Damn i was actually thinking of watching it for a solid second until i read that. The only one decent is 5 Ascendance of a Bookworm but judging by the trailer, the amount of episodes and the things they are going to go trough in 14 episodes its going to be Tokyo Ghoul levels of rush. |

| I'm getting tired of seeing so many new seasons with isekai, but I will actually give Ascendance of a Bookworm a shot. I remember seeing an announcement for it in MAL News and I was about to groan until I actually checked the synopsis. Didn't sound like every-isekai-ever to me, so I actually decided to read some of the manga version. And it was actually a pretty good read so far! The PVs don't look so great, but I'll give it a watch just based on the source material (I know the manga is not the original source, but I have heard that the manga is pretty close to the original LNs from what it adapts). |

'wakes up in another world' ' is being transported to another world' 'being summoned to a different world' I'll probably give Choyuyu and the Ascendance of the Bookworm a try. |

| Isekai gets plenty of flak, but I enjoy the genre. Reality sucks with jobs, college and drama Isekai is a great little 6 hour fantasy trip to escape the slog. Everyone whants an escape from the mundane and Isekai caters to that fantasy, there is no problem with that. We have lots of Isekai this season, but we've also had some heavy doses of reality as of late. Isekai may not be the genre you want, but its the genre you need. |

| Looking forward to the Wrestler one, the rest don't seem all that interesting. On a side note the worst title goes to: Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! The title screams overpowered MC generic Isekai, it might be good, I don't know, but the title doesn't help sell the series at all. |
