Nothing is impossible in Football. Plus, England aren't an elite team.

Yeah but, at least they have football programs and club development, a ton of money and everything. Romania team has some guys who play in England and Italy lower divisions and a few from Hagi's club, the difference is staggering. If it was for Serbia or Poland winning against the brits that wouldn't have been such a surprise, they have coaches and trainers and they invest body and soul in football. We're just sitting in front of our TVs and hoping we have luck with the big guys. If Romania loses by a 2 goal difference against France, they'll qualify for the Olympics.
Well, it's not like I hate a story where the little guys beats the strong guy so let's see what'll happen against the frenchies.

You are acting like Romania is Tahiti xD

Damn boy, I watched France x Brazil women's match yesterday, a bit entertaining but not much. Brazil seemed as if they couldn't handle overtime at all, they were so fucking tired, that's why they couldn't hold France.

Anyway, that one brazilian player, Marta I think, giving an interview afterwards scared me with how much bright red her lipstick was and it didn't come off during the whole game. That shit scary, son.

So? All of the teams in the top 30 are good. Beating a team from the top ten isn't impossible, Football is a game of timing and luck at the end of the day.

Yeah, they did during overtime, 2x1. Even so, I think she seemed angry because she was giving a speech for young girls to choose to play soccer regardless of expectations or something along those lines, if the translator did a good job.

Damn. It’s as if it was yesterday when he scored Spain’s winner in Euro 2008 cup final. Had a great start to his career, but then he started to dwindle with time unfortunately. Still a respectable player.

Yeah, it scared the shit out of me. I can speak spanish, so I could understand a bit of the portuguese she spoke, but damn, lady was angry.
Also, I did some googling and it seems her name is really Marta.

That's fine, but he is getting older, so had to retire in their later 30s though.

I still think his move to Chelsea killed his career. That’s where things took a nosedive.

That what she was indeed saying. She was calling for a renovation of women's team, because she and other important Brazil players are getting old, so soon they won't be able to play anymore. In fact, she's Brazil's main player and got chosen for best female soccer player in the world six times, aside from being the biggest scorer in the history of world cups, both men's and women's, bigger than Klose and Ronaldo.

I still think he was really good playing at Chelsea there, he is still the Chelsea legends to this day. There is also an PES/FIFA patch about him featuring him as a Chelsea legend.

I wouldn’t say he’s even a legend. Not even on Frank Lampard’s caliber in terms of being legendary. He didn’t give much for Chelsea from what I can recall. The only memorable moment I have of him with chelsea is his Barca equalizer in 2nd leg of UCL semi-final in 2012. Not to mention, he had several goal droughts.

I think its good for him to return to Barcelona, Barcelona was one of his first club he played outside of Asia, so he deserved to return there meet up with some of the teammates he meet while still playing there, including the FC Barcelona current legend named Lionel Messi.

As a barca fan I hate the idea of him returning, nothing can make me like him again, I even said bad words to him on his media profiles. (But in my sad soul, I recognize him being the 2nd best player in the world).

I think it's a bad PR move for Barcelona, even if he's a hell of a good player. He gets involved in so many scandals, now there are some accusations of rape and revenge porn against him. I think he should've never left barca, PSG was never a great team if his intent was leaving Messi's shadow and shining on his own merits. Besides, he's always getting injured nowadays. I don't think he's worth the trouble personally.

Romania U21 qualified in the semifinals with a 0-0 against France, but only because France wanted to avoid Germany in the semifinals, had they won the group they would've played Germany, boring match.

Yeah, thought so. This is why I asked, seemed to me like she was giving a motivational speech more than being angry about a loss.

Ridiculous. Are these morons seriously comparing them with Messi? For the last time, they can be paid the same amount when they start bringing in the same amount.

"One male soccer player makes almost double the combined salaries of all players in the top seven women's soccer leagues,"

And you know why? Because that one player brings in 2 times the combined salaries of the top 7 women's football leagues. Fucking hell.

Sooo felix is official, atletico paid 126m for him. While hes not worth it rn I still think this is a very good transfer. Atletico has the money so why not make a big statement and get him.

Also this kids the real deal there is no way he will not be worth it in 5 years. Every time I watched him I was suprised how good he already is

Felix is sure newest generation player of being the most expensive player out there, espacially singing with Atletico Madrid there. He could be the new CR7, especially the fact they Ronaldo is getting older and he is set to retire (he could end his career at Juventus though, once his contract with Juventus expires in 2022), it would be great of Joao Felix joined RM and be the new football star.

Daniele De Rossi, who spent his whole career at Roma, is set to retire. Although it was known in May that he would leave Roma, I expected him to just move on to another club, with him having been linked to a move to Boca Juniors and Fiorentina. It has been rumoured that he will likely continue football as a coach.
