| Miyabi's attempt to act superior sure got foiled by Ao's innocence lol. The classroom scene though was pretty interesting due to the contrasts between Ao's base desires and her own conflicts with them. Still it was good that in the end both were able to overcome it and take the first step. The argument about being virgins at kissing though was pretty amusing. In the beginning i think everyone will be in the same boat after all. Still its nice that in the end they managed to sort this out. Hmm a fun ep that showed their first serious step towards establishing a proper relationship for the pair. |

| i surprisingly really,really enjoyed this since when i started i thought it would be another low budget,hentai looking ass rom com but no,it was great! anyways,,they finally kissed after a whole 12 eps of suspension on what they were gonna do. overall a good 8/10,very enjoyable and made me laugh out loud quite a few times! gonna slightly miss watching it every week |

| It's cute But seriously these kinds of ideals trigger me so much. First it's the annoying "the guy has to make the first move no matter what" cliché for most of the anime despite the fact that Horie is clearly the one wanting to bang 24/7, and just when she finally managed to step up and at least kiss him first, they instead transition to both being upset about the unthinkable possibility that the other one might have had another partner in the past. Like good lord what does it matter? Japan and their stupid virgin obsession is wrong and unhealthy on so many levels If the intention is to display the realism of people that actually think like that then I guess the anime does a pretty good job at it but I really hate these kinds of mentalities in general. They're social norms that do nothing but restrict people for no reason |

| Not a bad episode but the show itself was mostly mediocre and I honestly hated how asexual and dense Kijima was in all other episodes. All that cockblocking wasn't just satisfying enought and can't say I enjoyed this series for this. When compared to Okusama ga Seitokaichou for example this anime has a lot to be deserved. 4/10 |

| After 11 episodes of hesitation or false determination, they finally got to bring us what we wanted from the start. The whole wasn't a pain nor a masterpiece, but I personally find that the 12 minutes episode format helped to keep it on my list. Most episodes had the same taste for me : one wants or thinks about something while the other brings or thinks the exact opposite. Sometimes I wanted to facepalm myself lmao I'll keep my mark, 6/10. For manga readers, did the anime respect the original version ? Or did it bring major differences ? |

| I was almost going to bump this show up to an 8/10 if not for the last few minutes. I really liked Ao's growth with not only accepting that she's attracted to Kijima, but also planning to act on it and mentally mapping out what that would mean, and what her comfort zone is. I also loved that little moment where Kijima admits to practicing kissing on a pillow. It made me wish the series had given him a few more opportunities to talk about his own experiences with falling in love for the first time. But the surprise kiss was totally out of character for him, and seemed like a rushed way to end the series. And this is a personal nitpick, but with all the hemming and hawing Ao did about not being able to focus on her studies, I would've liked her test scores to reflect her mental state, if that makes sense? When she was calm and level-headed in the earlier half of the series, her test scores were great. When she begins to freak out about Kijima her grades slip. Since she came to a better understanding of herself and her relationship, it would be nice to see her scores reflect that as well. But, honestly, I shouldn't have expected that from a show literally called "Ao-chan Can't Study". They're social norms that do nothing but restrict people for no reason Yeah I think the series as a whole was really held back by the mindset of "proper girls can't have any sexual desires of their own or they're ~impure~". i suppose you can interpret this show as commentary on just how harmful that mindset is, told from the perspective of an unreliable narrator, since trying to conform to purity culture and mentally policing herself caused Ao way more harm than good. It didn't really commit to that narrative, though, and the message got a little murky. idk dude as someone who is asexual i didn't really get that vibe from his character. It just seemed like he tried his best to respect the constantly changing boundaries between him and Ao and when in doubt always tried to be safe, rather than sorry. There were moments in the past few episodes where he has acted like a horny teen and pushed things a bit with her, and he's stated multiple times he's sexually attracted to her, he's just not one of those ecchi mc idiots. |

| Sweet finale, they finally kissed and not just once but a couple of times throughout the episode.. Ao-chan was extremely adorable in the last sequence. <3 I can't get enough of her blushes. Overall, I really liked this. It was consistently funny and Ao-chan is total waifu. Major points just for that. 8/10, is there manga left that I can read? |

| good way to end this anime, they finally kissed, and not only once! 5/5 in all, this show gives me a quite interesting female character and her story with her boyfriend (somehow tool). some scenes seem unfit for kids, but in fact their relationship develops a bit slow. animation are quite shoujo, not my favourite but very good, good quality with no fault (found by me). final verdict: above average 6/10 |
| Oh my Lord, Miyabi's words actually convince Ao (and her innocence) to repeat those actions towards Kijima. And no doubt the high point that they FINALLY kissed each other, accepting their feelings, not even once! Dat "kisu" joke really... Overall it's OK, but enjoyable. |

| THIS IS THE PERFECT END FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, an ecchi anime like this turned out to be a sweet rom-com with the main characters have a complete opposite personality, a study freak pervert and a goodboi who looks like a fuck boi. damn that end where she got an F at the end was hilariouuussssss overall 8/10 would recommend to veteran weebs |
| It surprisingly got a great ending. For an anime with most of the story goes pervert, getting a decent romance with beautiful kiss scene at the end is a huge raise for my final score. Even without a dating ending, we can assume their relationship is in a right way, so we can let them leave this season in a relieve. Final score: 8/10 |

| And in the end, poor Ao couldn't study shit xD Pretty average series overall. It had its moments but as a whole, I really didn't enjoy it that much. The first episodes were OK but then the sudden "love rival" drama appeared with Miyabi's introduction, who honestly made the anime even less enjoyable for me since I found her character really annoying. Leaving the love triangle topic behind, Ao running in circles regarding her feelings for Kijima during the following episodes made the story progression felt repetitive and boring, which was a shame since I thought it would be different but well. 4/10 - This final episode was actually nice, by the way. They finally kissed and were able to have an honest talk. Though Ao acting so "tsun" about the kiss was a bit too much for my taste. |
| This series really blew away my expectation. The comedy was strong in most episodes, but what surprised me the most was all the really cute romance moments that actually got me invested in their relationship. This episode in particular was extra cute. I absolutely loved Kijima's response to why the kiss was good even if was both their first times. I know it's cheesy af, but I was literally thinking that exact thing, so when he said it I was pretty excited. |
