| hi guys! i'm ary, a rising college 2nd year. i usually lurk on mal but recently i've been wanting to up my activity. other random things about me include: i am a graphic designer/editor by hobby, i'm an audiophile (korean/japanese music of almost any genre + instrumental piano/orchestral music), and my favorite anime genres are probably shonen/seinen/slice of life. this looks like a nice club; looking forward to discussing with you all! |

First of all, if you're not comfortable with calling me Mama (I get said everytime that it's weird for native English speakers, as well as for some other languages too, and I completely understand), then just find me another name, but otherwise, call me that please. ~ I'm a 19 (soon to be 20) years old guy from France. I currently am studying water and environment engineering. I started reading a few mangas in my middle school's library (the first tome I opened might've been Naruto, though I only read it fully about a year ago) around 2011-2012, then started watching anime too, and I've never had too much of an off period after I started going deeper around 2013. I'm a huge romance fan, and I really like drama and slice of life as well, but I also enjoy lots of other genres. I'm also a casual gamer. I'm basically in love with RPGs and I'm a huge Pokemon nerd, but aside from that I don't really have a preferred genre, rather a handful that generally don't interest me. Pleased to meet you, and I hope we'll get along ! |

| Yo mina-san, i'm a wizard otaku de gozaru ha, meaning I'm quite old, 28 yo actually. Yoroshiku de gozaru ha. I'm in love with anime for a long time. And I've made my mind. I'm gonna try my best to be a full-fledged otaku. My favorite shows are : Rurouni Kenshin, Gintama, Re: Zero Hajiime kara..., Overlord, Kazemakase Ran, among many others. I like j-pop, or rather all those openings and I'm a big sucker for 80s. 80s everything. I also love enka, 80s jap music. And soon I'm going to give my best to learn japanese. | Hello, My name is Michael and I'm 16 year old living in Czech republic. I started watching anime at the beggining of 2019 and joined Mal in the april of the same year. I haven't watched much yet so I don't have a favorite but I plan to watch alot of anime in the upcoming summer break. I don't have many hobbies besides anime but I enjoy playing chess even though I'm horrible at it. |

We got people of all tastes and stuff here so there's sure to be people on the same wavelength. Just hit us up whenever you want some recommendations (old or new)! And feel free to check out all them sweet, sweet club features (although most of them pertain to the most current seasons). But also got some history, forum games, personality tests, discussion threads, a Discord server and (hopefully *smirk*) a bunch of interesting people around! Oh, you might be wondering who the heck I am (you probably aren't) but I'm just a humble PRC officer of AG, in charge of the PRC (power ranking committee) feature where a bunch of people sign up to watch and rank a load of anime of the current season. | Greetings, I'm fairly new to MAL, and although I've been watching anime a while Summer 2019 is the first anime season where I'm watching shows as they're airing, a new experience of watching anime for me. So found this club where you discuss and review current shows and thought it looked interesting. I've just finished Boku No Hero Academia 2nd Season, thought it was pretty good (gave it an 8) as I got bogged down by the tournament plot in the middle. Am in the process of watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time (amazing show) and just started Snow White with the Red Hair as well. Look forward to chatting to you all ^_^ |

We have a show called Time Team in the UK where they do live archaeology on tv, it really got me interested in the subject. There's so much cool ancient history all around Europe. I grew up in Winchester, where there are ancient Roman ruins (it was known as Venta Belgarum in Roman times), as well as being the ancient capital for Alfred The Great. A lot of UK history came from groups who migrated from Germany and the surrounding regions (now Netherlands, Denmark etc) and I've always loved some of the deities you get in Germania. |

Recently though, I've been wanting to discuss anime more, so here I am. I have bad taste but expect to see me bouncing around the other forums. I also, ironically, am watching less airing anime this season in order to focus on more shows from the past that I've been meaning to watch. |

| Hi, I'm new to MAL just started to go MAL since I used to keep track of all my anime via local docx or notepads back then, but seeing that this site hasn't gone down yet makes it seems reliable when I had a scarring nightmare of losing all my manga bookmarks to a site that I collected over the years. Joined this club since I was bored and had a friend in here (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧. Nice to meet you all o/ |
