| Let's just loosely throw the term around until it loses all it's meaning. Imo, there's no such thing as 'elitist show' and this site has very few true elitists. Just like with people who are critical, these can be both casual and hardcore anime fans. Some people are more knowledgeable when it comes to fictional works, therefore have more developed analytical skills for interpretation. It's actually mind boggling that so many people have this preconceived notion about low mean score meaning that you're a filthy, grumpy elitist scum. My jimmies are rustled only when a person trashes a show with no concise arguments on why it's bad. Back it up and I'll accept your opinion, even if my own is a polar opposite. I couldn't really care if you're being sarcastic or not about having a superior taste. This doesn't impact me.. not even the slightest. |
