| I'm going to ignore those anime I dropped in 1 episode, and only mention anime I actually completed because that'd be more meaningful and objective. Worst anime of 2018 I watched 1.Persona 5 the Animation hands down. Such a lackluster/ mediocre adaptation. The animation , art, combat, and plot pacing is horrendous. Characterization is laughable too since it skip way too much. I didn't drop only cuz I want to see how bad it can go , and yes, it only gets worse later on. (I beat the game and loved it) 2. Darling in the Fraxx: The art, animation and music is pretty enjoyable, but plot and characters are just laughably bad. It's not just the infamous last arc that's bad, the whole story is pretty terrible and inconsistent. Oh, and the casts, it's rare that there's a show I hate almost every characters in it, but Darling in the Franxx takes the cake. 3. SAO Alternative GGO: The first 3 episodes are very promising despite some ridiculous moment, but later episodes went to shit really really quickly. They set up a tone which strategies and player's experience matters in the first 2 episodes, but then later on toss those concept into garbage can and let mc becomes Kirito 2.0, which is just laughable. The worst offense being the ending which they don't bother explaining antagonist crazy motivation in the end, and just leave it an open ended happy-go-lucky ending -> fitting to the retarded premise of this show. I have expectation on this one base on first 3 episodes, but it went to shit later on and never recover, and become one of those "so bad it's good" show. |

| I'm surprised so many people forgot about master of ragnarok this was unwatchable even for the isekai/harem lovers ( like me ) although there was a lot of bad anime this season ( thanks franxx and tokyo ghoul ) tbh I don't even understand how tokyo ghoul continue to gets adaptations even if they are so freaking shitty |

| I try not to watch shitty shows, but FLCL Progressive caught me off-guard. It was a poorly thought-out FLCL fanfiction that went nowhere, with sloppy characters and plot ideas that seemed like a dollar store recreation of FLCL. (Alternative is better, but still not quite FLCL.) |

| From what I've seen, Souten no Ken Regenesis and Mahou Shoujo Site are the worst. These are absolutely unenjoyable, not even laughibly so. Fate/Extra is runner-up. |

I didn't even finish the 4th movie. As soon as Sora got her face licked i was done. It was bad enough hearing "Mei Mei Mei" constantly in the other two movies. Not a fan of the new characters at all. | I dropped most shity anime so early that saying I watched them would be disingenuous. But I watched 5 Spindes of how to summon a demon lord and it was truly awful, I only managed to with through so much of it cuz at times it was so bad that I enjoyed laughing about it. |

| I'd say that "Grand Blue" is probably among the worst things from 2018, or at least it's the most overrated thing. Also, if that "Conception" Anime looks as bad as the game does, then it must be awful. "Dorei-ku" is another Anime that I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole, but at least the guy in it named Seiya looks hot. Actually, I've watched the first season of Pingu in the City, and ironically, it's pretty good. I've already started watching the 2nd season. |

| Planet With. Don´t like the premise of beating the super heroes and letting the bad guys win. Also don´t like mecha Master of Ragnarok. The norse setting is cool but the pathetic childhood friend ruined it in the end. Also Himoto House, Darling in the FranXXX and Juni Itou Collection Tokyo Ghoul wins the award for the most dissapointing sequel (certainly this year, possibly ever made) From what I haven´t watched: Jojos Bizzare Adventure. All screenshots I see just muscled guys in feminine outfits. Looks really gay |

| So are people still under the misconception of Citrus being a rape fantasy or some bullshit? As for the thread, I'd say Darling in the FranXX, but I honestly haven't really seen much other things this year. I'm thinking of checking out Goblin Slayer to see if it's really as bad as people are saying. |
