 The official website for Ezόla's TV anime adaptation of Kotoba Inoya's Runway de Waratte (Smile at the Runway) announced more cast members on Friday. The anime will premiere on January 10 during the Animeism programming block on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS. Cast Kokoro Hasegawa: Ai Kayano (Amanchu!) Honokoa Tsumura: Yui Ishikawa (Violet Evergarden) Aoi Tsumura: Hibiku Yamamura (Island) Ichika Tsumura: Hikaru Akao (Comic Girls) A promotional video, which previews Kayana's role as Kokoro Hasegawa, was also unveiled. A pre-screening event for the first episode will take place on December 14 at the United Cinema Toyosu in Tokyo. Ishikawa, Yamamura, Akao, Yumiri Hanamori, and Natsuki Hanae will attend the event. Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Happy Sugar Life, Sounan Desu ka?) is directing the anime and Touko Machida (Wake Up, Girls!, Harukana Receive) will be in charge of the series composition. | Thought the main focus was going to be about Chiyuki the model. Would have watched this show if that was the thing. Unfortunately not, so pass. Glad someone mentioned in another forum that she barely appears in the story (once every 10 chapters of the manga) after getting attention in the early parts. I dodged being baited by the summary. |
