I don't really get what you mean with the surreal aspect of nature, I actually just find it quite... normal? I've not done a whole lot of hiking, mostly because my rotulas suck and I die if I move my knee too much, but I've had my few long walks and I don't really like them that much. I've also done some camping, only once, was abused by my fellow senior boy-scouts tho. smh. If we are talking about things to appreciate, you know I'm more of a romantic guy and also somebody who's a fan of impressionism so it's not really the nature of the city that make me appreciate a walk, it's usually the atmosphere. :s Yeah mayt. Come to Italy, there's plenty of stuff here. If you come I'll be your guide. Favourite places here which I think you might also enjoy are Villa d'este, which is a big garden decorated by 100 or so fountains... and "Parco dei mostri" which is another weird thingy that incorporates some monster-resembling sculpture inside a forest - photos can't really make justice for these two locations. |
