obligatory meme answer: ❤❤❤❤❤ on a serious note tho, a few that come to mind immediately that i think need more appreciation: -kagome's mom from inuyasha - she was so kind and selfless to let kagome go at the end to live in the other world even tho it meant they would never see each other because she knew it was what would make her daughter the most happy :') -inko midoriya - she was not afraid to stand up to even the number one hero when she was concerned about her son's safety, and she has always been so loving and supportive of him achieving his dream even tho it still hurts her to see him get hurt ;-; |

| The fansub group "your mom" - does anyone remember them? I agree on Eraded though. I like moms that are nice and support their kids. Some stalkerish moms for comedy style are fun as well though. I remember the one from Itazura a Kiss. Or the one from High Score Girl or the one from 3D Kanojo (which had a nice background story). Edit: Also Carole & Tuesday ha ha. :D |
| I haven't really sit to think about this reply, but the first that comes to my mind is Midoriya's mom. The way she supports her child in his road to become a hero is good, but I really love the way she is portrayed by being worried and almost heartbroken as she sees the boy getting destroyed in the process. Basically shows the duality of a mother showing support to her son's dreams, but at the same time can't help but wanting to protect him. Also that scene when kid Midoriya is crying saying he can also become a hero breaks my heart every single time. |

Not to mention, they're either dead or dying so like... there's no opportunity to be an actual good mom? Besides, I'm convinced anime parents are neglectful, since we get so many of these high school kids running around to other prefectures at like 9PM and nobody is stopping them lmao. |
