| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First episode preaired online. It's about 13:30 in length. Looks like this follows more of a slice of life storytelling format than the usual battle stuff we see from the original show. Ugh, that food though. There's some slight fan service in this too. The theme songs are okay I guess. I'll stick around for the fun.  |

| The animation quality is little bit meh, but other than that, i would definitely enjoy this same as i did enjoyed the main series and spin-offs. PS: cant wait for Road to Berlin. |

| This seems like an omake rather than an actual series. The character designs are different, the animation looks like it's done in flash, and the characters seem to have different character traits. This is non-canon, change my mind. |

| That's a disappointing first episode Yoshika just stands there like a idiot ,usually she hunts for breast to grab =P and are full off spirit .and no interaction with her girlfriend Lynette either wtf,,,, Boring hopefully it improves. The first and second seasons of Strike Witches are really good |

| While I'm a supporter of short format anime and I do enjoy the Strike Witches franchise, this is a tough sell. I don't really feel the characters are acting unreasonably different than the main series, and it is nice seeing them again. Buuut, the comedy is pretty lackluster so far and the animation speaks for itself. Cons outweigh the pros so this'll probably be a drop after I give it a few more episodes. Got the feeling all the episodes are gonna pace and feel the same making for a pretty forgettable experience. |
| I wonder why kadokawa and funnination production want spent only 12 - 13 mins. Instead use only 24mins. Per anime.. So far their are 4 anime now consumed time for 12 - 13 mins. Including this anime |

| My first immediate drop in ages. The art is honestly disgusting and it's not like there is any real plot to be had. Shame too as I like the franchise, but this does absolutely nothing positive for it. |

| Although there was some decent amount of funny moments, I was expecting a little bit more in terms of production, even in a half-length episode form as well. Visual wise, this looks a lot weaker to the likes of Isekai Quartet. Still, I did like the episode, so I'll keep my expectations to a minimum and hopefully I'll find the rest of this short series enjoyable. |

| So, this was the anime I was more hyped about, even tho I knew it was gonna be a short SoL spin-off with no ecchi or action, I was prepared for the return of one of my first shows, I still gonna watch the whole thing, but god damn it, is too much to ask for some decent animation? |

| So many ill-informed people coming into this thinking this is a new season/sequel? No offense but... are some of these people stupid? lmao, this is a spinoff based on a 4koma. To compare this to the main entry of the series is like... wat. Even more funny that most of these people being unreasonably angry actually think they are Witches fans themselves. ;p |

| Along with Road to Berlin in 2020, in addition there is also Luminous Witches in 2021. Pretty sure all the budget went to those two things, and it would explain alot too. |

| This was a lot of fun. Laughing super hard at the autists who have a problem with the animation. This easily could have been mindless cutesy bullshit, but they said 'fuck it' and made this into a pure comedy in every way. The manner they're drawn only adds to the charm of their behavior. Obviously this isn't a third season, and this reaction is why die-hard 'fans' are the biggest problem in any franchise. But wait, people don't like Brave Witches either, I guess it's always 'we want more of the same.' |

| I read some of the comments of people expecting this to be a serious series. Do you people not research stuff? this is based on a 4koma spin-off that is basically a series that is nothing but comedy. It would also explain that the lack of proper animation. This series is not to be taken seriously thus they didn't put a proper effort intro it. |

| At 1st seeing the op i was like okay, the pantsu trait is being carefully close in order to get more audience friendly for all ages, i was like, okay. Meh i don't mind. i have seen the series, and the movie. i am a big fan of the SW series but, my most favorite is the 501st JFW unit, the anime series really had me hooked up of all individual member of the unit, which i really want to cherish and remember it a lot, but, the art style, the animation or visual just made me lost my appetite or like, the visual just ruin what i have in mind pf the entire series entirely, the little side story of THIS series could be enjoyable and fun, but, i think i've had enough. i will BE SKIPPING THIS side story. Thanks but no Thanks. |

| The biggest mistake I've ever made. I thought this was season 3 so when it started playing I was really really worried they screwed everything up. Only to then actually read the title and compare to season 3 XD. Once I realised this I really enjoyed the episode, very funny looking forward to the next. |

| I have no idea what to make of this. This art style... this is not the Strike Witches i know and love!! D: Aside from the weak animation there's nothing particularly wrong with it aside from it's odd spirit... At any rate, it is nice to get me some more of these girls, though i was really digging the more plot-heavy latter end of the series, especially with the movie and ova series, it was really getting interesting and iw anted to see it expand into more of the universe and characters that i've seen from various other media. I really love the whole concept behind Strike Witches and always wish to see more of it taken seriously and handled well. I think i can put this in a similar vein to Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu, where it just doesn't really fit into canon nor is particularly important, but it was cute so what the hell. |

| Wow the animation is utter crap, did the animators blow the budget on beer and hookers? I really hope that it gets at least a little bit better, I only really expect this level of animation in the middle of a season. |

| Here I was thinking it would be a 2019 quality like some other animes are doing this season. But instead we got like 2001 quality.... Story is funny, but the animation literally butchered the series. I am not sure if they're doing this on purpose or they ran out of budget or something... (but it feels like they never had a budget to start with, since most other anime's quality goes down from budget only starts after a while, where the beginning episodes are all still good at first since there's a budget, but this... starts right from episode 1) I think this is a mini-shorts anime with next to no budget, IE: it's meant to be a web-release series. Similar to some other series with low quality we had before that was web-releases. |
