It feels heart crushing to see a really good anime with a strong potential to develop into multiple series die out so quickly.
Example: For me it would have to be Death Note since the ending felt a bit rushed. Did you feel that an Anime that you watched could've stuck around for a bit longer? If So post the name of it hihi! :3 Add your reasons behind these aligations to keep things interesting!

Puella Magi, for character development purposes, and to have shown Homura spending more time with Madoka.

Pandora Hearts and Loveless, to eliminate ending randomly and abruptedly on a cliffhanger.

Love is Like After the Rain, so we could see more of the relationship development.

Another Lady Innocent, because I know it's a hentai, but they were actually giving us the beginnings of an interesting plot and then???? it ended????

Violet Evergarden, because I need answers.

and Re:Zero, because I just need more Re:Zero.

Let's ignore all the "need another season" shows and ask if there were any shows I think would be better if they had more episodes but the story is already done.

Angel Beats comes to mind, since for it's fairly large cast of seemingly interesting characters, so few of them have any time to shine.

Yuri on Ice could've used more episodes instead of cramming an entire ice skating season into one anime season.

Those are the two big ones where I felt they got hampered by their shorter length. The rest, there's a ton and a half of shows I want a continuation to, but listing shows I think need another season gets long and less interesting very quickly.

I wished Lucky Star would never end. Such a cosy anime. Other than that any episodic anime that I've rated highly.

The manga entertained me more than the anime for some reason. (Maybe because some content got taken out when animated) I loved every over reacted facial expression by Erika Furudo though!

I think the anime is based on Light novel and not in manga.
The manga is awesome!

I like the visual novel version- but I haven't tried the manga so maybe I'll give it a go!

They should've animated the ending to Red Data Girl and Ghost Hunt. It was only 1 or 2 novels left and the final part highlights the biggest mystery of the characters in the entire series.

And then there's Shakugan no Shana. Seeing Index, Zero no Tsukaima and FMP getting new seasons is depressing because producers now know what NOT to do because of what happened with the final season of Shana.

It would be Handakun and also Death Note.
Srsly, the author should write more stories like Death Note.
We all tired of seeing those shounen battle manga and boring slice of life.

Top of the list are probably Uchuu Kyoudai (ended in the middle of a new arc, has tons mroe source material) and Juuni Kokuki (ended on a freaking recap episode, sadly the source material never got completed either).
I probably regret this post by now.

Uchuu Kyodai. It's the best space related anime I've seen and it's missing a couple of arcs to conclude the story. I wish it was infinite though, like One Piece.
I had no idea One Piece had so many chapters when I first started reading it though I had already commited and I wasn't dissapointed, a lot of my friends dropped it because they give up on any story that takes up more than 10 episodes to build a characters persona and telling bits of a story to make progress towards a new segment. OP is just one of those stories in which ya need to invest some time to really start to feel like the character's development is expanding as well as the overall plot.

Shirobako was intended to be ~52-episodes with characters rising up the ranks with each cour, but unfortunately it had to be cut down to 24-episodes. Not complaining since it still turned out well, but it could have done even more with 52-episodes. At least there's still a film coming.

Skip Beat and Akatsuki no Yona were cut horrifically short just after big moments their respective shows. They were so abrupt too, and it sucks not knowing if they'll ever be continued. I mean, the manga are options, but after being introduced through their anime, it's how I'm most familiar with those franchises.

Erased 100%. Like 3 more episodes and it would've been perfect. Personally I think the ending we got isn't bad, although many think that.

True, forgot about that show. I was reasonably satisfied with the ending we got as well, but yeah, a few more episodes and it could've been one of my favorites instead of a pretty good show.
