| Can a manga reader give me some insight on whether or not they believe that this season can top the ending of s2 and the entirety of s3? I thought those two matches were amazing and wondering if they can even be topped at this point lol. |

They made changes to the eyes, hairstyle, and even body (everyone looks stocky and a bit shorter). Then I watched the teaser to the OVA and it looks like I worried about nothing. If that's what the new Nekoma looks like then I can't wait to see Karasuno and the other teams in action. As far as the actual matches go, no, this won't top s2 or s3 but there are some great character moments coming up. |

If the season is 2-cour, then the final match of the season is a fan-favourite and is up there with Shiratorizawa-quality. Also the first arc of S4 is hands down the best training arc in the series. I feel like there is quite a lot to cover before that. I was, in fact, talking about being the "fan-favourite" match lol and I do think the season will end there too. isn't very well-liked among the international fandom at all even though it's ranked number 1 on the official Japanese manga poll on the best match in the series. Seijoh is 2nd and Shiratorizawa is 3rd on the poll, but I think I prefer Shiratorizawa more. I didn't even know it was a fan-favorite match. I thought the pacing for it was kind of off and that was one team I never really warmed up to outside of one character. Maybe I will feel differently when I watch it in the anime but for me, it's not even half as good as the Seijoh or Shiratorizawa matches. I actually prefer the less popular match I mentioned, even though it was one of the least intense of the big matches but I liked how different it was. |
