| KnY anime only have like 25 episodes while other great shounen anime like HxH, gintama and Haikyuu has a lot more episodes than KnY. So Imo it's too soon to compare and say "this is the best shounen anime". It would be a more fair comparison if we already have season 2 or season 3 of KnY. BUT if I have compare the first 25 episodes of HxH, gintama and haikyuu to the 25 episodes of KnY, then the results would be like this : 1. Haikyuu 2. KnY 3. Gintama 4. HxH |

| FMAB is the best ever shounen fighting anime by a very long way. But the likes of Death Note and Azumanga Daioh complicate the issue more generally. |
| In my opinion the answer is absoluteky not. I don't want to give too much examples of shounen I think are better. HxH 2011 is the only anime I need, there's no one thing in which Demon Slayer could be better, so how I just said answer is a big no. |

| Without ufotable, this goes unnoticed and gets a rating of ~8 on MAL. No one talks about it after it finishes the first season. Something that has the studio to thank for something so drastic cannot be even in the conversation for best of anything imo. |

| In terms of animation quality, it’s absolutely stunning. But no, it’s far from the best shounen anime overall. Especially when Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Hunter x Hunter are a thing. |

| One Piece is the greatest shonen manga of all time and Attack on Titan is the greatest shonen anime of all time, at least imo. Kimetsu no Yaiba still hasn't passed things like Assassination Classroom. Heck it's even debatable to say it's better than the Promised Neverland or My Hero Academia. And if you ignore the filler, Naruto is still well well ahead of it. Classics like Dragon Ball, YYH and Kenshin are still ahead of it. And you still got shonen giants like HxH, FMAB, Death Note, Gintama, and Jojo. If Kimetsu no Yaiba is your favorite shonen ever that's fine, but we have to use some form of objective judgement (by majority opinion) to accurately figure out its rank and I'm sure most would agree that the majority of the titles I listed are in fact better. Yes Kimetsu no Yaiba's animation and soundtrack hold up against any shonen in history, but imo things like writing, plot, characters, and thematic depth hold much more value. It's way way way too early to be calling Kimetsu no Yaiba the greatest shonen of all time. |

| No. Most of the characters are one dimensional and are extremely annoying. The comedy is often out of place. While Ufotable did great with the animation, the pacing is one of the things that kept me from enjoying the anime, since they dragged out fights with 10 minutes of Tanjiro's monologues and screaming each time. |
| I don't think it comes anywhere near top 10. Honestly, I feel like this is one of the most overrated shows at the moment. |
