| Not really ashamed, but then again, I don't really discuss hentai with anyone in my personal life very often. I don't think I'd mind if my friends knew, since we're so close. But I'd only discuss it with them if they were also into hentai (which they aren't). As for adding hentai to my list. Eh... It doesn't really bother. I initially didn't add them to my list. But my list was so pitifully vacant, and I wasn't really presenting the real amount of anime I'd seen without them. I'm glad I added them. It's given me a lot more to do on this site. Besides, as long as I keep a neutral tone, no one needs to know weather I do or do not indulge myself while watching them. I also think hentai deserves to be taken seriously as real anime. I hate the excuse "oh it's just hentai" that's used to dismiss criticisms of quality. I also despise all the jokes around hentai. The "offbrand anime", "Alabama", and "man of culture" jokes. I've seen them hundreds of times and they're still not funny. |
