mile were are talking about.

"A secret family technique" lol. Her friends support her all the way. Love it.

7/10 for this series. I will definitely read the LN for this.

This show was way way better than it should have been. Now that it’s over I’ve bumped my score up to 7/10. I’d def watch a second season.

Interesting finale, we got some more info. Lol Mile's old friends reaction when they saw her action figure was hilarious. I really want a new season of this.

Definitely a lousy way to adapt the dragon fight making it more comedic but I guess it works for this anime. They didn't explain properly Mile power up but well I guess it's fine.

All in all it was a pretty ok anime, I don't think the LN is amazing so the anime couldn't be amazing either but those production value, all the referencing and how they made everything more comedic was kind of a step down.

One thing I'm glad they did was adding reaction after Mile defeating the dragon. Red Oath literally didn't say anything after Mile defeated them in the LN.

So Mile let her guard down when she got swiped by that Elder Dragon's tail... She holds so much power after all. Easy task for her.

I love how we got to see a bit more about before she reincarnated. A family of Otaku's, I can only dream of something like that, would make life so much easier.

All the foreshadowing this episode, really left me wanting more... for god's sake! XD I'll suppose I'll have to add it to my to read list.. Not that I do much with that.. Second season? When?!

Really enjoyable! Gonna miss that catchy opening though! 7/10

Meh. What a horribly dragged out finale.

Mile has quite some time to pull out a huge flashback, re-explain her ties with the girls back in the academy 8wich we already knew about) along with repeating the same thing about Pauilne, Mavis & Reina, all this while the dragon is just sitting there taking the attacks of the three girls.

It's even more ridiculous that 2 more dragons appear with the exact same mindset and personality of the original Elder dragon (talk about writing characters). Their explanation that they are looking for ancient tech of lost civilizations make it even less beliveable that 3 dragons would be in the very same area if they are looking for the lost civilization everywhere in this world.

Mile finding her power within herself from her past life, along with the new life at the academy and her new self with the Crimson vow just doesn't work for me even in a show that nothing is meant to be taken seriously (and discount Kero's explanation that nanomachines grat 30% more powah when the user is focused makes my eyes roll even harder)

I'd wished this adaptation wouldn't had had so many liberties to make such big changes from the source, or at least if they wanted to go for completely original material, at least do it right and go all out, rather than half assing everything and making the mesh of comedy and drama quite disjointed, unlike other shows that had properly mixed drama and comedy, like Fruits Basket for instance.

I was really hoping for a 2nd season announcement and possibly a bigger budget. This arc should really have been 24 episodes at least. It was very rushed and included snips from the first arc back in her own country along with her first trio of friends. The first arc could have been 12-24 episodes as well.

At least they showed the Vow leaving on their journey which begins the third arc. There are so many good stories in it. I suppose if it becomes a second season, they could continue with flash backs from the first arc. They kept teasing such as the four dolls in the window that her friends from school spotted.

There just has to be a second season!!!

I loved the anime regardless that it was low budget quality and very rushed. They did a great job with the internal monologue Mile had about her other selves. That was rather dramatic considering how comedic they presented this anime adaptation. The LN has more drama and far more detail, yet still retains this anime’s comedy and playfulness of the whole story and Miles cheat powers.

The OP was one of my favorites and the animation went well with the music.

Ah hah hah hah!

I loved that moment when they say "its a family secret, right?" Really liked that.

I really REALLY hope this gets a second season. Its such a nice slice of life anime that I cant get enough of. Also cause normal slice of life anime have kind of reached a wall of unoriginality to having a fantasy slice of life about adventurers is sooo good.

Overall absolutely loved this series and pray we get more since a lot of stuff has been getting sequels. 9/10

I do hope there's a second season. It's set up to be really interesting with the elder dragons. It looks like Mile may actually have to reveal here past to her friends soon, and maybe we'll see her old school friends show up in the second season - either because they attempt to track her down, or because the Vow have to travel to the neighbouring countries in order to stop the elder dragons.

I really wanted to give this an 8, but then i watched the ep 10 and 11, and thought that 7 is better for now... For now, the last episode really put the nail on the coffin for this anime, it's been awhile that i was that frustrated watching a single episode(still better than choyoyu)

The episode was just... arggggggh, what were those dragons... what was that friendship overcharge overpowerness...(it is even worse than fairy tail) an for anime laughing at cliches, this was the most cliche episode with the weird flshback, weird 3 Miles, TERRIBLE and CRINGE friendship dialogues.
I always hated this anime for one thing, Mile being too strong, way too strong and not feeling anything when they are in trouble as Mile is way too strong, and here i thought, oh dragons, finally some challenge, can't way to see how it's gonna be resolved, cause Mile can't beat them... right? riiiight?

Really fuck this anime.

I was initially upset because of how they moved things in the timeline and changed a lot from the LN but it's all good, turned out to be really enjoyable and with cute girls doing cute shit and moderate fan service, you can hardly complain. S2 please. Merry Christmas everyone

This show was the one i was looking forward to the most this season but after some of the crap that happened in the last 3 or so episodes plus some of the other shows that ended up a lot better then expected made this one drop to an 8. It was still a decent anime at least and im sure i would watch a second season but im not really waiting for a second season like i am for shows like Re:Zero and a third season of New Game.

Well it depends on the overall reception too. Killing Bites was a season which was essentially all building up to shit going down in a second season which actually got to the point of the story, but because the first season was so badly received it's not going to happen.

I hope they announce a second season soon. This show isn't really original in any real sense of the word, but I enjoyed it's top-tier jokes that were nearly parody at times with all of those references and cliches. I really want to see how this more serious plot with the dragons and ancient civilization pans out.

