The anime is celebrating the franchise's 10th anniversary, along with Strike Witches: Road to Berlin and Luminous Witches, which are scheduled to premiere in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

More Strike Witches is always welcome, but I'm looking forward to the real show much moreso than the chibi shorts.

The way I see it, whatever Strike Witches we get is all there is at this point. Sure, 1937 Fuso could easily be animated, but it would only really encompass a special. Don't get me wrong, I definitely want another season, but they have to be written from scratch now.

There is actually a new real series on the way.

Yeah, that one I'm excited for. I suppose I jumped too far forward; the main series addition is definitely important, but the fact that there's nothing obvious in the works after it make the shorts much more enjoyable, in addition to any future shorts they produce in the wake of the show.

Though, my research skills are clumsy: I read the article as there being a new show in the works, but if they actually have multiple seasons planned, then I guess I'm wrong. (I honestly don't want to open up the announcement page right now because I'm in public :P)

I'm more interested in the idol anime, especially since it's a good way to tell if anime will be back to normal post 2020 or not (It airs in 2021).
