| Even if I wouldn't consider it one of the greatest series, it is definitely a phenomenal watch and has something for everyone to enjoy, and I feel like that's the real important factor. I feel happy with it as number 1, even if I personally would put other anime above it. |
| Never watched FMAB but I spoiled myself the ending years ago.....And yes, any anime can beat FMAB for top spot on MAL. |

Truth hurts I know. Projection is a powerful thing - it is you who are triggered. It's not an accident any anime that transcends FMA:B in ratings somehow gets his score heavily decreased within a year. Kimi no Na wa had 9.41 rating in 2017, guess what, the FMAB fanboys didn't like that, so they did what they had to do to it. Same thing for Gintama season 4 (Gintama°) and the same thing will be for AoT season 3 part 2. Already has one hundred more 1s than yesterday, virtually overnight. FMA:B unfortunately got the status symbol here on this website and many people will stubbornly cling to it, regardless of the fact that it's undeserving of it. Same thing why SAO is overly hated, regardless of how many years pass. Even yesterday, I met a SAO hater while playing online. People are sheep, you're no better if you think no show EVER will surpass FMA:B, when really it has been passed long ago, and like I already mentioned, in my humble opinion, it has never been any good in the first place. I rated Snk Part 2 a 9. i didn't say that all of them did that i am also an FMAB fan it's one of my favorite . i gave it 10 and it's in my favorite list , but we are talking about the downvote it's will go down because of the hundred's of accounts that give it 1 ,1 have a hight affect for a serie that have 9 in score . you can see all those accounts those are nothing there's hundred of theme . SNK have a hight percentage of 10 than FMAB but it have also a hight percentage of 1s than FMAB .because of the FMAB fanboys . I agree that putting 1s for no reason are dumb. However I bet more then just FMAB fanboys give it a 1. Yeah FMAB will have more cause its number 1 and they want it to stay number 1. Which I think it deserves that placement as I think its the closest thing to a perfect Anime. |

| When I first time watched it I rated it with 10 (it's still 10) but now it doesn't feel like it's anything special.So yea imo number 1 can be any anime really it doesn't even matter anymore |

Neat. Also I just want to say, I don't dislike Brotherhood, I love brotherhood, I also give it a 10. I'm just pointing out what I think the reason behind Brotherhood never leaving number 1. It is one of the most popular and one of the most well renowned anime out there for, you know, actually being pretty damn great all around. So of course even if there are fanboys of other series giving 1s to one and 10s to another just to lower or higher a rank, which there most certainly are, its more likely than not the fanboys of Brotherhood have the most power in this situation, since they're numbers far outweigh another series' fans. And I say that to @Lucyxxx |

I did not even predict this season would be rated this high, that just confirm to me that the final season will blow the this season out of the water. |

Whole thing with the plot building up to the climax of the finale was way better than the finale itself and made final episodes well-done story-wise. |

It doesn't seem so far fetched that the final season won't have a strong start as it will be something completely new and unknown. People will get through 9 chapters animated first before we get to the good stuff that starts with chapter 100. That's how it'll be, pretty sure in that regard. ;) -------------------- Other than that I have no intention to join this discussion as I couldn't care if FMAB gets dethroned or not, it's a well received show (in anime AND manga version) either way. | For the long term, no I don't really see any other anime topping FMA:B in MAL, given that for how long a period FMA:B has amazingly managed to occupy the #1 spot on this site, especially consider the massive/enormous amount of userbase this site has. Full props to FMA:B for maintaining the top spot in a popular site like this for such a long period, that just shows how great a show this actually is and how much universally and enormously this show appeals to the viewers. Momentarily? Yup, it has happened before with Gintama, Your Name (Kimi no na wa), Owarimonogatari Season 2, but they all slipped and went down gradually in course of time after time passed and the hype died down. But FMA:B has consistently remained there in the highest spots year after year, without slipping, showing its universal appeal as a show. AoT Season 3 Part 2 indeed came really very close, at the score of 9.23 at its highest from what I saw, but as it's more or less evident now, it has failed to dislodge FMA:B from the top spot. Being a hardcore FMA:B fan myself who believes that this show genuinely is a totally unparalleled masterpiece in the anime world, I always love seeing FMA:B at the highest spot consistently on this site, but I wouldn't have been upset in the slightest if AoT Season 3 Part 2 did actually manage to top FMA:B in the long term, because AoT is my second most favourite anime after FMA:B, and while I do believe that AoT overall is behind FMA:B of course, Season 3 Part 2 of AoT is right up there with FMA:B in terms of quality and jointly ties with it at the top. I'm pretty curious to see if AoT final season can indeed do the seemingly impossible task of topping FMA:B in the long term when it comes out. I do think it's very very unlikely, but if any other show has a chance of topping FMA:B in MAL, I believe that that season arguably has the best chance as of now. |