This was another one of those series that had a lot of potential but fell flat during execution. It barely managed to keep afloat despite all of the holes in the ship. There was nothing that really stood out about this series. The art was not cohesive, the audio was forgettable (minus that catchy as shit OP), the story was all over the place, the jokes fell flat and were repetitive, and the characters lacked any real depth. It really felt like the 4 main characters were together because the plot demanded it, not because they had any kind of chemistry.

I would watch a second season if it came out, but I won't go out of my way to follow this series. This doesn't feel like a bad adaptation. It seemed like a lot was left out, but it doesn't really feel like anything important was missing. Because oif this, I will not be purchasing the source material.

it's a flashback, you can remember something in a few seconds, it just takes long to "explain" it to others... next thing in some animes like Boruto (episode 1 showed a far distant future and then surprise, 500+ episodes of flashback) or even this season's Bookworm girl (which did the same, this full season was a flashback)... are you going to say everything happened while they were in the middle of that fight/scene? SURE.

umad brah? :v
you hate this, while she is clearly strong (i'm sure everyone knew that before starting this), but your favorite novel is Arifureta where the guy literally just destroys everything without much effort, just because of what happened on episode 1? =D
also, using the word "cringe" really downgraded my opinion on you and your forum threads, which i used to think were awesome, good job :v

yes i thought the "3 mile conversation" was a little weird, but since when is it "cringe"? it wasn't any worse than other animes lol

anyway, i enjoyed this anime, i'll give it an 8 (it probably deserves a 7 but whatever)
Mile being op was one of the settings and i knew it from the start, if anything i didn't like how she tried to leave the party multiple times...
their references to other animes made for a lot of fun (even if i didn't know half of them) ,
their interactions were also fun to watch, be it the tsundere scenes from Reina, the scary scenes from Pauline, or the tomboy knight scenes from Mavis, or the reactions from everyone to Mile's "family secrets"

like someone else said, if they don't announce another season i'll probably end up reading the manga/LN, i'm curious about what happens next, not only with the dragon stuff, but also with the ending scene "Mile will tell us everything now" LOL

Feels like there was a lot of stuff here the anime didn't have time to go over that probably would have been important, but the anime was a lot of fun, not quite as special as I'd hoped as girls being reincarnated into other worlds isn't really a thing that happens much. I'm more interested in the source material now so I'm gonna check that out when I get the chance.

Satisfactory conclusion for this series. Mile's "power up" might have needed a better explanation but considering the parodic aspect of the show, I'll let it pass.

Overall, it was a decent series. I wasn't really a fan of the episodes featuring a more serious storytelling and most of the time, the transitions from serious moments to funny ones felt jarring but leaving those aspects aside, this show was an enjoyable experience in the end.

6/10 - Wouldn't mind a second season since that talk with the dragons left me feeling quite intrigued, being honest.

Well. It wasn't the best show of Oota Masahiko. Those little unnecessary bits of drama didn't have enough screen time to do something serious, it would be better to cut them off. Without them Noukin had to be a great comedy isekai anime. The battle scenes also were awful. Too fast, too boring and poorly animated. But... C'mon! It definitely enjoyable. Thanks to cute funny characters and the carefree andventure spirit similar to Endro~! and Log Horizon. The best part of the show - slice-of-life episodes with light humor and lots of references. Misawa Yasuhiro, the compositor, did a great job this time, especially in the beginning of the last episode - such an atmospheric sad music he didn't make since the genius prologue of "Kotoura-san". After all, it was the very first isekai anime with only girls in the main cast. And it tried something new in this genre, where the 50% of all series want to be the new KonoSuba. Yes, it could be way more better. But it good enough for me.

Welp...this wasn't the ending I was expecting.

Going through a flashback of Mile's memories in Eckland Academy before her "untimely death" doesn't seem like a way to convince her that there's more to life than just friends. Oh, the power of friendship and realism to wake up her bloody mind.

Mile's power of "ten elder dragons" eventually prevails, but the girls of the Crimson Vow understood all too well of Mile's usual tactics. And the issue just is kinda settled with the elder dragons having the same mindset as Nano, the same exact way when she was introduced to the reincarnation world, from a dream turned into a nightmare.

But with assurance from Reina, Mavis and Pauline, Mile is forced to question her role, and eventually settled as that. Meh ending...

Overall, fascinating Isekai to ever say on the change of story and content, a mix of good and bad. 6.5/10

So they decided to give some actual plot till the end of the season.

The characters were funny, their interactions were amazing and their friendship was believable.

I loved all the references, from DragonBall to Jojo and everything else in between.

It's sad that the actual "other world" didn't receive much attention and the plot was like an 11 ep. prologue. Not bad, but just barely good. 6/10 for me.

Overall show was just isekai with cute girls doing cute things but both at mediocre levels. Some references were fun but many often just felt like they were shoved in for the sake of shoving in a reference. Weak actions with pretty basic visuals.

Even so though, I would not mind another season, just because the show finally gained some traction with something of a goal. Shame they had to do it a as a last episode though. I guess it's just a marketing ploy since I did hear the LN has some pretty good sales recently.

Even though this is a very generic show overall, some parts of this ep were really great. Which once again shows me comedy just wastes opportunities.

Though I have to say I am more interested in her time before the crimson vow, even her real life seems more interesting than this group of characters.
Elf girl was cute, Miles real life form was nice. Seeing Miles old friends again was good.

The background information about the world and the lost civilizations alone was more interesting than the rest of the show. Why cant we have that? Anyone able to spoil me on that? This actually has me interested, but Im not going to read the source anyway.
