One thing that best describe this anime is that:

"The only people will remember you is when you're dead"

I really hate the MC's family. They didn't care about the geezer before when he's still a human and now he became a machine that's the time where they care about him. My god, he needs to become a machine first so that his family can recognize him mentally, physically and emotionally. What a fake family. I'am so sad for the geezer, at the very beginning until the end I feel so sad for him because he didn't deserved that kind of treatment. But at least at the end he made all of the people around the world to recognize him and he left a mark in people's head. I love the ending, just perfect.

Overall Score: 8/10

Watched it for the hype and didn't like it. Felt like it was all over the place, especially the scale and pacing felt off to me. On the contrary, I really liked Ajin and was entertained by Gantz.

Does TV broadcast has any censoring? is it better to wait for BDs? Holy shit it seems they let out final page, though they probably will never add in BDs, but then again Gantz uncut had all kinds of stuff, compared to crappy broadcast, so.......

Good episode but when Hiro came into Ando's room I thought he was gonna kill him but as soon as Ando said wanna read the new manga?! His expression changed from a dark gloomy serial killer to a happy puppy-like kid i had to burst out laughing that was so weird. Hiro is really an interesting character

lol at the trump scene. I had a feeling hiro would sacrifice himself to save the earth but grandpa also die that took me by surprise. Anyway it was a good short entertaining anime I really enjoyed so I give it a 7/10

Hope the aliens fix hiro and grandpa in the space so they can again kill/save people on earth lol XD

Wow, so even Donald Trump is a jerk in this sho--oh wait.

The whole asteroid scenario felt a bit anticlimactic, but the feelings are definitely there. I can really feel for Inuyashiki. He made the ultimate sacrifice to protect those he loved, such that they can continue to grow & pursue their dreams. His once ungrateful family has now enshrined him as the husband and father that led by example and has forever shaped their lives.

As for Hiro, I think he was trying to atone in a way. Earlier on, it was hinted that he finally realized the weight of human life. Perhaps that finally set him on his course. It's difficult to say with him, though. Certainly, Hiro's persona was very dynamic & whimsical. He found it thrilling and reaffirming to kill others, but I think it was only because he resigned himself to no longer being human. Ultimately, I think he just wanted someone like Shion who would accept him in his new form and still acknowledge his humanity.

Well, this whole thing was certainly...different. No, scratch that. It was bizarre. Totally zany. Completely out of this world. Now with that said, it was particularly interesting to see the contrast in Inuyashiki & Hiro's use of the same power, both for good as well as great evil. Although with how edgy this show could get, it felt like nearly everyone was evil enough to contend with Hiro. I also can't say I was overly fond of the CGI. It was really ugly and made supposedly serious moments feel too comical. Overall, I'd say that Inuyashiki had some fine moments, but suffered from an awkward execution that kept it from being the next Parasyte.

Absolutely pathetic anime from very start till very end. Even though it tried so hard to be crazy (trashy is better word for a such bullshit) it also was predictable since all of cruel moments were there just for fan-service purpose and when meteorite appeared on horizon I was glad because it's meant that author and anime studio wanted to kill anime by killing its main characters (it's a typical move for studios after failures). In summary we had incoherent anime with tons of plot holes, weak personalities, bad realized action scenes and total mess in terms of whole story. Inuyashiki reminds me another pathetic example of "shock content is best for selling!" anime - Elfen Lied, so 1/10, music is good though.

You completely missed the mark in regard to Hiro's chracter, it was highlighted throughout the show constantly that he only cares about his friend's and family. Everyone else is apathetic too everyone else , has no qualm killing strangers. Even with psychopathic tendiences he will still protect the ones he love. Hiro never changed and his character was consistent throughout the show.

As far as endings go, while somewhat emotional, it was pretty uneventful. Although I will admit that it wraps up the whole "What will the countries of Earth do to this alien-tech grandpa?" bit that would have inevitably have happened since his exposure. Would have been nice if there were more scenes of people connecting the explosion on the meteorite to the disappearance of the savior grandpa and mourning his death, ultimately giving his life a hell of a lot more noticeable meaning... But whatever... They only had 11 episodes.

Overall it was pretty fun despite cheaping out on animation, so... 7/10

On one hand they had to die. It would be too much pain to do a happy epilogue for an immortal cyborg.
On the other, I hate how they just self destructed one after another. After Hiro's simulation turned out wrong, he just decided to trust same simulation? Not much choice I guess, but it could've been done better.
Other than that, a beautiful end. I'd wish for some more epilogue beyond those few scenes.I'm satisfied nonetheless.

