Isn't that more due to Radiant being a Western source and MAL only listing Asian productions? France is part of Europe, but Korea is part of Asia, so it's possible that Korean webcomics that got a Japanese anime adaptation would be treated differently. Those statements don't really cover what happens if a series gets a Japanese anime adaptation. |

Yeah, I really know about that, but in this matter mal info is not quite right. Even Solo Leveling in Japanese ver, the name of artist is Gi So-Ryeong. Jang Sung-Rak is a writer for the novel. I'm curious where you're getting this from, because none of the Japanese sources that I see say that. On the other hand, multiple Korean sources confirm the credits on the MAL page: Chugong for "original work" (원작), Gi So-Ryeong for "adaptation" (각색), and Jang Sung-Rak for art (만화 on the volume cover, 작화 on Namu). |
