If I were in his place I wouldn't be that surprised, he already knows that her personality changes based on his two interactions with Bakaguya. I would just think "Oh? Another personality?" The one thing I understand is that he probably thinks she's angry, but wouldn't you think they're at the point of him just asking her if she is? I just hated seeing him so calculating even now and her so cold to him :\ But he had already found it difficult to deal with Ice Kaguya in the past (although Ice-chan was his first crush). It's not as simple as dealing with the harmless bakaguya. This one is extremely intimidating. |

| So basically the final step to their relationship is coming face to face with their old selves, kaguya's colder attitude shes using as a form of protection from facing responsibility and president's insecurities and overthinking that prevent him from acting on his wishes. But more importantly, man this chapter was funny as fuck.  I for one look forward to a few in-universe days of obfuscating stupidity before the actual progress is made, especially since this might be the last time we get to see midngames like this given that this bit pretty much outright says christmas is where they will be official. Now if we are at status quo after christmas wraps then fuck that |

And there's an error at the end there, we are actually 2 days before X-mas, not 3.... unless the Live Action advertisement chapter was happening at the end of the third day before X-mas and not the second as it states... |

Seeing some comments here made me realize that he is the most underrated / underappreciated character in the manga, heck, probably in the entire romcom genre. Good thing is that he is adored by Japanese readers. Well, I guess I am one of the few here outside Japan. I simply adore him. |

| The thing is: Kaguya threw two very straight pitches, which 99% of normal people would have been able to pick up on. Miyuki is just completely off the rocker, because he is shocked about Kaguya's visible change, and by expecting super-subtle mindgames he is overlooking the super-obvious tells. Of course this is not fun for the reader. In fact, this was definitely the most vexing and least satisfying chapter of the entire show so far. But then again, it wasn't meant to be enjoyable. It resets the relationship to a different level. And Miyuki needs to learn quickly to cope with this... or see his gradual progress he made all slip away. Don't worry though - he'll definitely be able to do it. I suspect we'll get some more crises before he gets a handle on this, but I'm absolutely willing to see how Miyuki needs to change from his perma-mindgame mode to a more normal behavior towards his love interest. |

| I just can t believe How people can blame Shirogane While kaguya was a total bitch almost all chapter, Shirogane confessed to her then she kissed him They can easily be a couple now BUT OF COURSE she had to come and say She is not planning on dating him, Their kiss means nothing and after all of that She got angry at him because he couldn t catch her holding hands signal ARE YOU KİDDİNG ME ? she literally broked his heart, hurt his confidence, made him emotinally unstable and People blame him for not realizing A girl who just rejected him one hour ago wanted to hold hands with him ? Sorry but İn this Chapter kaguya was more bitch than she was in any other chapters combined, I am so dissapointed with author for using this İceguya bullshit to prevent them from becoming a couple |

This Kaguya is what we need to get Prez out of the mind games and advance on their relationship, remember last chapter when she said that she was the one taking this relationship more seriously? yeah, she meant it. this might not be a satisfactory chapter for you guys now, but it definitily is essential for a satisfactory long run. She shifted because she is afraid but also because she does not want to go back. the first kiss never ends. Shirogane needs to learn how to deal with the more then friends status quo |
| Now that I i had time to mull over this chapter, This is what I don't get, I've seen people saying that Ice Kaguya is here to end this whole mind game mentality, but the impression I got was the complete opposite tbh. In fact it felt like she was the one who went back into that mind game mentality. Ice Kaguya treats Miyuki like garbage, then immediately after expects for him to make a move. She's sending conflicting signals and not being direct. Plus this sudden change in personality has got Miyuki even more confused, which is causing him to overthink things even more, which in fact caused him to be ignore Ice Kaguya's attempts for him to hold her hand. Ice Kaguya's methods are bringing back the mind games that were already fading away before. So that's why to me it felt like we were going backwards in the wrong direction instead of forwards in the right direction. And honestly I'm not a fan of Ice Kaguya, she comes off as the worst kind of tsundere, who's just unnecessarily mean and selfish, which is also why I didn't particularly enjoy this chapter or find it very funny. I just hope this one of those one step backwards and two steps forward type of narrative moves and that it doesn't go on for to long, cause the sooner Ice Kaguya melts, the better. God I hope the author isn't just using this to stall actual development either, cause that would be a low blow. |

Old habits die hard, afterall, but she is trying to put it aside. I can't blame Prez 'cause he is traumatized with her, but how in the hell is a "shall we kiss now?" going BACK to the mind games? we could argue that this could bring out new types of mind games but this is not going back. When would normal Kaguya ask in this obvious way that she wants to hold hands with him? Ice Kaguya just want to be kissed (this is going to be a chapter name someday), she was trying to say to Shirogane that she wants him to spoil her. That backfired hard because of her bitchie attitude and their past, yeah, but she is legit trying to move foward in this relationship. I think that she is necessary now because this will drop Shirogane's guard for the mind games and therefore make a relationship where no one is trying to top the other possible (even though it will casually happen, like I said, old habits die hard) and this would need to happen sonner or later so I'm glad it is happening before they begin dating 'cause if this kind stuff isn't dealt with, it can lead to break-ups, on real live anyway. I hope this "The first kiss never ends" arc finishes or have it's climax with Ice Kaguya getting sick of Miyuki overthinking and just shout "just kiss me already!". |