Those aliens screwing up their teleportation had given Inuyashiki and Shishigami the ultimate destiny to save the planet by sacrificing themselves for the ones they love. Even if Hiro was the cruelest and most selfish one among them, I still figured that he'd be the one who'll be sacrificing himself as a means to finally redeem himself because of how he cured those people when Shion told him to but I was just basking in denial when it came to old Ichirou because I just wanted to see him spend more time with his family... It's tragic that they both had to die.

It's a good thing that the Inuyashiki family's finally doing well thanks to his noble sacrifice. This anime might have its very visible flaws but the emotions and excitement I got from it was real. Trump had a role too naisu lmao

For me, this show gives a different vibe than any other anime that I have watched. I loved how it ended, how the family reunites for a short moment, they were able to love and appreciate Mr. Inuyashiki again. Though, apart from the part where both Inuyashiki and Hiro wasn't given the credits they deserve, from saving the world from that huge asteroid and instead gives it to "americans". Yeah, i hate that part. Overall, this episode made me cry.

They're the reason why their city suffers. Now that they're dead, it back to normal again. The asteroid put end the story, it feels force. Hiro's reason for killing is not justifiable. The only thing I like about this anime is Inuyashiki become a superhero and help people in need. Other than that... It's just okay. This anime inspired by Death Note but the execution is bad. Death Note is a lot lot better.

It's a really sad ending, but I think it's the best way to end it. It seems unfair for Inuyashiki but it's his destiny and he gladly accept it. He's the real hero, for his family, the world and of course himself. And Hiro, yeah it's just like Kaneki, man. It's not the world that's wrong, but how you think about it is just wrong from the beginning, it's a shame, man. You're dragging your family, your loved one because of your stupidity...One question...who gave the powers to Inuyashiki and Hiro at the beginning??? I'm really curious...

Wow the trump adaptation. The voice was kinda off but the "loser" impression was kinda spot on lmfao.

Honestly I think the whole asteroid ending is a little bit rushed and sudden, they didn't give a lot of time for the characters to process it.

Speaking about VAs, I think it was kinda great that the studio gave an opportunity for daily drama actors to voice in Inuyashiki. I have seen some dramas by Fumiyo Kohinata. I mean the reason why many people we're complaining about the off voice acting is because the voice actors are not experienced in terms of voice acting. They do more dramas instead. IMO, I really like the voice acting in Inuyashiki.

I appreciate the contrast between Hiro and Inuyashiki. Although they both are the same types of machines, one kills while the other saves, gives a basic protagonist and antagonist storyline. However, although both are different, they both have people they care about and are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect these people. (why am i stating the obvious)

Just when everyone thought Hiro was gonna save the day by self-destructing, Hiroya Oku pulled the Uno Reverse card and instead got both machines to self-destruct in order to save the world.

I also love the concept of this anime. I think it's really cool that Hiro could kill people, even through monitors, just by pointing his finger and screaming "Bang!".

The basis of the story is pretty simple from having an old man and a teenager dying and being rebuilt as machines by aliens.
With the old 58-year-old Ichirou wanting to save others, and the 19-year-old Hiro desiring to kill, both with their own opposite method to feel human.

When Ichirou finds out he's about to die in about three months due to cancer, he doesn't tell his family as he's unsure if they would care to cry for him, leading him to sob himself of pity while embracing his new dog Hanako, as Hiro was beside him at some point, an invisible ufo crushed them to death.

Even though Ichirou is insecure and frustrated at times from missteps or failures, he is always determined to save as many people as he can.
From a homeless man about to come back to his wife, to patients in hospitals, to a girl who was about to get raped by a yakuza, to finally saving some of the victims of Hiro and in the end earth from an asteroid. Ichirou finds his reason for being born and living.

Unlike Hiro, who in his nature since a child killing animals, always had the potential to become a psychopath from his lack of morality and remorse for others.
From his invincibility to avoid consequences from the law, his ultimate power lead him to kill without hesitation to feel alive.
On first impression and a bit throughout the progression of the plots, the story seemed to almost feel lame with an awkward old man of a protagonist but quickly and constantly progressed in a thrilling wave of great action and drama.
From killing strangers in their homes, to Naoyuki's bullies and finally being find out by the cops and his mother who later commits suicide, Hiro's caring side for his childhood friend, the mourning of his mother and love for Shion who had a crush on him was very interesting.

