| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was fucking amazing. The levi and beast titan fight was incredible, the censorship wasn't even too bad. RIP Armin, he really stepped up here and without him Eren wouldn't have been able to take down Bertholdt. Definitely going to need a rewatch before giving my rating. Right now however, 10/10. |

| Damn, more bodies dropping. About time we got to finally see Levi vs the Beast Titan in direct combat. Pretty impressive for Levi to get him down like that. Voice acting was pretty intese in that fight imo. The attack on the Armored Titan was intense imo, got the point across. Armin decides to act on another plan and I have to admit, he's got guts to execute it. |

| Ahhh....I think I know the OST during Levi vs Beast Titan scene, no wonder it sounds weirdly familiar It was the same (albeit remixed) OST in season 2 last episode when Hannes vs the titan that ate Eren's mom (can't say her name due to consideration for anime-onlies). That OST isn't supposed to be epic nor blood-pumping, but it fits nonetheless. This episode used that track's remix version, I might need a HD version of the scene to make any final say on that. Overall the episode is simply legendary, huge props to Wit team and VA! (You will be surprised how much impact the scene gains from those memorable voice-acting) It's funny the corresponding manga chapters were released in May and June 2016, and we all joked it might take forever to see it animated (at that time we did not even see season 2 yet), but look where we are NOW (just 3 years!), they are animated and oh boy, aren't they GORGEOUS 7-page-Muda and AOT ep5 in the same week, man what a time to be alive！ I am grateful PS: It's kinda funny the remaining scouts vs Armored Titan gets so little mention, those scenes are unbelievably blood-pumping and straight gives me goosebumps. Also, add me to the Imai appreciation group, since he is the one responsible for the Beast Titan vs Levi and Eren vs Colossal scene |

| Great episode. I'm a bit disappointed that Levi lost his cool there. It seems other two also are still alive. It could've been finished by now, but I guess there is some twist next week again. Need to watch it again when subs are out, I think I might've missed some details. |
| I waited so much time to watch this scene animated... It was worth the wait. So much sakuga in this episode and that scene... But I think the OST wasn't the best for this fight. |

| Marlo's death has always been kinda sad for me, yet also hilarious in a way. Now I rather tend to feeling the former, I mean, he was part of the change, but he obviously questioned his choice during his last moments and even seemed to regret it. Levi was so badass, as expected of him. However, the real star of this episode was Armin. He and Erwin gave up their dream, what a sacrifice ;_; Victenn said: Haha, english natives speakers still waiting for subs. | Watched it in 720p but still, incredible animation on Levi's bloodfest and Armin's sacrifice. The enjoyment was over the ROOOOOOF. Frigging love this show, it also reminded me of parts that I didn't remember in the manga, like Armin's plan, the CLUTCH hold on colossal's teeth and finally how Eren finally gets his first? nape kill. Now to wait until crunchyroll gives me ten eighty pee |

| Levi vs Beast titan was kinda disappointing in anime compared to manga in my opinion but armin scene was handed really good, If I be honest this season by far has a hit or miss animation compared to uprising arc which was barely even about action. Hope new animated studio do a justice in season 4. |
