| No, although it is in my top 4 alongside SnK, Vinland and Mob II. Let's be honest, no one would be making these topics had it not had a ridiculous amount of hype over it's last 5 minutes of the most recent episode. Some of it was warranted, but up until then, it was a solid battle shounen with some great visuals and a nice OST, but nothing more. It needs consistently good episodes and a unique selling point that make it stand out from others in the same genre. Fancy visuals on their own aren't going to do that. |

| Not even close honestly. One episode doesn't make up for an entire season and s far the show has been a decent one but nothing beyond that. |

| No. People are hyped because of the animation (wich i personally don't like many of the times, it's like I'm watching a videogame cinematic...) but the actual story is the one of a pretty mediocre battle shounen. If you want a well animated show to be AOTY then you have Mob psycho 100 2 |

| Best animation? Hands down (at least so far). Best overall show? I'm afraid not. There have been better shows like Mob Psycho 100 2, YnN, also the currently airing Vinland saga looks very promising. |

| I put this in the same bracket as owari no seraph, average to above average, nothing more. I love plot that has mystery element in at, as well as being a good thriller series, plot doesn't even have to be complicated. These simple plot like my hero and kimetsu just doesn't hold my attention anymore. |
| It definitely have great executions and some incredible moments, but the plot is still nowhere to be AOTY compared to Mob Psycho 100, SNK, YNN, etc (especially Mob). Even Vinland Saga felt more exciting to me than i have ever been with KNY. Not to mention the slow pacing, and the comedy is sometimes too much. I understand where you get the idea of kimetsu being an AOTY tho. |

| KnY has really come a long way in popularity for people to start calling it overrated, it's almost touching. Episode 19's hype wasn't expected at all by me, since the fight is forgettable compared to what's to come, but the adaptation is so good it made the episode one of people's "favorites of all time." I'd say it's a contender for AOTY, but S2 and beyond is where it'd really begin earning that spot easier. I still have my eye on Vinland Saga's adaptation as well. |

| its not aoty, its a typical shonen but its better than bnha (dont know about the upcoming season but i dont expect much, that anime is overrated af) i have high hopes for vinland saga and chihayafuru 3 |