The mass murder of trolls on the internet mocking his mother, to cops attempting to apprehend and kill him, to wanting everyone's death in Japan as they're his enemy in his mind was exciting.
Ichiriou's slow instincts to develop similar skills as Hiro in time to save more with the help of Naoyuki was a little frustrating but fitting to his character.
Hiro not seeking redemption but only wanting to save Shion and her grandma by self-destructing to push the asteroid away was fitting of the psychopath he was.

While I never cried, except for having tears in the scene where Ichirou's family find out who he is, along with the emotional scenes of saving and death, the emotions of horror and compassion were impactful. His death was of course sad as well.

While the whole story feels fairly simple. Mari didn't feel very complex in her development before being saved by her father, even though she served her purpose of the sobbing daughter embracing her father which is beautiful but... I guess it's hard to truly care for her in the end. I think she was probably just in a phase of not appreciating what she has but the lack context including his son and wife isn't fulfilling in comprehending them as a family. 8/10. Very enjoyable.

This show was a real treat.

It was sad to see that Shishgami was trying to change his path but realized he couldn't once the police came after him. Even though he was a murderous psychopath he did have people he cared about and that really showed in the ending. The part where Andou called Shishigami a murderous killing machine hit hard, cause the whole time thats what Shishigami was trying to convince himself he wasn't. Then when you also see that Shishigami had those tears flowing showed how much he cared and valued Andou. The moment Andou found out that Shishigami was going to sacrifice himself to save the world and him, it was heartbreaking because he how wrong he had been about his friend, and that painful scream he let out chilled me to the bone. We also see that Andou, Watanabe, and the grandmother all cried when Shishigami died just showed how much they cared for him in the end. Shishigami seemed like the protagonist and the Inyushiki was the antagonist even though he was the good guy. The question was did Shishigami redeem himself by saving all those people, and he showed he head a heart in the end. And with all the pain he had to endure, everything the trolls, his mom committing suicide, knowing his mom hated him he was still managed to be human. Shishigami didn't have to become who he did but that was the path he took

Inyuashiki was one of the most lovable and charasmatic characters I have ever seen.
When Ichirou finds out he's about to die in about three months due to cancer, he finds his new friend Hanaki, but doesn't tell his family because hes not sure if they would care or not. The powerful moment that the dog didn't even get to sat good bye and chased its owner. I hated how Inuyashiki's family treated him a like a human once he found out he was a superpowerful robot. Inyuashiki was the only true pure person in the anime. He cared for everyone no matter who they were because he had been there. He was once weak so once he became strong he defended the weak and was a true super hero. Many people are saying the dog falling over was to much I don't think it was. It was showing just much that dog cared for Inuyashiki, considering he rescued it and was there to help him through his journey. Hanako was always there for him when Inyuashiki was breaking down. .Even though Mari wasn't a likable character when she hugged him for the last time truly showed how powerful that scene was. When his family was staring at the sky and the explosion happened and they knew and they just broke down brought me to tears.

The ending was bittersweet to see that Mari had won the Jump contest
Even though the ending was rushed and the whole series was extremely violent it was extremely emotional
That was a long ramble series gets a 10/10. Even though it was rushed to the degree I felt for the characters and how it moved me gets that.

The ending was rushed and felt like a major cop-out but overall was an okay watch. I really only enjoyed the episodes focused on Shishigami. Although he's very flawed, his ideas feel very human; "being a hero sounds like a pain" "why should I care for those I don't know". When he tried to redeem himself he realized there was really no turning back. I'm glad that Shishigami wasn't fully redeemed but wasn't truly evil in a sense. Also, the bullshit they pulled on Mari still being alive makes me livid; I dislike his family Inuyashiki's family because of the way they treated him, in the beginning, to suddenly liking him after he reveals his identity. Shishigami really felt like the only interesting character to watch. Also, I still don't understand how the fuck Inuyashiki beat Shishigami. Shishigami knew how to use his abilities better and we never even saw much training from Inuyashiki.

Whatever the others says, this anime is a freakin masterpiece for me. Literally everything about this anime is really badass and really really good, especially on the last two episodes. That airplanes falling on the sky one by one was freakin mindblowing and one of the best scenes I've ever seen on an anime.

Though the CG animation is not that really good compare to what MAPPA has been doing on AOT Final Season but you will not notice that at 100% because of the thrill of the combination of fighting scenes and the soundtracks. Also Hiro's genocide action is not that justifiable, making me hate him literally the whole series. I wish MAPPA atleast made some original scenes showing his background story... The ending was kinda sad though but atleast they managed to save the Earth.

All in all, everything is great and I'm really satisfied, 10/10 for this. The ending is also really great for an apocalyptic sci-fi anime. I'm gonna miss this epic anime as well as the freakin epic OP old man :)
