Hypothetically, and we need a subject measurement here, we can allegedly watch 4-5 standardized twelve episodes anime in one day, assuming you don't take breaks, sleep, or circumvent the activity by any means and this is also presuming that you skipped the previews, openings, and endings. An anime gratis of these accessories is approximately 20 minutes per episode of an average anime. You can imbibe 3 episodes an hour, that's 24 hours multiplied by 3, so we can have 72 episodes, transcribing this into the quantity of twelve episode anime, you can watch 6 anime a day if your life is that worthless.

And for my record, back in 2015, I watch 5-8 episodes a day during my heydays.

Edit: But there was a vague fragment of my memory that I watched a long anime, I believe it was HunterXHunter, which I watched 20-25 episodes in that specific day, arbitrary event.

My binging peak was around 2016 when I had nothing else to do but to watch Naruto. Highest amount of episodes I'd ever watched during those days would be somewhere in between 25-28.

basically this. But if you watch anime 24/7 your life is worth more than waifu dakimakuras!

I remember some people here even watching anime a higher speeds. I guess times 2 is reasonable enough if you can read that fast.

I dont know my personal record really but I probably did watch double cour shows in a day.

Theorically 72 chapters with no rest between episodes (skipping ops. And ends.)... that is unviable if you ask me unless you aim for a challenge of beating your record. Speaking of records, the most I've ever watched of anime in one day is, if I remember well, 27 episodes between simulcast series and a whole anime with its all specials and ovas. 124 eps. if we're talking about a week XD

You can probably watch basically every short movie, music video, commercial and so on that's in the DB in one day. At least technically, in practice a lot of time is going to be lost trying to locate them on the internet, but when the entries average maybe 3 minutes, you could watch 20 per hour for a total of 480 entries on one day. That's not all of them, but it is probably the max number of entries possible. Maybe even more if you only watch the shortest ones and can trim the average length down to 2 minutes.
I probably regret this post by now.

I'm not sure whether my maximum is 13 or 26 episodes, because I know I've marathoned 26 episodes, but I can't remember if I did that over 1 or 2 days.

I watched 30 eps a day for a while just recently - the moment I woke up, throughout meals and stuff with maybe just 2 hour break of doing/watching other stuff. I was so shocked when I looked back at the amount I watched.

But it's not really a race for me, I prefer watching everything and not skipping parts even if it's "boring". Of course you can certainly go as many as you can imagine (100s?) if you were to skip past every thing except the parts you're interested in, lol.

Given that an episode lasts 24 mins without ads on average and that there are 1440 minutes in 24 hours, then hypothetically then that would ideally translate to 60 episodes in 24 hours nonstop. But that wouldn't really be realistic. I've known people have to have watched around 40 in a day. I've watched around 24 in a day. But I've also heard of people watching 55 episodes in a day, which is much much closer to the hypothetically projected 60.

24 hours in a day means you can only watch 24 hours of content? Not so. With the magic of enhanced playback speeds, you can watch more than 1 hour of content in 1 hour.

Assume you can only keep up with watching something at 1.5x speed. Then in a single hour, you can consume 1.5 hours of content. Watching non-stop at that speed for 24 hours would result in 36 total hours of anime watched in a single day.

Even better at 2x speed, you can consume 48 hours of anime in a 24 hour period. The only real limit is based on the maximum playback speed the viewer can handle while still comprehending the material.

At normal speed under normal conditions, you can watch around 60 episodes of 24 mins each.
However, if you use Homura's Shield of Time Manipulation, you'll can watch any number of shows any number of times without being judged.

As @MrLegitimacy said, it's possible to watch in 2x speed. So in theory could watch 144 episodes a day. I do however have multiple screens. Three to be precise. This makes it so I can watch multiple anime at the same time!!! 3 x 144 = 432 episodes in a single day, which is 36 shows consisting of 12 episodes. Easy.

You could obviously fit in more if you skip OPs and EDs and stuff, but I honestly just prefer to let everything play through. That means that an average episode for me is about 24 minutes. That makes 5 episodes every 2 hours (120 min).

Divide the 24 hour day into 2 hour chunks = 12. Then multiply by 5 and you get about 60 episodes per 24 hour day, assuming you don't take any breaks while binging.

My record is probably about 8 hours in a day, or about 20 episodes or so. Most of my early binges were 1-cour series, or about 12 episodes. I've only been able to binge one 2-cour series before.
That being said my binges now are usually many episodes of multiple different series at once (like catching up on seasonal). I haven't actually binged a single series in years.

29 episodes in one sitting is my record, but in a 24 hour period it might be 50, i remember watching little over half of Bakuman s1 at night and finishing s2 the next night but i don't know how much has passed since starting s1.

you could have 16 monitors, each running a given episode at 4x speed, though at this point you are barely making sense of any individual episode.
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.

It was a Saturday and the working week had been hard, so to relax, I once went to a internet cafe and watched about 30 straight episodes of One Piece from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. Breaking every now and then to buy whatever drinks and/or food they had there. Honestly, it was amazing. It was the Marineford War arc.

I think two 13 episode anime series, or at most 30 episodes of a single anime.

Well realistically I think 26 episodes, this will leave some time for breaks and foods etc.

The most I have done is around 12, normally I watch 4 or 3 in a week day.
